- Friday Morning - 

Beep. Beep. Beep. 

"Ughhhh!"

I turned my alarm off. 

I rolled out of bed. Literally! Like, I physically rolled myself out of bed. 

Then, I got dressed. My cut finally healed, it still left a scar but I think I'll be okay. 

I went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth. Then, I got my hairbrush and brushed my hair. 

I grabbed my backpack and then walked downstairs. 

"Hey, brothers!" 

"Hey, Ellie!" Jack said. 

"Yo!" Noah said. I laughed. 

"What's for breakfast?" I asked. 

"I made... drumroll please." Max said. 

We put our hands on the table and drum rolled. 

"Cereal!" He shouted. 

I pouted. "That's it?" I asked. 

"Yep. I can't cook..." Max admitted. 

Then, we all laughed including Max. 

"Im good. I think I'll just stick to a protein bar, thanks though." I said. 

"Suit yourself." 

I ate my protein bar, pretty quickly. 

"Let me guess, mom and dad left already?" I asked. 

"Yep." Noah said. We all sighed. 

"We'll talk to them after school, okay?" Daniel said. I nodded. 

"Alright, time for school." Jack said. 

We all grabbed our things and went into the car. Noah was driving so he sat in the drivers seat. Max sat in the passengers seat. I sat between Jack and Daniel in the back. 

"You guys aren't gonna drive half way there and then tell me to walk the rest, are you?" I asked, nervously. 

"No, we won't." Noah said. 

"Thanks." I said.

 "Of course, your our sister. And we need to treat you like it." Max said. 

I smiled. 

The rest of the drive, we all just talked. 

Then, we finally arrived at school. I noticed Zach, waiting for me. 

"Zach," I mumbled to myself. When I said his name I was blushing. 

My brothers noticed. They all looked at me. 

"Listen, if Zach does anything to you, tell us, immediately. Okay?" Noah said. I nodded. 

"Wait, are you guys gonna tell mom and dad that I have a boyfriend?" I asked. 

"No, unless you give us a reason to. Okay? So, don't get into trouble." Max said. 

"Okay. I won't." I said. 

"Okay," Daniel said. 

Noah parked the car in the parking lot. 

"Thanks, for driving, Noah." I said. 

"You're welcome," he said. 

We all got out of the car, and walked together. 

I saw Zach again.

 "Can I go?" I asked.

 "Sure, have fun, kiddo!" Max yelled. I heard the boys laugh. 

"Bye, guys! See you after school." I said and then I ran towards Zach. 

"Bye." They said. 

I gave Zach a big hug. He hugged me back. 

"Hey, baby. I missed you!" He said. 

"I missed you too!" I said. He smiled. 

"We should get to class." He said. 

I nodded. 

We walked to class. 

- Lunch time - 

I just walked to my locker. 

Someone was walking in my direction. A boy. 

It's okay, he won't bump into me. He'll move around. 

But, I was wrong. 

He bumped into me and continued walking. He didn't even apologize. 

"Dimwit!" I said. 

He turned around and looked at me. 

I quickly faced the other direction and started walking away. 

The hallway was basically empty. So, I thought. 

Until, I got slammed into a locker. I looked up to meet the eyes of whoever just slammed me into a locker. 

I looked up. It was the same boy that bumped into me. 

Angry brown eyes looked into my blue eyes.

"Get off!" 

"No." He had an accent. It was pretty cute. 

"What do you want?"

"An apology." He said. 

"An apology? For what?" I asked. "If anyone deserves an apology, it's me!" 

"What for?" He asked in his cute accent. 

"You freaking bumped into me, and then kept walking. If anyone deserves an apology it's me!" I said. 

He chuckled and then leaned closer to me, so our noses were almost touching. 

He smiled. "I'll give you one chance to apologize for calling me a dimwit," he said. 

Is this guy for real?

"No." I said. 

I'm not apologizing to him!

"Fine, have it that way. I'll make your life hell!" He said. 

"It already is." I muttered. 

"Then, I'll make it worse," He said. 

Then, he took out his phone and took a picture of us, with our noses touching. Then, he showed it to me. 

"I know you have a boyfriend...how would he feel if he saw this photo?" He said, while smirking. 

My jaw dropped. 

"You wouldn't dare."

"Try me," he said. 

I tried to grab his phone out of his hand, but failed. He quickly pinned my arms against the locker. 

"See you at lunch, loser!" He said and walked away. 

I walked into the cafeteria. 

I saw Zach and walked over to him. "Hey, where were you?" He asked. 

"I..." I began, but I was interrupted by a different voice. 

"She was with me." A girl said. 

I had a confused look on my face. 

"Oh okay, what's your name?" Zach asked. 

"I'm Anna. What's your name?" Anna asked. 

"I'm Zach." 

"Nice to meet you, Zach." 

"Nice to meet you too, Anna." 

"Hey, can I talk to you for a second?" Anna said while looking at me. 

"Sure." I replied. 

We walked over to a corner in the cafeteria. "First of all, what's your name?" She asked. "Ellie." I said.  "Okay, Ellie, you're probably wondering why I helped you. The reason is because, I saw Austin pin you against the lockers. He's bad news, Ellie. Like, really bad news. He's the bad boy at this school. I know we barely met, but I don't like seeing people get hurt. Okay? So be careful. I just wanted to warn you." She said. 

"Thanks, Anna." I said. 

I'm glad that she came over and told me. I don't know what I would do if Austin made my life worse than it already is. 

"No problem!" She said. 

"And just so you know, I won't tell Zach about what I saw. I know that Austin took that photo of you guys, with your noses touching. But, if anything happens, I'm here. Zach is here. Okay? We got your back." She reassured me. 

"Thank you, again, Anna." I said. 

She's so nice. 

"Of course." She said. 

"Do you maybe, want to be friends?" She asked. 

My smile grew bigger. 

"I'd love to." I said. 

"Awesome!" She replied. 

"Do you want to come over after school?" I asked. 

"Sure, I don't have any plans after school for today, so sure! Why not?" 

We both smiled. 

"Well, well, well, if it isn't little Ellie." A new voice said. 

I recognize that voice. 

I turned around. I saw Austin...with two of his friends. How have I never recognized them?

"Hello, girls!" Austin said. 

"Back off, Boston!" Anna said. 

We both laughed. 

"You think that's funny?" Boston asked. (I just had to.)

"Yeah, we do. Do you have a problem with that?" I asked. 

"Yeah, actually, I do." He said. 

I rolled my eyes. In my head I could hear my brothers saying: We don't take that type of disrespect!

Ugh! 

Anna and I ignored Austin and walked up to the front of the cafeteria. We picked up trays and then went through the lunch line. I got spaghetti, and so did Anna. Zach bought a salad. 

He said he needed to get his water bottle out of his locker. Anna and I nodded. Zach walked out of the cafeteria. 

Anna and I sat down and began eating our lunch. 

Until, I felt a warm hand on my shoulder. 

I instantly knew it was Austin. 

I looked up at him. He opened a bottle of water and poured it on my head. My jaw dropped.

And of course, my brothers had to walk in right when Austin poured water on me. 

 "Are you kidding me?" Anna said. 

"Wow, Austin. So, childish." I said. He rolled his eyes. 

Without thinking, I picked up my tray and dumped my spaghetti all over Austin's shirt. 

I looked over at my brothers, they watched in amusement. To be honest, I don't blame them. I'm guessing most brothers, would do the same. 

Austin looked pissed. 

Then, Austin noticed that Zach had just walked into the cafeteria. 

"I can't wait for Zach to finally meet me." He said. Then, he kissed me. 

I tried pulling away, but he didn't let me. 

So, I'm guessing it looked like I wanted to kiss him. 

Austin had one of his hands on my cheek, and the other hand was on my waist. 

I finally managed to pull away. 

"Austin! Stop!" I yelled. 

He was smirking. 

When, I looked at Zach, he was frowning. He looked so upset. He shook his head and then walked out of the cafeteria.
