3 years later

Three years later, I am still a Port Mafia's prisoner. I am eighteen years old now, but nothing has changed about me. I am still a miserable, weak and pathetic person. Mori refuses to kill me and free me from this pain. He wants to keep torturing me to the point I cannot stand on my feet anymore. I am losing my mind, my life, my everything. What I know is that people my age are old enough now to have their own freedom and the chance to experience new things and enjoy life. But it is the opposite for me. I don't feel like I am growing up. It would feel nice to show my teacher how I've grown and changed over the years...

Mori felt it's too "cruel" to keep me in a cage, so he put me in a small room instead. That's what he said, but I doubt that was the case. The room was like a basement, it wasn't any better. Instead, there's an actual bed and a bathroom near the room. The room was unused anyway. It was old and dirty, but I do prefer this than the cage.

However, I do not think Mori is nice enough to put me there with actual windows and no guards outside the door. He wouldn't give me the chance to escape. I am not allowed to go outside.

But...this time..

There Osamu Dazai is again, bursting into the room with the same dark and mischievous grin on his face to play with me again. I am tired of his dangerous games, but I don't have the energy anymore to try to stop him, it's pointless.

"Hey, Enchi-san! Aren't you bored?"

"....."

"I know that's a yes. We are gonna do something different today."

I widened my eye at his statement, "something different...?"

I suddenly felt scared. My body began shivering. I am not sure what Dazai could do. Probably anything comes to his mind.

To my surprise, he walked close to me to where I was sitting and lifted me by the wrist.

"Yes, follow me." He turned around and began dragging me with him to who knows where.

I began to panic, "w-wait! Am I even allowed to leave this room??" I looked at the male in front of me in confusion.

"No one is going to see us~" He chuckled. It seems to me he is in a good mood today...

I looked down, "but.. what if we got caught..?"

He looked back at me and pouted, "Enchi-san, stop complaining and just follow me...I am an executive here, and you shouldn't refuse anything I tell you to do." He said seriously. Then he added, "it's not like I am taking you to kill you. You probably don't care if you die anyway."

I gulped. That's right I wasn't afraid of death, but of what Dazai was planning to do. He was the youngest executive in the Port Mafia, and that alone made him a fearful person.

I didn't say anything. I decided to just follow. However, I couldn't help but look around me anxiously while walking. Luckily, the hallways were empty. Usually, they aren't. I wouldn't be surprised if in fact Dazai took care of this.

"Does your boss know about this..?" I asked.

He simply replied, "no."

"... You are crazy. You do know what will happen if he finds out.."

He chuckled at my reply, "I know, but he won't find out."

Again, I remained silent and kept following him. Thank goodness I could walk. Being tied up with chains was a pain.

The walk wasn't too long, I saw Dazai leading me to a door that I didn't know what was inside. I stood in front of it while looking completely confused and nervous. What if it was all a trap...?

Then, I looked at the Mafioso beside me, waiting for what was about to happen.

"There we are, let's go inside." He said as he opened the door, and it revealed that the room was an office that had many books on shelves. It looked like a library as well. To the side, there's a sofa. In the middle, there was a desk and a young man was sitting at it while writing something on a piece of paper.

However, he got interrupted after noticing us as he looked at us with a shocked expression.

"Dazai-kun..?? And-" His eyes met mine while the other was wrapped in bandages since it was badly injured. He looked more surprised after seeing me. He got up and fixed his glasses. He was wearing glasses and a suit. He was tall, and I noticed he had a mole above his lips on the left side of his face.

"You...you shouldn't be here. You both shouldn't have come here." He furrowed his eyebrows. He looked nervous just like me.

"Oh, come on, Ango, no one's gonna come here anyway. This is the safest place here." Dazai smiled.

Ango...?

The older male frowned, "why did you bring her here?" He asked the other male as he was referring to me.

"Simply because she is bored?" Dazai shrugged while making his way to the sofa to sit down. He took a seat and rested his hands behind his head. I kept standing still nervously. "So, I thought why not bring her here and let her meet new friends." He continued.

The young man named Ango looked at me a bit sad then frowned at Dazai again, "you know well that she shouldn't be here."

"Aw, you are so cruel, Ango! Come, Enchi-san, don't be shy and relax." Dazai gestured to me to sit down on the sofa after seeing me not moving from my spot.

"U-Uhm..." I was too nervous to move.

"Enchi-kun would get in trouble if anyone finds out she is here. You are being careless."

"Aw, Ango, you care about Enchi-san! How sweet."

"....."

From Ango's expression I could tell he was tired of Dazai's teasing as well....

Ango sighed and rubbed his temples, "just bring her back before it is too late."

"Nope." Dazai refused.

"...."

Suddenly, hearing the sound of the door being opened I flinched with Ango. My heart almost stopped as I thought it was one of the guards, or even Mori himself-

I quickly turned around and faced another unfamiliar man with short reddish tinge hair. He was tall too.

".....?"

Silence had filled the room as the tall man looked at me in confusion.

"Odasaku! You are finally here!" Dazai smiled widely. He looked happy to see that young man.

"You...." The man kept looking at me.

"Enchi-san came here because she wants to hang out with us." Dazai said smilingly.

I immediately looked at him while frowning nervously, "you dragged me here!" I shouted while Dazai just whistled without looking at anyone.

"Oh God..." I heard Ango mumbling.

The tall man in front of me started to get close and I was surprised. I saw him scanning me from up to down. "He hasn't done anything to you, right?"

"Huh?"

"You aren't hurt, are you?" He looked directly into my uninjured eye. His eyes showed sadness and emptiness, but also peace. It showed many emotions.

"Uhm, I am fine...Thank you." I replied.

"Oda-kun, tell Dazai-kun to bring her back before anyone sees her." Ango said seriously.

Dazai whined, "ugh you are no fun at all, Ango! Whatever, I know Odasaku doesn't mind if Enchi-san hangs out with us."

"Of course I don't. But..."

"Then how about we go to Bar Lupin together!" Dazai raised his arms and cheered.

"Bar??" I thought I heard him wrong.

"Absolutely not!" Ango shook his head.

"Let's go then." Dazai ignored Ango's words as he stood up, then took my weak, thin arm and started dragging me out of the office.

"H-Hey!" I widened my eye then looked behind me as I heard Ango and the other man talking inside the office. The young man with glasses kept arguing while the other man was trying to calm him down. At the end, they listened to Dazai. No matter what, they kept following him. It's like they can't stop him. Maybe because Dazai was an executive?

Honestly, I have no idea how we got out of the Port Mafia's headquarters without getting caught. Dazai knew a safe exit, so no one would see me with the three men.

The safe exit was a long hallway underground. It was dark, I felt scared someone might appear out of nowhere and see us. I gulped and gripped onto Dazai's coat without noticing myself. Dazai seemed to notice that though as I saw him looking at me in the corner of his eye. To my surprise, he held my hand tightly and asked, "do you trust me?"

"Huh?" I looked at him after hearing his question.

I didn't know what to answer. I myself am surprised to follow Dazai and count on him to get me out safely. Doesn't that mean I trust him? But he's a murderer! A Mafioso!

I looked down, "I...uh..."

"The fact that you are now following me, and depending on me proves that you do~" He chirped.

"....."

I fell silent as I had no answer I could think of.

"....?" I lifted my head as I noticed a source of light at the end of the exit.

No way, it's a miracle..

My eye shined after seeing the light as I started to hurry without noticing that.

I heard Dazai chuckling as we finally reached the end.

After we were out, I looked up at the clear night sky that was full of stars and started to take deep breaths from running. Breathing the fresh air made me feel better. I missed the feeling of freedom, I started to laugh automatically while looking at the sky.

"Haha...hahaha.."

I felt tears in my uninjured eye once I saw the sky.

The man with soft features or should I call him Oda seemed to notice my tears as he asked me, "...are you okay?"

"I...feel free." I replied, not looking away from the sky.

"....."

He kept looking at me quietly.

"See? I told you we would get out with no problem," Dazai said.

"I don't know why I came along.." Ango sighed.

"Enchi-san will be back safe and sound, okay? Just don't worry~" Dazai waved his hand then walked away first.

"Woah..."

I was amazed. Seeing the city felt like a dream. The road was filled with cars while many people walked on the sidewalk around us. I heard people talking and laughing with each other, including the sound of the cars, it was lively. It's been so long since I've walked in the city.

After a while, we were in front of the bar Dazai mentioned. It was located in an alleyway.

"Do you three usually come here?" I asked while looking at the signager of the place.

"Yes, this is where we usually hang out," Oda answered as Dazai pushed the door open to go inside.

The bar wasn't very large. In the middle, I saw the counter and behind it there was the waiter who was wiping a glass with a cloth. Behind the waiter was the shelf with the many alcohol bottles placed on it.

The waiter looked at us and greeted us. It seems he knows the three guys, which makes sense because they always come here.

Before I could take a seat though, I thought to myself...is it okay for me to be in a bar? This was the first time I came to a place like this...

Dazai speaking interrupted my thoughts, "what do you think of this place so far, Enchi-san?"

"Uhm, it's nice..This is my first time coming here actually." I answered as I took a seat with the three Mafia members. I sat between Dazai and Oda.

"This place isn't for you...Just why a bar of all places?" I heard Ango saying.

I think he was right...

"Welcome, what do you want to order?" The waiter asked.

"The usual." Dazai said, then looked at me. "What do you want to drink, Enchi-san?" For some reason, there was a smirk on his face.

"Uh.."

I didn't know what to order. I've never drunk alcohol before.

"... Juice? There's juice here, right?" I said with a questioning tone while smiling nervously.

Dazai blinked while looking at me, then looked back at the waiter while smiling as he ordered the drink for me. His voice was quiet though, so I couldn't hear him clearly.

I noticed Ango looking at the young Mafioso suspiciously as he was ordering the drinks.

"So, this is your first time coming here, huh. We will make it special then," Dazai said smilingly.

"Special?"

"What are you planning, Dazai-kun?" Ango frowned.

"I am not planning anything~ I just want Enchi-san to have fun~"

I blinked in confusion. He wants me to have fun? Why did he suddenly become nice to me?

Then, the drinks were served. Since I wanted to have juice, my drink was different from theirs. Mine was red.

I looked at my glass while Dazai was speaking, "I ordered strawberry juice for you."

"Oh, thank you," I said as I grabbed the glass and took a sip.

Oh my goodness..

"....!"

My eye was wide open after I took a sip since I hadn't expected it to taste so strong. I coughed a bit as I felt my throat burning. And it was warm too. Very weird drink.

"That's... juice?" I asked while looking at the liquid suspiciously.

"What's the matter?" Dazai asked.

"It's... it's strong.."

"Dazai-kun! Did you just-"

"Shh, Ango, I will handle this." I heard Dazai mumbling, then he looked at me, "you don't like it, Enchi-san?"

I looked at the glass, then took a sip to have a taste again. It burns, but it isn't so bad to the point I wanted to vomit. Instead, it made me feel warm in my chest. Also, it had a little bit of sweetness to it, I wouldn't say no to drink that.

"It burns a bit, but it isn't so bad...Dazai, this isn't strawberry
juice, don't fool me!" I frowned at him.

"If you like it, then drink it," he shrugged and took a sip of his own drink.

"Humph.." I huffed then continued to drink it despite the burn. I didn't want Dazai to keep messing with me. It burnt at first, but then it started to get tasty after each sip.

"Enchi-san, don't drink all of it. It's alcohol." Ango told me.

I stopped drinking after hearing him say that, "alco-" I paused to look at the glass. At that moment, I felt my cheeks heating up and my head spinning a little. I drank half of it..

"Alco...hol?"

I heard Oda sighing beside me.

"Yes, Dazai-kun made you drink alcohol..." Ango continued.

"Aw, but she liked it! Right, Enchi-san?" Dazai asked me.

"....."

".... Enchi-san?" I heard Oda as he poked my shoulder.

"....My head is spinning," I said and placed the glass down then looked at the three guys as I felt my vision getting blurry.

"Woah...!"

"....??"

"This...is insane!" I gasped while looking around me. I felt as if I was in wonderland. "I feel..wonderful! Hahaha! I feel like..I am in another world!" I laughed and shouted while getting up from my seat.

"....." Ango and Oda watched with a slight nervous look on their faces.

"Pfft- hahaha!" Dazai laughed as he watched me getting drunk from the alcohol too. "Do you? That's great! Do you know who I am? Can you recognize me?"

I squinted my eye while looking at Dazai. There was blurriness in my vision, so I couldn't quite see him clearly. And my hearing wasn't the best, everything around me echoed in my ears. It felt as if I was in a dream.

"You are...ugh..the subordinate..of Mori..that stupid man." I grunted while scratching my head.

Dazai laughed more after I answered that, "hang on hang on! I gotta record this." He took out his phone to record me being drunk.

"Dazai-kun! Don't you think you are going too far?" Ango asked with a frown.

"Nah. Look at her, she's having fun. I am helping her."

"Helping her..?"

"Mhm. Enchi-san has been imprisoned for years. It's about time she got to experience and enjoy new things. Look how she's smiling and laughing. It's a rare sight to see."

"And by experience you mean drinking alcohol to the point of getting drunk." Ango sighed and facepalmed.

"Besides, whatever I tell her to do, she will do it. Look. Enchi-san, stand on the counter and do a funny dance!"

I stood on the counter and did a funny dance.

"Run around the bar like a dog!"

I ran around the bar like a dog.

"Let everyone know how great you are feeling right now! Shout it out of your lungs!"

I inhaled deeply and shouted so loud the people outside of the bar could probably hear, "I feel greeeeeeeat!!! Woohoo!!" I looked up and raised my hands in the air as I cheered.

"....!!" Ango covered his ears as his head started to hurt from how loud the atmosphere in the bar had become. Meanwhile, Oda managed to remain calm as he just drank his drink in peace. "Oda-kun, how are you so calm?! Do something!"

"Just like you, I can't do anything." Oda shook his head.

I don't know how many minutes had passed, I wasn't aware of anything around me. My head was completely blank, I wasn't thinking about anything anymore. Not about Mori, not about the Port Mafia. I felt as if I was..a newborn baby that just recently came to life. All my worries were gone. Nothing but laughs were coming out of my mouth. However, soon, darkness covered my vision and I completely lost my consciousness.

After that, I couldn't remember a thing. When I started to regain my consciousness, I saw myself in something that was...moving, like in a vehicle. I opened my eye and tried to process where I was. It was kinda dark, only the lights of the streets were reflecting on me as the vehicle moved.

"You are awake."

I heard a familiar voice saying this as I looked beside me and saw Ango, Dazai's colleague. He was driving while I was in the passenger seat.

"Ango-san...?" I called him after remembering his name. I grunted and touched my head, it was pounding hard like a rock just hit me. I was having a hangover, which explains why I was feeling so dizzy and nauseous.

"You passed out in the middle of the bar, so Dazai-kun entrusted me to bring you back safely." Ango sighed while keeping his eyes on the road. "I don't know what he's thinking. What happened was just...bizarre. Most importantly now, how are you feeling?"

"Not so good.." I replied with a tired groan, still touching my heavy head. Then, with my other hand, I rubbed my belly, having the urge to vomit.

"I am sorry...Hang in there, we are almost at our destination."

I looked down and mumbled, "I don't want to go back there..."

I wish I could take my escape and never return, but I know the attempt of escaping is useless. I've tried that before many times, but no matter what, I always get caught and even worse I get punished for that. I didn't have the power to do anything on my own, I was always being watched.

"I am afraid Mori will find out about this..."

"Dazai-kun said he would take care of it, so I guess you have no choice but to trust him." Ango told me.

"Trust...Dazai..." I mumbled to myself again.

If I am gonna be fully honest, I am not sure if Dazai can be trusted or not. I was still nervous. All I could do was pray and hope that nothing would happen.

"....."

The atmosphere around us was quiet, only the sound of the wheels of the car could be heard. I looked through the window, admiring the streets of Yokohama at night. There were less people, but it looked peaceful. Despite my hangover, I made sure to enjoy every street because I don't always have the chance to go outside. However, I couldn't help but take a glance at the man beside me. I eyed him with a curious look in the corner of my eye. I just met him so I don't know anything about him. But judging by his appearance, he doesn't really look like a Mafioso at all..I wonder why he joined the Mafia.

Ango seemed to notice I was staring as he asked me, "how a girl like you got involved with the Port Mafia?"

I let out a short sigh as I turned my head to look through the window again, "it's a long story..."

Seeing that he hadn't said anything, I glanced at him again and saw an expression on his face that I couldn't quite read. The lights outside were reflecting on his glasses that made it hard for me to read his eyes. All I could say about Ango is that...he gives off a strange aura.

.....

The next morning, I woke up and as I turned my head, my eye laid on a tray that was placed on the table not too far from my bed. I sat up to get a clear look and saw it was food. It looked freshly baked. It consisted of steamed rice, miso soup, grilled fish, and some tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled eggs) on the side with a cup of green tea. A typical Japanese breakfast.

I found myself smiling at the view. It looked delicious and I couldn't wait to eat it. I haven't had such good quality food since I've become imprisoned.

Wait a second...

The most important question now...who made this?

No..it can't be Dazai, right?! I mean...I doubt he can cook. The thing is no one except him, Mori, and the guards can enter this room. Did he send this, or..

I was busy wondering to myself as I noticed there was a small piece of paper placed near the tray. Is that a letter? I took the paper and opened it to see what was written on it. I began reading in my head.

"You must be suffering from a hangover after yesterday night. This will help you get better. It wasn't easy for me to sneak in. But thanks to Dazai's help, I managed to put this here while you were sleeping - from Sakunosuke Oda."

"Oda..." I mumbled this name as a flash appeared in my head. My memories of yesterday night wasn't the best, but I do remember there was another Mafioso aside from Ango who was with us. It's him?! But why...

I flipped the paper to check if there was something else written on the back and there was.

"Also, I know it can get very boring being locked up in that room, so I picked a book for you to read to kill the time. Dazai informed me you enjoy reading."

Book?

My eye drifted to the side and then I spotted there was also a book placed on the table to the side.

"...."

I began to blush. Seeing I've received good quality food and a book to read in the same morning made me feel.. something I haven't felt for years. Happiness.

Yes. Despite that I was imprisoned, this little gesture made me feel a little bit of joy. Usually, I would wake up with nothing. Sometimes I don't even have a meal to eat, so seeing such a nice gesture from someone here was new to me. And so then, my mind started making up questions. Why was Sakunosuke Oda being kind to me? We just met yesterday. I had a lot of questions I wanted to ask him. I wish I could meet him again...But with the state I am in, I am not sure if I can. Maybe Dazai will let me see him?

My stomach growling interrupted my thoughts as I sat down to eat.

"Thank you for the food." I said as I held my hands together in prayer before eating.

I held my chopsticks and began tasting everything that was on the tray. From the steamed rice to the tamagoyaki. And then of course, taking a sip of the green tea.

So refreshing..I even noticed myself automatically humming and smiling while chewing the food.

I took the cup of tea to take another sip. I suddenly stopped after smelling the aroma coming from the liquid. That scent made me nostalgic. It reminded me of the old days when I used to drink tea with my teacher, Fukuzawa, every morning. I narrowed my eye and gripped the cup as I felt a sting in my heart.

"....."

I lifted my head a little and visualised my teacher sitting in front of me, drinking with me. I can imagine his rare smile on his face as he's raising his cup.

Sensei..where are you right now? How are you doing? I hope you are okay because that's all that matters to me...

I sighed and closed my eye. Since the day I was taken in by him, I never thought things would head this way.

I tried to continue eating. But besides my hangover, overthinking made me lose my appetite. Still, I didn't like wasting food, so I tried to finish my meal. Besides, I didn't want to upset Oda if he found out I didn't finish the food he sent me.

After I finished eating and cleaning up, I grabbed the book that Oda sent as well and sat on my bed to read it and check what it was about. My eye lit up after opening the book. It was a novel called Wuthering Heights by the English author Emily Brontë. It was translated to Japanese. I know English, but I think Oda probably thought it was easier for me to understand it if it was in Japanese.

I giggled to myself as I began reading the novel. My mind entered the world of imagination and fantasy once I did. I wasn't thinking about reality anymore. Not the fact that I was imprisoned in a room or anything else. That's why I liked reading books. It makes you forget about your harsh reality and I think that's an amazing ability the human brain can do. I wasn't being myself anymore. Instead, I started imagining I was the characters in the novel.

It's true, when I read a book, I don't feel the time passing by. The time had passed fast. I don't know how many hours I spent reading, but I didn't care. I rather spend the whole time doing nothing but reading instead of just sitting and just staring at the wall with nothing but my thoughts.

However, I got interrupted after seeing the door open. I flinched and immediately sat up properly, nervous who that could be.

"Hello, Enchi-san!~ did you miss me?"

That voice...Of course it is him. I noticed he pays a visit every single day. At first when he started watching me, he would always complain about boredom and he would suddenly leave without telling me. He wouldn't stay for more than one hour. But now, it is different...He doesn't complain all the time like before and he often stays for hours and wouldn't leave me alone! Perhaps he got used to my company?

"Hey.." Knowing it was Dazai, I got back to the book to continue reading. I immediately remembered last night at the bar. "I haven't forgiven you yet for what you did yesterday."

"Ehh~ Come on, you should thank me for letting you go outside and even meet my two friends." Dazai said with a smirk as he entered the room and approached where I was sitting.

"You made me get drunk and then get sick afterwards!" I frowned and pulled the book closer to my face in an attempt to hide it from Dazai as I refused to look back at him.

I sensed him getting closer by hearing his footsteps approaching as I saw him getting on the bed when I pulled the book away from my face. Seeing him getting on top of me while I was on the bed made me yelp. Dazai then snatched the book from me and looked into my uninjured eye with his uncovered one as he said, "look at me when I am talking to you."

"....." I looked back into his visible eye, too stunned. Then after a few seconds, I managed to reply, "s-sorry..."

Dazai kept looking at me quietly for a moment then he chuckled, "you are so cute."

"Huh-"

I didn't have the time to react as he continued speaking. "Do you wanna see yourself drunk for the first time?~" He asked with an innocent smile as he took out his phone to show me the recording of me being drunk last night.

"What?!"

"You were sooo cuute!~~ But also pathetic.."

My cheeks turned red from embarrassment as I frowned, "did you just take pictures of me yesterday?!"

"Not only pictures, but I also recorded a video! I will definitely show it to Odasaku and Ango when I see them today~" Dazai said in a teasing tone.

"D-Don't you dare show it to anyone! Give me your phone! Delete them right now!" I yelled and tried to reach my arm out to the phone to snatch it from him. But of course he prevented me from doing so by lifting the phone up in the air and using his other hand to pin me down. "Nope~" He chirped. "I gotta add this to my favourite album. By the way, did you like the book that Odasaku sent you?"

"Don't change the subject!" I squirmed under his grip as he held me down.

"I am not. I really wanna know what you think of that book." He replied in a less playful tone this time.

"....." I groaned then stopped fighting back as I gave up. I was just tired of dealing with Dazai's games. No matter what, he would always have his way with me and win. Maybe that's why he liked to mess with me, but I asked him anyway because I wanted to hear the answer from him. "Why do you always tease me and mess with me..?"

Dazai raised his eyebrows and blinked as he seemed to be surprised by that question. Then a smile appeared on his face, "because it's fun."

"Stop it! Give me a clear answer." I said with a frown as I looked into his eye.

Dazai kept quiet then sighed. He had an expression that I couldn't read. However, he definitely looked serious instead of playful. "I feel less lonely when I am with you."

I blinked as his answer surprised me a little.

"Being a Mafia executive is exhausting. Too exhausting I just wanna end my life, which I attempted to do so many times. But every time I try to do it, I fail. When I am with you..I forget about work. Your company eases my stress. The same thing when I am with Odasaku and Ango.."

"....!"

Hearing that from Dazai himself left me completely speechless. I gotta say, these three years being observed by him, this is the first time I see him looking and even sounding this serious. I am certain everything he was saying didn't sound like a joke, which was shocking to me. Dazai often talks to me in a mocking and teasing tone. But this time, he sounds genuine. Not gonna lie..that made my heart beat fast.

So, does he mean that...he liked my company? And didn't only see me as a prisoner and a victim? I asked him to find out the right answer.

"Dazai..what am I to you?"

Dazai looked down at me. I noticed he was a little bit too close to me..he leaned in closer which made my heart pound. But then to my surprise, he poked my nose and chuckled as he answered, "I will let you find out yourself~" He got off the bed, leaving me looking puzzled.

"What? Hey!" I sat up and pouted after he pulled back. I couldn't understand Dazai, so I wasn't sure if I could find out the answer by myself..it was gonna be such a hard task. Dazai was unreadable and unpredictable, so it might be impossible...

"You wanna meet Odasaku?" He suddenly asked.

I looked at him surprisingly, "how did you..."

"Figured you would wanna thank him for what he had done for you. He's a really nice guy, that's why he's my friend. If you wanna meet him that bad, then I can help with that." Dazai said with a smile.

"Do you really mean it?! I do wanna meet him again...but is that possible?"

"Haha. Nothing is impossible." Dazai replied with a mysterious smirk.

I smiled excitedly after knowing I could have the chance to meet Oda again. But I still felt nervous because I was afraid of getting caught. Though, Dazai let me go outside yesterday and return safely, so I think I can count on him.
