- Monday Morning - 

- Day of the party - 

Right now, I'm downstairs eating breakfast, my parents were able to make me some food before they left for work. 

Jack, Daniel, and Noah were sitting in the living room. I'm in the kitchen. 

"Guys, time for school!" Noah shouted. 

Max came running downstairs...without pants on. But, luckily in my case, he was wearing underwear. 

"Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something? What am I forgetting?" He asked. 

"Pants!" I shouted. 

Everyone laughed. 

He ran back upstairs. I turned my attention back to my food. 

I lost my appetite. 

But, good thing I ate most of the food before that incident happened. 

I washed my dishes and put them in the dishwasher. 

Then, Max came running back downstairs, with pants on. Thank goodness!

Everyone grabbed their bags, and we walked to the car. 

We all sat in our usual seats. 

We just talked. 

Several minutes later, we arrived at Jefferson High School. 

Noah parked the car. 

We got out of the car and began walking towards the school. 

We talked until we got inside the building. 

I started walking away.

"Bye, guys!" I shouted. 

"Bye!" They said. 

"Don't get into trouble!" Daniel shouted. 

I turned around to face them.

"I'll try not to," I said. 

"Don't embarrass us," Max said. 

"Says the guy who walked downstairs without pants on!" I shouted back. 

"Touche," Max said. 

I laughed and walked away. 

I walked to my locker, to find Austin waiting for me. 

"Hey, Beautiful," Austin said. 

"Hey, Pumpkin," I said. 

We laughed. 

"So, does anyone know that we're dating now?" I asked. 

"I think so," he said. 

"Okay," I nodded. 

"I gotta go to class, but I'll see you at lunch, okay?" He asked. 

"Alrig- wait! Since when do you go to class? Don't you usually skip?" 

"Yeah, but I'm late for skateboarding at the park." He said. 

"Oh okay," I said. "Love you, bye."

"Love you too, bye." He said as he walked away. 

I grabbed my physics notebook and walked to class.

I sat in a seat towards the back. 

Rinnnnnng!

Good, I'm just time!

I put my notebook on the desk. And I put my pen on the desk next to the notebook. 

But, of course, the pen just had to roll off of the desk, and onto the floor. 

Right, as I was about to pick up the pen, someone else did. "Hey, I think you dropped this," a voice said. 

I looked up to meet the person who helped me. 

My eyes met a boy. A very, very, cute boy. He had beautiful blue orbs, blonde hair, and he was taller than me. He looked pretty muscular. 

"Thanks," I said. 

He handed me the pen. "No problem." 

I took the pen from him and I made sure to place it inside the desk this time, but I wouldn't mind if it rolled off the desk again just to give me another excuse to look at this boy. 

"I'm Hayden." He said, while holding his hand out for me to shake. 

"I'm Ellie," I introduced myself while holding out my hand as well.

We shook hands. 

"How old are you? Because you're pretty cute." He said. 

Wow. This guy is nice. 

"I'm 14," I said. 

"Oh, wow. I'm 17, I'm a senior," Hayden said. 

I nodded. 

"Class is starting, so please take your seats," Mrs. Harrison said. 

We took our seats. 

I didn't know that seniors were in my physics class. 

- About an hour later - 

The class finally finished. 

I was just packing up my stuff when someone tapped my shoulder. 

I looked up to see Hayden.

"Hey," he said. 

"Hi," I said. 

I noticed that no one else was in the room. 

I guess Mrs. Harrison was on her little break before the next class. 

"Are you going to the party tonight?" He asked. 

"Yeah, are you?" I asked. 

"Yep," he said. 

"Well, I gotta go to my next class, but maybe we'll see each other there." 

"Okay, see you later, bye," I said. 

"Bye." 

Then, he walked out of the classroom. 

I finished getting my stuff and then I walked to my locker. I grabbed my math textbook and then went to math. 

I sat down towards the back, again. 

Well, here we go... 

- About an hour later - 

Yes! It's lunchtime. 

I grabbed my stuff and walked to my locker. Then, I placed my stuff into my locker and grabbed some money. 

Then, I walked into the cafeteria. 

I saw Anna, and Zach sitting together. Then, I looked around the cafeteria and I saw Austin sitting at the 'popular' table. 

I walked over to where Anna and Zach were. 

"Hey, guys," I said. 

"Hey, wassup?" Zach asked. 

"Nothing much, how about you?" 

"Nothing really," Zach said. 

"Yeah, just talking. Well, let's go get some food!" Anna said. 

We all nodded and walked to the lunch line. We grabbed trays. I got a salad, so did Zach. Anna got a cheeseburger. 

We paid for our food and then went back to our table. 

- After lunch - 

Alright, I just have three more classes, I can get through it.

I'm walking through the hallway, trying to navigate myself to my locker, but I can't seem to find it considering how tall people are, compared to me. 

I felt something heavy against my back. 

Then, the next thing I knew, I was on the ground. 

Someone pushed me. 

I looked up to see who pushed me. 

There was a boy. 

He had brown hair that was in a quiff and he had grey eyes. 

He was wearing a black T-shirt, black ripped skinny jeans, and black boots. 

To be honest, he was pretty cute.

Oh my gosh! How many cute boys am I going to see today? 

He looks down at me. "You're Ellie Beckett, right?" He asked. 

"Yeah, why?" 

"I'm one of Austin's friends. At lunch, he was telling us about you, he must really like you," he said. 

I'm confused. 

"I just don't understand why he likes you. I mean, look at you." 

People started gathering around us. 

"You're pathetic. You don't deserve to be Austin's girl. He deserves a lot better, and if he's dating you he's not getting much at all," the boy continued. 

Again, the teardrops were forming in my eyes. 

"You're only dating Austin to be popular." 

"No, I'm not!" 

"Oh really? Little miss suicide." 

Everyone gasped. 

How? How did he find out?

Austin! Did Austin tell him? 

I want my blade back.

Well, now my secret is out...

What am I supposed to do now?

I did the only thing I could think of, I stood up and ran. I ran as fast as I could. I ran out of the hallway, I ran out of the doors, I ran out of the school. 

I ran to a bus stop. I continued crying. 

The bus arrived a few minutes later. I took some money out of my pocket and handed it to the driver. She nodded. 

I decided to sit in a seat towards the back. 

I don't know where I'm going yet, but hopefully, it's somewhere far from here.
