*Ashton's POV*

Oh. My. God. These people just need to leave me alone. All week I've had people following me around because of this whole rogue thing. I mean I appreciate that they care about me but its getting old. I was walking down the stairs going to the back yard. It's a Friday and I have nothing to do, Lilly and Josh are out, the twins, Reed and Winston are all taking care of pack business so I have nobody to hang out with.

I walked I to the back yard and took my shirt off, I was going to go for a swim because its a really nice day. Stripping out of the rest of my clothes I jumped into the water. I immediately felt the cool water surround my body. I kicked my legs and resurfaced. When I opened my eyes I saw that Saxon was watching me from the window. I decided to ignore him.

He's been being a real ass lately. Ever since the rogue leader threatened me he's been practically controlling my life. He won't let me go anywhere without at least two guards, even at school. I tried to sneak out on Thursday, I got caught and he yelled at me and tried to ground me, ground me! Who does he think he is, my father?

I sank under the water again and swam around the pool. I spent a good thirty minutes in the large pool before I got out. Pulling myself out of the cool water I picked up a towel and wrapped it around myself. I decided to let the sun dry me and maybe get a tan.

I was laying on the lawn chair for no more then ten minutes until I felt a shadow cover my sun When I opened my eyes Saxon was standing over me.

"Can I help you?" I asked sarcastically. His lips formed into a thin line and he replied,

"You need to come inside, your going to get a sunburn." I locked my jaw and scrunched up my nose. There he goes again trying to act like my father. I stood up from my lawn chair and stalked towards him. I got right up in his face, pointing a finger to his chest and said,

"Who do you think you are? Your not my father, you cant boss me around. I'm seventeen I can do whatever the hell I want!" He had a smirk on his face and replied,

"I got permission from Reed to do whatever I think is best for you, and I think it's best for you to come inside." Oh how I wanted to slap that smirk off of his face. I shrieked and pushed him, hard. I watched as he fell into the pool, fully clothed. His face was one of pure shock.

I couldn't help it, I laughed. This laugh wasn't just a little one it was a full on belly laugh that had my whole body shaking. I was so heavily laughing that I didn't even notice Saxon getting out of the water, or that he was coming right at me. When I finally did notice he was standing less then a foot away from me.

I turned around and ran towards the house, I didn't get very far before I felt wet, cold arms wrap around my waist and haul me off of the ground.

"Nooo!" I yelled. Saxon tightened his arms around me to stop me from moving. "Put me down!" I screamed. He was walking toward the pool now and I knew he was going to throw me in. I braced my self for the impact of the water but right before he threw me I grasped his arm, successfully pulling him in with me.

We both landed in the water with a loud 'splash!'. I plunged to the surface and took a deep breath. I turned to look for Saxon but couldn't find him. I continued to look for a few seconds but couldn't see him anymore, by now I was starting to panic. What if he hit his head and is dying right now.

Before I could go into full out panic mode I felt a pair of arms wrap around me from the back and I quickly calmed down. Turning around I glared at Saxon.

"You scared the hell out of me!" I nearly screamed. My chest was huffing up and down and I felt a tear slip and run down my cheek. I know me and Saxon aren't mater, or even in a relationship but it still hurt to think that he was dead.

The smirk that had been on his face instantly dropped and he frowned.

"What did I do?" He asked as he wiped the tear from my cheek. I took a deep breath trying to calm my nerves.

"I thought you were drowning or something, you didn't come up for three or four minutes!" I whispered. I felt silly telling him that I was so worried about him because he probably doesn't feel anything for me. He brought my head to his chest and was caressing my hair.

"I'm sorry baby girl. I didn't mean to worry you, it was just a joke." He whispered back. I sighed and pulled away from him.

"I should probably get inside-" I began but before I could continue something amazing happened, Saxon crashed his lips to mine. His lips were warm and soft as they smoothly moved against mine. I immediately kissed him back. There was an urgency in the kiss and a deep, raw passion. Sparks were flying and my wolf was howling in happiness.

I felt him lick my bottom lip for entrance, I quickly opened up and let him in. His tongue explored my mouth and mine his. Our tongues fought for dominance but eventually his won. I could feel his hands going up and down my back and I had tangled mine in his thick black hair.

When we finally pulled back we were both gasping for breath. Saxon leaned his forehead against mine and I sighed.

"Ashton I have something to say. I know that I was a horrible mate and I did things to you that we're unforgivable but I want to be the mate that you need, I'm ready and if you give me the chance ill spend the rest of my life trying to prove to you that I can be a good mate. I'm just asking for one chance, only one. If you say no I understand but please, please think about it Ashton. " As Saxon spoke those words he was looking me right in the eyes. There was so many emotions in his eyes, hope, sadness, pain and even a little bit of excitement.

I felt my heart skip a beat and I knew what I was going to do.

"One chance. That's all I'm giving you. If you screw it up then it's over. I mean it Saxon, no flirting with other girls, if I even see you looking at one the wrong way it will be over." There was nothing but seriousness in my voice and I searched Saxons eyes for a sign as to what he's thinking.

A thousand watt smile illuminated his face, he scooped me I to his arms and spun me around in circles.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I swear I won't mess this up! I'll be the best mate there is!" Saxon yelled in victory. I couldn't help but giggle from his childish behavior. He lowered me down and I wrapped my legs around his waist.

"Take me inside my loyal mate." I ordered in a fake British accent. He rolled his eyes at me but did as I said, and never ones did that million watt smile leave his face.

As Saxon carried me up the stairs to my bedroom we talked about what was going one with the other guys.

"So were exactly are they?" I asked. As I said before the twins, Reed and Winston were out doing pack business. Saxon smiled at me and replied,

"There at a small building in town. They have some financial things to take care of." I nodded my head. Saxon kicked open the door to my room and lightly set me one my feet. I looked up at him and smiled.

"I'm going to take a shower, see you when I get out?" He nodded his head and leaned down to give me a kiss.

"See you in a bit my beautiful mate." I giggled and blushed as he walked out and closed the door. I can't believe me and Saxon are finally together. I always dreamed that it would happen but never thought it would. I stripped out of my clothes and jumped into the shower. The warm water washed away all the coldness left from the pool and relaxed my muscles.

After a twenty minute shower I got out and walked I to my room. I decided since I'm probably just going to be hanging out with Saxon there's no reason to dress up. I put on a pair of short shorts and a tank top. I threw my hair into a messy bun and was ready to go.

I ran downstairs to see Saxon sitting on the couch. I walked over to the couch and sat next to him. When I sat down he looked over at me and frowned. Why is he frowning? I thought to myself.

"What's wrong?" I asked quietly. He pulled me into his lap and then smiled.

"You sat over there and not in my lap." He said smugly. I rolled my eyes, typical boy.

"So what do you wanna do?" I asked cheerfully. He thought it over before replying,

"Movie marathon?" I jumped up excitedly and yelled,

"I get first pick!" Saxon started to protest but I cut him off. "No, no, no! Don't say anything, I'm the girl which means I get first pick!" He chuckled but didn't say anything else. I scanned threw the tons of movies we have until my eyes settled on my favorite movie. I grabbed it and put it into the DVD player.

Pushing play I climbed back into Saxons lap. The beginning of, 'P.S. I love you.' Started to play and Saxon groaned.

"Why this movie?" He asked. I rolled my eyes and responded,

"Because it's my favorite movie." He narrowed his eyes and laughed.

"Your favorite movie would be a sappy chick flick." He smirked. Oh he'll no! He did not just call my movie a, 'sappy chick flick'! I glared at him and punched his arm with all my might.

"Oww! What was that for?!" He asked. I felt somewhat bad that I had hurt him but then I remembered what he called my movie.

"That's for making fun of my movie. Now shut up and watch." I said.

By the time the movie was over I was curled up in Saxons lap, clutching his shirt and there were a ton of used tissues on the floor. This movie always makes me cr every time. Saxon had laughed at me when I cried but still comforted me.

"Are you ok now baby girl?" I nodded my head and yawned. It was eleven at night now and I was super tired. I leaned my head against Saxons chest and closed my eyes. He started to stroke my hair and I sighed. I was just about asleep when I felt Saxon lift me from the couch.

"It's ok baby, go back to sleepy" he murmured. I nodded my head and relaxed. He carried me to what I assed was my room and lied me on the bed. He kissed my forehead and went to walk away but I was clutching into his arm.

"Please don't go. Stay with me." I whispered tiredly. He didn't say anything but he climbed into bed with me. Saxon wrapped his arms around my me and I leaned back into his chest.

I fell asleep without a care in the world, in my mates arms, right were I belong.
