Noah, Daniel and I walked into the house. Jack, and Max were sitting in the living room. 

"Hey, guys can I talk to all of you for a minute please?" I asked. 

"I guess," Jack said. 

"Sure," Max said. 

"Okay," Noah said. 

I turned to Daniel. He nodded and then said "You got this." 

I nodded and smiled. 

Everyone walked into the living room and sat down. 

"Okay, so today while I was in the hospital, Daniel told me about how Max has depression and when you guys were younger that you hurt me because you didn't want Max to hurt you guys again. Is that correct, so far?" I said. 

"Yeah," Max said. He sighed. 

Everyone else nodded. 

Everyone else, meaning my brothers. 

"But, if you guys didn't like the way that Max was treating me, then why didn't you guys talk to him about it?" I asked. 

"I mean, I guess we were just...cowards." Noah added. 

I nodded. "Yeah, you were," I said. 

The boys put their heads down. 

"Listen, you guys are my brothers. I'm not going to turn my back on you guys, like you did to me. But, I love you guys because we're family. No matter how bad you guys ruin my life, I will always love you because your my brothers." I said. 

Some of those words hurt to get out. But, it needed to be said. 

They all looked so sad. 

Did Daniel really mean it when he said that they all care about me?

"I know we ruined your life. We hurt you, both physically and mentally. But, El you need to understand that we've been through a lot too. But, we're so sorry. We won't hurt you again. Right, boys?" Noah said, while looking at my other brothers. 

"Yeah," Jack said. "Promise." He continued. 

"I promise." Daniel said. 

"I promise." Noah said. 

We all looked at Max. "I promise." He said. "But, let me say something." 

We all nodded for him to continue. 

"Ellie, I'm sorry for how much pain I've caused you. I never wanted to hurt anyone, especially my family. I guess, depression got the best of me and took the real me away. I never meant to hurt any of you. I'm sorry." Max said. 

I took a moment, to think. 

Everybody makes mistakes. Sometimes more than others. But, we're family. I can't just not forgive my brothers. I let depression take over me too, I got so caught up thinking no one cared, when deep down, they did. This whole time, they did. 

"Okay." I said. 

We all smiled. 

"Group hug!" Jack yelled. 

Then, we all hugged. 

Jack accidentally fell backwards, which caused all of us to fall onto the floor. 

We all burst into laughter. 

"I love times like this!" I said. 

"Same," Daniel said. 

"Me too, little sister." Max said. 

Jack just continued laughing. 

"I love you guys!" Noah shouted. 

"I love you guys too!" I shouted. 

"I love you all!" Jack shouted. 

"I love you guys!" Daniel shouted. 

Eventually, we all got up. 

We watched a movie and had popcorn. 

My dad were on their way back home. 

I'll talk to them tomorrow.

I'm getting tired.

"You guys, I'm getting tired. I think I'm just going to go to sleep," I said. 

"Okay," Jack said. 

Max nodded his head. 

"Alright, Goodnight," Noah said. 

"Good night, guys!" I said. 

"Good night," Max said. 

"Good Night, El," Jack said. 

"Come on, Ellie. I'll help tuck you in." Daniel said. 

"Okay," I said. 

He walked with me upstairs. 

I brushed my teeth.  

"I have to change, do you mind waiting in the hallway?" I asked.

"I don't mind at all. Let me know when your done, okay?" 

"Okay," 

I put on my pajamas. 

"Danny, I'm ready!" 

He walked in, and shut the door behind him. 

"Thank you for today, Danny. I needed it. I'm glad we're a happy family again." I paused. "Except for, mom and dad." 

"We'll talk to them, don't worry. Okay? You just get some sleep  and we'll talk in the morning, okay?" He said. 

He calmed me. 

"Okay." I said. He tucked me in and shut the light off. 

"Alright, good night, princess. Love you!" He said. 

"Love you too!" 

And with that, he walked out of my bedroom and shut the door behind him. 

He's a good brother. 

I know, he didn't use to be. But, they explained everything. And they're my brothers...so, I forgive them.
