Chapter 7
At my last school everyone stopped at their locker before class. No one did that here. I stopped at my locker anyways and put in some extra stuff from PE. Before I could close my locker someone did that for me. Shocked, I turned around and saw Skymedia. They were all laughing except for Red. Red only looked back at me. He mouthed the word 'sorry,' and turned back around. Since I had just finished at my locker, I didn't care. My next class was Photography. The only thing I knew about this school was the outstanding music and sports programs. And their 4 block system. I'll admit it, this school is pretty damn nice. And photography was just a class. Think about how many clubs there are. I walk into class. The chairs were arranged in 2 per group. It was really odd. Some of the students were already sitting with their friends. In the back of the room I could see Ashley on her phone, sitting by herself. I quickly walked over and sat by her. "Hey," I said. She looked up from her phone. "Oh hey, okay, I'm gonna be real. I forgot your name. Can I just call you Bee?" She forgot my name? At least she was being honest. Wait, why Bee? Why not something cuter? I never got nicknames anyways. How could you remember a nickname but you can't remember a real name? I didn't care honestly. "Sure." I responded. It was silent until Max dropped in. After he sat down the teacher started the class. "Alright class, I'm Mrs. Bright-Kaufman but you can call me BK. You all already have a seating." She started calling names and pointing to seats. I started paying attention when she called my name. I was in a chair in the back. How lucky could I be? I sat down and she continued talking. "So you're a new student to this school?" She stared at me until I answered, "uh, yeah." She let out a sight and went on to the person who was going to sit next to me. "Max LaPlume." Was there another Max in the room? Nope. The red haired Max I saw with guys at the mall and the ones who closed my locker started walking towards me. I started noticing how pretty his eyes were as he got closer. "Take a picture, it lasts longer." He snarled. I just noticed I was staring longingly at him. He sat down next to me. I was hoping he couldn't notice my cheeks brighter than a tomato.
