The rest of the school day, I tried to talk to Zach. He wouldn't listen. 

So, I gave up. I'll try again later. 

Right now, school's over. 

Anna's getting her stuff and then my brothers will drive us home. 

I told Anna I'd meet her in front of the school. 

But, I have to go to bathroom really badly. I've only went like once or twice today. 

She won't mind...right?

I don't have time for this...I need to go to the bathroom.

We're not allowed to run in the halls, so I decided to speed walk...it was my best option. 

The hallways were mostly empty. Except for some people here and there. 

Right when I was about to go into the bathroom, I felt a hand on my shoulder. 

"Hey, nerd," he said. 

Yep, just who I suspected...Austin. 

I turned around. I decided not to say 'Don't call me that!' Because I know what he would say: 'I can call you anything I want.'  That's exactly what my brothers said to me when they called me mean names and bullied me. 

"Hey, try hard," I said. 

He narrowed his eyes at me. 

"Embarrassing Ellie," he said. Then, he smiled. 

"Arrogant Austin," I said. 

He rolled his eyes. 

"What do you want?" I asked. 

"You." He whispered in my ear. 

But, I could tell he was just joking.

"Not happening, leave." 

"Nope. You're not getting rid of me that easily," he said. 

I started to walk away. 

But, he grabbed my arm. Really tightly. 

"Let go of my arm," I said. 

"Not until you say sorry."

"No." 

"Fine, you had your chance. Now, I'll make you're life living hell!" He said. 

"You already embarrassed me at lunch by pouring water on me, and now Zach hates me. And in English you copied off of me." I said. 

He chuckled. 

"Oh, you'll see what I'm gonna do. Just you wait, Ellie. Just, you wait." He said, while he began to walk away. 

"Oh, and by the way," he began to say, while turning around to look at me. "Sleep with one eye open." He said. 

His words made me flinch. 

He chuckled and then walked away. 

I rolled my eyes and then walked into the bathroom. I did my business and then speed walked to the front of the school. 

I saw Anna. "Hey, where were you?" She asked. "Hey, I was about to go to the bathroom, until Austin was there." I said. "He was in the girls bathroom?" She asked. "Oops, Nope. Not what I meant. I meant that he grabbed my arm before I could go into the bathroom. And now he said that he's going to make my life living hell and that I should sleep with one eye open." I said. 

Anna could see the worry in my eyes. "It's going to be okay." She said. 

"Yeah, yeah. Totally." I said. 

"Come on, guys!" Noah said. 

I nodded. We started walking towards the car. 

I looked back at the school one more time, and I saw Austin looking through the window...at me. I rolled my eyes and then turned around and continued walking with Anna to the car. 

We finally got in the car. Anna sat in the very back of the car, because my brothers basically took up the entire car. I don't know why that caused me to laugh. But, it did. 

About 10 minutes later, we arrived back at our house. We got out of the car, and walked inside. I gave Anna the tour and then we sat down in the living room. I still don't understand why people call it a 'living room.'

Whatever. 

"So, what do you want to do now?" I asked her. 

"Well, I didn't officially get to meet your brothers." She said. 

"Okay, follow me." I said. 

We both got up and walked over to the kitchen. 

"Guys, I would like to officially introduce you to my friend, Anna." I said. 

"Hey, Anna." Jack said. 

"Hey," Max said. 

"Sup," Daniel said. 

"Hi," Noah said. "I'm the normal one." Noah whispered to Anna and I. 

Anna laughed. Noah smiled. 

"So, this is Noah." I said, pointing to Noah. He smiled at Anna. 

"That is Max," I said, pointing to Max. 

"That is Daniel," I said, pointing to Daniel. 

"And that's Jack," I said, pointing to Jack. 

Anna smiled at him. Jack smiled back. 

Weird. 

"Cool. Well, I'm Anna. Well, Ellie already said that. Uh, yeah. Ellie, can you tell me more about you. And maybe about your childhood, like what fun things have you done?" She said. 

My heart dropped. And so did my smile. 

I looked at my brothers. They frowned. 

"What's wrong?" She asked. 

"Do you mind if I talk to my brothers for a second?" I asked her. I didn't want to be rude. 

"Of course, yeah. I need some fresh air anyways. I'll be on the porch." She said. 

I nodded. 

I waited for her to exit the house before I say what I'm about to say. 

"Are you guys okay with it if I tell Anna about... you know? My childhood." I said. 

They nodded.

 "Yeah, it's your choice wether or not you want to tell her." Noah said. 

"Okay, thanks." I said. 

"ANNA, YOU CAN COME BACK INSIDE!!" I yelled. 

My brothers covered their ears. I laughed. 

I could tell it worked because she came running inside. 

We all laughed. 

"Anna, I'm ready to tell you the truth..."
