"Anna, I'm ready to tell you the truth..." 

She nodded. 

We walked upstairs, and we went into my bedroom. 

"I used to get bullied and abused by my brothers. Max had depression when he was younger and he would hurt my brothers and so they agreed to hurt me because they didn't want to get hurt again. Basically, before you, I had no friends. My parents don't care about me, and my brothers would hurt me a lot. I would run away, and cut myself. My brothers finally stopped after the other day, when I talked to them about it." I explained. 

She had a look of...sadness plastered on her face. 

"But, that's in my past. Yes, it still bothers me, quite a lot. And I can't stop thinking about it. But, I'll be fine. I have PTSD from it. That's the one thing my brothers don't know. I don't really want them to know that they gave me PTSD." I said. "Oh, and one more thing. Please don't tell anyone, about any of this. You and Zach are the only ones that know." I said. 

She nodded. "I promise." She said. 

"Thanks." I said. 

"Of course. And, Ellie, I'm sorry." She said. 

"It's okay." I said. "Can we just change the subject please?" 

"Sure. Hmm..." Anna began. "Oh! Jack is cute. I kinda like him..." 

"Seriously?" I asked. "You what!?" 

"Yeah! I mean, his beautiful blonde hair and his crystal blue eyes. How could he not be cute?" 

"I don't know. I guess I've never had a friend who liked my brother. Well, I've also never had a friend...so, I guess that explains—" I said, but I got interrupted by a crack. 

"What was that!?" Anna jumped. 

"I don't know," I said. 

We looked around the room. The noise sounded close by. 

"Ahhh!" She screamed. 

"What, what is it?" 

"Look!" She said, and she pointed to the window. It had cracked eggs all over it. 

I looked out the window no one was there. 

"Ugh!" I said. "Let's, just ignore it. I'll clean it up later."

She nodded. We sat back down on the bed. 

Several minutes had passed and we just continued talking. 

"Ahhh!" She screamed again. 

"What! What is it, now?" I asked. 

Every time, she screams it startles me. 

But, this time she looked so scared. She didn't say anything. She just pointed to the window again. 

"Ahhhhhhh!" I screamed. 

It was a clown. 

Kinda like, what happened in the movie when I was at Zach's house. 

Zach...

Zach. 

Right...Zach. 

Okay, I could either continue thinking about a boy who is most liking my ex now. Or, I could deal with the clown that is right outside my bedroom window. 

I think I'll pick....clown. 

We continued screaming. As loud as we could. That's all we could do. We were hoping it scare away the clown...but, nope! 

It didn't do anything. 

"Ahhhhh!" We screamed louder. 

Like, a bloody murder scream. 

I think I could go deaf from my own screaming. 

Soon enough, my bedroom door flung open. And my brothers ran in. Yes, all of them. All four. 

"Girls, what happened?" Noah asked. 

"Why all the screaming?" Jack asked.

We were speechless. 

"W-w-window........now, y-your.... here, clown!" I said. 

But, I don't think any of my brothers understood what I was saying. Because they all gave me confused looks. So, I just pointed to the window. 

"What?" Noah asked. 

"There's a clown." I said, while still looking at my brothers. 

"Ellie, there's nothing there." Daniel said, pointing to the window. 

"Yes there is! There's a freaky clown standing right the— oh. Well, where'd it go?" I asked. 

When I turned my head, the clown was gone. 

What!?

"I swear there was a clown." I said. 

"You're crazy," Max said.

"She's not crazy, I saw it too." Anna said, turning around to look at my brothers. 

"Can Anna sleep over tonight? I'm scared." I said. 

"Fine." Max said. 

Anna and I smiled. 

"I'll text my mom, and let her know!" Anna said, while taking out her phone. She sent a text and quickly got a reply. 

"Alright, were good! And my mom will stop by later to drop my stuff off." She continued. 

"Okay," I said. "But, I'm seriously telling the truth about the clown. Anna and I saw it! We swear!" 

"You better not be swearing," Noah said. 

I rolled my eyes. 

"I'm hungry," I said. "Me too!" Anna said. 

Then, we walked right past the boys and walked downstairs. 

We went into the kitchen and grabbed some snacks. 

Jack came downstairs. 

Anna looked nervous and shy. 

Aww! She really does have a crush on Jack!

"Hey, Jack." She said. 

"Hey, Anna." He said. 

"Jack, I think your cute," she blurted out. 

"I think your cute too," he said, looking at her. 

I feel kind of like a third wheel. 

Jack grabbed a bottle of water and then went back upstairs. Boys. 

Well, that was awkward. 

"Well, that wasn't bad." I said. 

We both laughed. 

"It's okay. There's plenty other fish in the sea. Plus, I don't know how you'd feel about me having a crush on your brother." She said. 

"Yeah..." I said. 

We smiled. 

Anna is so fun to be around.
