*Ashton's POV*

"Haha! Catch me of you can!" I yelled as I ran down the stairs. I heard three sets of feet pounding down the stairs behind me so I speeded up my pace. I ran to the living room and jumped over the couch, I knew it was stupid to try to hide because they can smell me but hey a girl can try right?

It was Sunday today and I really wasn't looking forward to school tomorrow. I heard Jace, Justin and Saxon enter the living room and I held back a giggle. I had attacked the three of them with a water gun, drenching them, and then I ran from the room.

"We know your in here Ashton, better come out." Justin taunted even though I knew they knew were I was. I silently crawled to the left side of the couch and peaked my head out. Saxon, Justin and Jace were all standing in the door way drenched from head to toe. My eyes lingered on Saxon and I couldn't help but to notice how his black shirt clung to his perfectly defined chest or how his hair looked even darker dew to the water.

I had been so distracted by Saxon that I didn't even notice that the twins had snuck up behind me. I felt cold water all over my body and I shrieked.

"Stop it!" I laughed as the twins continued to spray me with water.

"Pay back!" The yelled together. I jumped up from the ground and turned to run only to be engulfed in a pair of arms.

"I don't think so princess." Saxon said as he tightened his grip on me. The twins stocked forward, guns held high and I started to squirm.

"Let me go!" I yelled as they came forward.

"Get her!" Justin cried. The twins continued to shoot me and by the time I was done I was just as drenched as they had been.

"Guys you were supposed to get her not me!" Saxon whined. I turned around to see he had gotten hit with a lot of the water also. The twins threw him innocent looks but before anyone could say anything I heard a gasp from the living room entrance. I turned towards the door to see my mother standing there.

"Ashton! Your ok!" She cried as she ran over to me. She pulled me into a tight hug even though I was wet. I didn't know what to do so I let my arms hang. She pulled back and inspected my face.

"I'm so glad your okay." She said as she went in for another hug. I stepped back and gave her a hard look.

"Why do you care?" I asked harshly. She flinched but put a smile on her face.

"Because your my daughter and I love you." She said sickly sweet. As soon as the words left her mouth I wanted to slap her.

"You are no mother of mine." I answered. She looked taken back and her mouth fell open.

"I am to your mother!" She protested. I snorted at her foolish expression.

"You are not my mother. Sure you may have given birth to me but you stopped being my mother the day you blamed me for my fathers death." I practically yelled. She flinched when I mentioned dad and I glared at her.

"I'm sorry Ashton. I was so lost without your father, I felt like I needed somebody to blame and sadly I chose to blame you and it was a huge mistake. Please give me another chance to be your mother." She begged. I studied her face. She looked sincere but looks can be deceiving.

I narrowed my eyes at her and then pushed past her, trying to get out of the living room but before I could she clasped her hand around my wrist.

"Ashton?" She asked quietly. I yanked my wrist out of her hand and turned back to her.

"Just leave me alone." I said and then turned back around. I walked out of the front room and calmly up the stairs but when I got to the top I ran to my room and slammed the door. I slid down the door and brought my knees up to my chest. I felt a tear escape from my eye and I whipped it away furiously. I will not cry over her. I don't even know why she wants another chance, she made my life hell for five years, she abused me and know she wants back into my life? If she really wants a chance then she's going to have to work hard to get it.

I got up off of the floor and walked towards my bathroom. I looked into the large mirror that hung on the wall and laughed at my reflection. My hair was falling out of the messy pony tail I had it in and it was dripping wet to. My mascara was running down my face and my cheeks were flushed. I stripped out of my soaking wet clothes and got into the shower. I washed my body and my hair but after that I just stood there, enjoying the hot water.

I got out about ten minutes later because the water started to get cold. I walked into my room and to my closet. I put on a pair of cotton shorts and a off the shoulder sweater that had 'love' written across the front. I put my hair into a messy bun and did my make up.

I stepped out into the hall way and started to head down to the living room before I changed my mind. I turned around and started walking down the hall way. One, two, three, four, and five. I stopped when I came to the door. I knew that she would be in there because it was his room. I lightly tapped on the door and waited for a response when there wasn't one I tapped again.

There still wasn't an answer so I twisted the knob and pushed the door open. As soon as I stepped into the room his scent hit me like a bulldozer, reminding me of my old friend. And as I guessed she was lying on his bed staring at the ceiling. I slowly walked over to her but she didn't look at me.

"Alice?" I asked as I placed my hand on her shoulder. She jerked from my touch and her eyes met mine. Her green eyes looked lifeless and it made me sad.

"Yes?" She asked with no emotion in her voice. I sat down on Winston's bed and took in her appearance. She looked better then she had the last time I saw her but not by much. Her green eyes were lifeless and her skin was pale. Her cheeks looked like they had started to sink in probably from lack of food. Her firey red hair looked dead and unkept.

"Would you like to come downstairs with me? We could watch a movie or maybe go somewhere?" I asked her quietly. She didn't seem to acknowledge my question and I sighed.

"Alice you can't keep doing this to yourself, you know he wouldn't want this." I whispered the last part. I saw pain flash threw Alice's eyes and she sat up and turned to me.

"I don't know how else to handle it, it's just so hard." She said quietly.

"I can't even begin to understand the pain your going threw but you really can't do this, your killing yourself slowly and you know that Winston wouldn't want that, you know that he would have wanted you to continue on your life and live happily." I said. She took a deep calming breath when I said his name and a single tear roiled down her cheek.

"Your right." She said strongly and I smiled. She looked me in the eyes and I saw a new spark there, determination.

"He wouldn't want me to live like this so I'm not going to." She said again. She got up and took my hand.

"Where are we going?" I asked her as she drug me out of the room. She led me down the hallway and to her room.

"You said that we should do something so lets do something, lets go see a movie, lets get our hair done, lets go shopping, I don't know lets do everything that girls do." She said somewhat excitedly. This caused a large smile to cross my face.

"Ok let's do it all. We'll go to the mall ok?" I asked her. She nodded her head and ran to her bathroom.

"I'm going to take a quick shower." She yelled as she shut the door. I took the time to look around her room. It was painted a light pink color and all her furniture was white. It was a very girly room but I liked it.

"Hey Alice is it alright if we bring Lilly along with us?" I called threw the bathroom door.

"Ya, that's fine." She yelled back. I smiled and walked over to the door so I could go get Lilly. Josh and Lilly's room is one the third floor so I had to run up a flight of stairs before I got there room. I knocked on the door and waited for a response. I heard some shuffling coming from inside the room and a few seconds later a very tired looking Josh answered it.

"Oh hey little sis." He said with a smile. I smiled back but I couldn't help but notice the dark bags under his eyes.

"Hey Josh. Is Lilly in there?" I asked motioning to the room. He nodded his head and let me into the room. Lilly was lying on the bed with her feet propped up and both hands on her swollen belly.

"Hey Lilly." I said happily. She had a mean look on her face but as soon as she saw me a smile made its way to her face.

"Hey Ash!" She said happily. I sat down on her bed and set a hand on her belly.

"How's he doing?" I asked as I looks at her stomach. After I had been rescued from the rogues Lilly had told me that when I was in there she went to the doctor and found out that she was having a boy.

"He's kicking like crazy. The little buggers being hyper." She said as she looked at her stomach lovingly.

"He's already a trouble maker." I joked and she nodded her head.

"Hey do you want to go to the mall with Alice and me?" I asked her suddenly. She immediately nodded her head and I smiled.

"Wait, you got Alice to come out of the room?" She asked me astonished. I nodded my head and she raised her eye brow.

"Good job." She praised. I smiled and I got up, heading toward the door.

"Meet us downstairs in five and then we'll go." I said as I walked out of the door. I ran back downstairs to Alice's room and knocked before opening the door. Alice was standing next to her mirror and she looked great. Her hair was down in its natural red waves and her makeup was minimal. She was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a red flowery top.

"Are you ready?" I asked her. She turned towards me and smiled.

"Ya. Is Lilly coming?" She asked. I nodded my head and then we walked out of the door. We walked side by side down the stairs and when we got to the bottom I noticed Lilly standing there in a maternity dress.

"You ready to go Lilly?" I asked her happily. She nodded her head excitedly and we walked out the door together. We all piled into Saxons black SUV and headed towards the mall.

The ride to the mall consisted of me singing my heart out to the radio and Lilly and Alice laughing at me. When we got to the mall I pulled into a parking space close to the door and jumped out of the car.

Lilly and Alice got out and followed me in. The mall in our town isn't that big but it's packed with stores.

"What do you guys want to do first?" I asked excitedly.

"Movie!"

"Shopping!" Alice and Lilly both said at the same time. I rolled my eyes as the pair started to argue over what to do. This out to be fun.

"Come help us with the bags!" I yelled as I pulled into the drive way of the house. I knew the boys could hear us because of werewolf hearing and not two seconds later did Justin, Jace, Saxon, Reed and Emily come out of the house. I climbed out of the car and walked towards the trunk which was packed full.

When we were at the mall we had decided to see a movie first and then after that was over we went to the hair salon and got our hair trimmed. We then went to get our finger and toe nails done. Then we spent the rest of the time shopping.

"How much clothes do you need?!" Justin asked as he opened the trunk. I admit it, we did but a lot of clothes.

"Just shut up and help." I ordered. He rolled his eyes at me but grabbed a few bags. It only took a few trips to get all of the bags in the house and once we did we separated them and carried then to our rooms.

"Hey Alice are you going to school tomorrow?" I asked Alice as we walked down the stairs. She scrunched up her eye brows and tilted her head to the side.

"I guess so." She said slowly. I smiled real big at her and pulled her into a hug.

"Your doing really good Alice." I said quietly. She smiled at me and we continued walking.

"Well it's all thanks to you." She said happily. I went to reply to her but before I could I was tackled by a certain girl.

"Why didn't you take me with you?" Emily pouted as she sat on me. When she had tackled me she had knocked us to the floor and she was now sitting on me.

"You were busy with Reed doing who knows what." I said as I pushed her off of me. She blushed a deep red and I laughed really loud.

"Blah!" She said as she got to her feet. I rolled my eyes at her childishness at turned towards Alice.

"Alice this is Emily, Emily this is Alice." I said motioning to the both of them. Emily pulled Alice into a hug.

"Nice to meet you!" Emily chirped. Alice was cautious at first but she eventually returned the hug.

"Nice to meet you to." She said as Emily released her.

"Hey what's everyone doing over here?" Lilly asked as she waddled over to us. I shook my head at her and we all walked to the living room. I could already tell that the four of us are going to be best of friends.
