EXO x BTS

"Like I said, this place has the best coffee than the shit they have on campus!" Jimin beamed, skipping his way over to the small cafe located down a small narrow street filled with clothing boutiques and small bakeries.

"How did you manage to find this place? Did you chase a loan shark down here before killing him?" Jeongguk muttered in an unimpressed tone. He dragged his feet down the road tiredly, becoming more exhausted at the older male's cheerful mood.

"I did not!" The, now black haired, male responded with a pout. "My friend works here. He suggested this place once when we skipped class and this has become my favorite place to fetch coffee."

"You mean you have a friend other than us?" The younger responded with a teasing tone, referring to their gang. Jimin flashed a glare before pulling the cafe door open.

"I'm not all bad like somebody," he groaned, but his frustration dissipated as he heard a cheerful call from inside. "Jiminie!"

"Taehyungie!"

Jeongguk scrunched his face in distaste at the unfamiliar names. He stood silently at the entrance, observing the Taehyungie guy who stood behind the counter, hair bright red and an odd rectangular smile taking up majority of his face. Strange, he thought.

"Do you want the usual?" The red hair male asked as he grabbed the clear plastic cups stacked near the register.

"Yup, oh! And this is my friend. Jeon Jeongguk." Jimin introduced as he flagged over the other who casually strolled over to the two. "He's paying."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Taeh--"

"I'll take whatever Jimin's having." Jeongguk interrupted, throwing down twenty thousand won before finding himself a table seated near the window. Taehyung frowned at Jimin who shrugged. "He's the cold, heartless asshole I told you about."

Taehyung nodded in understanding, inputting the order before returning the change.

"Keep it. He's rich anyways so it doesn't matter." Jimin stated, grabbing the money and putting it into the tip jar.

"Jimin-ah!" The younger called from the table, waving his phone. "Its here."

The black haired male groaned, excusing himself while Taehyung proceeded to make the drinks. Jimin took a seat across from Jeongguk who showed him the message. "New mission. Tonight at midnight."

"But we just got back!" The older complained, slamming his head on the table. "I'm tired."

"You say that all the time," Jeongguk rolled his eyes at the over exaggerated show Jimin was displaying as he whined in his seat. "My father said he's paying us double since it's suppose to be a difficult mission. We'll need everyone."

"We're flipping a coin to see who gets Hoseok hyung as a partner because it sure as hell won't be me again. All he does is scream in terror. Actually, he's always screaming in terror."

Before Jeongguk could reply, Taehyung plopped on a chair beside Jimin, placing the order on the table. "Two vanilla lattes, honey bread, and a smile!" He spoke, displaying a smile at the end of his sentence.

"You interrupted our conversation," the younger responded coldly.

"Funny, everyone says that." Taehyung chuckled as he took a bite of the honey bread. "Ah, so good. Have you ever had any?"

"No."

"Well, you should try some." Taehyung used his fingers to break of a piece of the bread that was coated with whipped cream. "Say ah!"

Jeongguk swat the bread away from his face and the older male yelped, grabbing the fallen piece and blowing it off before popping it into his mouth. "Yah! If you didn't want you could have just said so!"

Jimin bit his bottom lip as he relaxed into his seat and drank his coffee. He watched in amusement as Jeongguk leaned closer to Taehyung who pouted innocently.

"Do you know who I am?"

"Jimin told me you're a cold heartless asshole." The older shrugged while the other panicked.

"No I didn't!" Jimin shouted in opposition when Jeongguk shot his attention towards the black haired male. "I never said that. Taehyung can be clueless at times. He probably misheard me."

"I am not!" Taehyung defended. Jeongguk shrugged the insult off, deciding to take care of Jimin later.

"What I mean is, do you know what I do?"

"Other than swat honey bread from people's hands?" He responded while stuffing another piece into his mouth. "You should really try some. It's good."

Jeongguk pushed the plate away and Jimin happily grabbed the desert, eating it while he watched Taehyung gulp at the sudden closeness when Jeongguk closed the gap between them.

"I kill people."

"Me too!" Taehyung giggled. He flicked the younger's forehead, catching Jeongguk off guard as he backed away from the other in disbelief.

"What?"

"I'm very good at it actually, but I'm not so good at escaping from the cops. I always get caught then I have to start all over again."

Jeongguk gave Jimin a questionable look but he only kept giggling while stuffing his face with more of the honey bread. The younger male watched Taehyung, who was currently fighting with Jimin now for another bite, as if trying to read him but he couldn't quite understand him.

He didn't look like a killer, but he didn't seem all too innocent either. It was almost as if the boy had no shame or care in the world, especially with that fiery red hair and casual personality.

"If you keep staring at me, you might fall for me." Taehyung suddenly spoke, a small smirk displayed on his lips. Jeongguk sat back in his seat, grabbing his coffee and sipping it once.

"I'm not interested in guys." Jeongguk deadpanned. "And most definitely not you."

"That's too bad." Taehyung chuckled. "I think you're really hot."

"Okay!" Jimin shouted at the uncomfortable atmosphere. "Taehyung, more customers are here. Why don't you go bother them, yes?"

"Okay," Taehyung chirped as he rushed over to take the other customers orders. Jeongguk continued to watch the older male as he worked with the other people then later ran over to converse with more people on the other tables.

"Does he really kill people?" Jeongguk asked.

"I honestly don't know what he does half the time." Jimin answered without much thought.

"He's your roommate, isn't he?"

"Are we going to continue talking about my best friend or can we return to the mission?" Jimin huffed, grabbing Jeongguk's cellphone out of his hands. The younger sat silently, and maybe stole glances at Taehyung each chance he got.

"What the actual fuck are you guys doing?"

"And the fuck are you wearing?"

"We made a distraction." Jhope spoke up. Jimin laughed loudly behind the mask as he stood beside his hyung.

"You set the people on fire alive!" Jin screeched at the, now dead, bodies on the ground.

Jeongguk rolled his eyes as he continued down into the warehouse while the members continued to silently judge the two as they walked by. Jimin quickly defended himself, stating, "It was Jhope's idea."

"Well it worked! Didn't it?!"

"Take off those stupid masks, stupids." Suga muttered as he tossed them a set guns. "And setting things on fire is my thing."

The members continued into the dark abandoned warehouse. They stayed absolutely silent, afraid to give away their position. Jeongguk split the group in pairs, taking Jimin with him as a partner.

Jeongguk took the lead. He kept his gun in front of him as he listened to everything around him. In the corner of his eyes, he saw some sort of movement, and quietly motioned for Jimin to remain still. Jeongguk approached a rustic table and in one swift move with his knife, he reached over and slit the man's neck.

"How the fuck did you see him?"

Jeonnguk smiled back at his partner, tucking the man's gun into his back pocket. "Don't you know? I'm the golden maknae."

"You're lucky he didn't shoot his gun or we'll be—" A loud crash suddenly echoed throughout the warehouse, followed by an eruption of gun shots.

People began firing from above and Jeongguk and Jimin dashed behind the table, toppling over some of the platform woods so that it fell over them, using it as a barricade from the shooters above.

"Shit, I've been shot." Jimin hissed as he examined his bleeding arm. "What the hell was that? There's like twenty men in this one room. How many people are here?"

"Can you still shoot?" Jeongguk asked worriedly, still shooting off men who tried to approach, watching as they dropped dead one by one.

"I don't think so. They shot my good arm."

"Fuck, I'm calling back up."

Jimin nodded in agreement as he kept watch for anyone who began closing in on them. When Jeongguk ended his call, he finished shooting off the people before deciding they need to run back to the meeting area.

"But my arm is shot."

"You don't use your fucking arm Jimin. Get your ass up and run!" Jeongguk ordered. When he saw the opportunity, the two dashed out from their hiding spot and ran down the hallway.

"Jeongguk-ah! Over here!" Rap Monster called over from behind a door leading to an enclosed room. The two ran in the direction and looked at all the dead bodies on the ground. Once inside, Jin rushed over to aid Jimin. "My poor baby!"

The group reunited in the room, most out of breath and reloading their guns. "So what caused this mess and where is Suga?"

"Well firstly," Jin began, eyeing out the male who stood silently in the corner of the room. "Rap Monster wasn't paying attention and accidentally tripped on something and then all these boxes started to fall and people began shooting at us."

"Why do you destroy everything around you?"

"Did you not see those dead bodies outside? You're welcome." Rap Monster defended.

"Suga is roaming the warehouse, planting the explosions for when the time is ready. There's like over a hundred men. How are we so sure that their leader is still here?" Jhope questioned.

"The leader never leaves until their enemies are dead, and that's us." Jeongguk informed. "And don't worry, I called a friend."

"You mean..."

Jeongguk smirked when a flash of headlights casted across the window of the warehouse, looking out to see the row of cars. "Them."

"Did someone call for backup?"

Suho entered with a confident demeanor. Not only was his gang following his lead, but so were a hundred of other men. "I hope you don't mind that I brought some friends along."

Jeongguk's members had already began fighting the enemies so the younger stepped out of the way to allow Suho's team to enter. Gun shots sounded throughout the warehouse and men fell to their knees from all directions.

Jeongguk was currently beating a man for information when he heard his name being called out. Taking his gun out and shooting the man in the head, he glanced back and saw Sehun standing still in the crowd of the men.

He followed Sehun's gaze towards the stairs. A smaller group encircled around someone as they ran to the second floor. Jeongguk nodded in acknowledgment before wiggling his way through the crowd, slitting throats of people who got too close.

"Jhope, Jimin. Distraction, now." Jeongguk called as he ran up the stairs. "Rap Mon, come with me."

"Yes! I've always wanted to try this." Jhope cheered as he pulled out an object from his bag.

"What the hell are you doing hyung?" Jimin questioned as he watched Jhope cover his face with another unordinary mask.

"Distraction."

"Yeah, oh yeah. How do you like me now? You like that? Take that!" Jhope mocked as he swirled the smoke around in the air. Jin helped the EXO group exit from the warehouse, becoming aware of the plan.

"Give me that, you idiot!" Jimin shouted and snatched it from his hands, tossing it and a couple more onto the ground.

The cans released green smoke that filled throughout the area. Jimin scrunched his nose, "Is this like a fart bomb?"

"Sorry, that was me. I fart when I'm scared." Jhope frowned, later being shoved up the stairs to escape the gas. Jimin pulled out the walkie-talkie as he changed to the right channel. "Hyung! Now!"

Suga, getting the okay from the other side, pressed the button, triggering the bombs he placed throughout the building.

Jeongguk and Rap Monster sprinted after the small group. The floors shook due to the explosions and the group glanced back, spotting the unwelcome visitors.

"You little shits!" A man sneered, only to be shot in the head by Jeongguk.

"Pardon?" Jeongguk laughed, shooting the others in the chest. Rap Monster caught hold of one of the unarmed men, holding him in a hold where he was unable to escape or move.

"Where is your leader?" He growled.

"You'll have to kill me first."

Jeongguk punched the man hard across his face, kneeling down to face the man. "I have no problem with that, if you hadn't noticed by now."

Rap Monster tightened his grip as the man struggled to catch his breath. "Ever been suffocated? It's a slow and painful death."

"Guys look out!" Jimin shouted. In a matter of seconds, Rap Monster snapped the neck of his victim and moved out of the way, meanwhile Jeongguk had already spotted the other person who's gun was pointed at them.

In one shot, Jeongguk shot the intruder who collapsed on the ground. The person gripped their stomach and the younger male strolled over to her with dark eyes.

"You're a girl?"

"And what?" She spat.

"You're the one who burned down my mansion?" Jeongguk interrogate with wonder. "The one whose been setting my dad's offices on fire, the one who killed the other gangs, you?"

She smirked at the confession. "So are you going to kill me?"

"Jeongguk you can't." Jimin interceded, grabbing onto the younger's shoulder. Jeongguk shrugged him off.

"Why? Because she's a girl?"

"Think about it. We can just take her to your dad and he can take care of it." Jimin suggested. "We don't have to kill her."

Jeongguk sighed, lowering the gun as the girl smiled at the suggestion. "You're right, we don't." But he lifted the gun, and moved closer to the girl, his smile reaching ear to ear, bloody fists clenching.

"The thing is, I want too."

The girl's lifeless body collapsed not the ground. Jimin frowned as he nudged his partner slightly. "She was pretty. Why'd you do that?"

"I'm a cold, heartless asshole. Remember?" Jeongguk mocked, tossing the gun. "Now let's get out of here before the whole place blows."

Jeongguk doesn't know why or how, but he found himself at the cafe Jimin had brought him to a last week. The gang were all busy catching up with their college homework and couldn't understand how Jeongguk was able to finish his work so quickly despite being the leader of the mafia group.

Jimin had to crash at Namjoon's place for the week since he was afraid of explaining the situation to Taehyung, stating that his friend likes to pester until he actually gets an answer, but Jeongguk believes that it's because Jimin wants the older to help him on his homework.

Jeongguk would be lying if he said he doesn't secretly hope that Taehyung is working, especially at this late hour. He's been wondering why he couldn't read the older male. Jeongguk prides himself in being able to understand people's action, but it seems with Taehyung, he can't guess what the other would do next.

It's almost midnight and Jeongguk is wondering why he hadn't taken the offer to try the honey bread before because now it's eating him alive.

Having to drive over to the cafe, he questions his decision as he enter the dark road, only selective stores are open but not many. When he arrives at the cafe, he's surprised that the cafe is not only open, but Taehyung's working.

Jeongguk enters the cafe and Taehyung breaks into such a wide smile, Jeongguk wonders if the male is always this happy. "If it isn't for the asshole."

Jeongguk is slightly taken back but his face remains emotionless as he approaches the counter. "I'll have the honey bread."

Taehyung nods and punches in the order before taking the cash. "I knew you'd come back. It's really good."

"You knew I'd come back?"

"Well sure!" the older male chuckled. "No one can resist me."

Jeongguk caught himself chuckling at the ridiculous statement before catching himself and clearing his throat. Taehyung frowned as he handed back the change. "It's okay to laugh Jeongguk-ssi."

The younger male directed the topic to something else as he looks around the cafe. "It's empty. When do you close?"

"We close at midnight so we don't usually get customers this late, which is why I was surprised to see you."

Jeongguk hummed in response. "I'll be over there." He replies as he sits at the table that he sat in last time.

When the order was done, Taehyung placed the honey bread on the table before turning to walk away. Jeongguk was once again caught of guard by the older's actions. He expected the other to join him like he did with Jimin, but he ends up doing the opposite.

"Aren't you going to join me?" Jeongguk asks uncertainly.

"I'm just grabbing another fork!" Taehyung laughs as he walks back to the counter. "I never thought of you as the type to ask someone to join him."

And that has Jeongguk thinking, just what in the world is he doing? How could this one person seem to break everything that Jeongguk has ever known. Why is he so unable to read this guy?

"So, were you serious about not being interested in guys?" Taehyung asks as he takes a seat across from the younger.

"Very," Jeongguk answers as he breaks off a piece and pops it into his mouth, eyes widening at the taste. Taehyung giggles at the reaction before pushing a bowl of ice cream in the middle of them.

"It taste a lot better with ice cream. You should try." And Jeongguk does, experiencing a whole new reality.

"So what about you?" Jeongguk asks between bites. "You're interested in guys?"

The older male nods. "I take what I can get." Jeongguk laughs at the response and Taehyung pouts slightly before kicking the other.

"Waeee?" He whines.

"You're just so casual about it. Your sexuality." Jeongguk answers, wiping his mouth with a napkin.

"I don't see why not." Taehyung replies with smile and the younger can only hum in response.

"So why do you work so late? You're a college student too, right?"

"Well yeah, but I need the money." Taehyung states. "I'm from Daegu so my family are far away and I feel bad for asking them. I just need to survive, just like any college student. And money isn't easy to come across."

They spend the rest of the time talking and while Taehyung finishes cleaning up the cafe, Jeongguk hangs back until he spots a dark figure standing not too far from the cafe, watching him.

"Excuse me," Jeongguk says as he stands from his seat, keeping an eye on the figure from the window.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asks.

"Just stay here. Lock the door."

And Jeongguk steps out of the cafe, taking his gun from his back pocket as he enters the empty street. "Who are you?!" He shouts.

"Jeongguk!" Taehyung shouts behind the glass door and the younger glances to the side as he sees another man rush into him, taking him down.

Taehyung starts panicking and rushes away to call the cops when Jeongguk shouts for him not too. He hesitates before running back to the door, jumping in place as he watches Jeongguk wrestle with the man.

"He's coming! The other guy is coming!" Taehyung screams when he sees the dark figure approaching.

The man Jeongguk is currently fighting with draws out his knife and his dangerously close to cutting the young male's throat when Taehyung makes the sudden decision to unlock the door and swing it open to knock the man over.

"Ah! I'm sorry!" He quickly apologizes, feeling slightly guilty.

Jeongguk doesn't dwell on it much as he attempts kicks the knife away. The man unfortunately got to the knife before he could and tackles the younger again, who restrains him from slicing his throat. "Taehyung! Grab the gun!"

"What? Are you crazy?"

"Grab the gun and shoot him!" Jeongguk shouts.

"There has to be another option." Taehyung is now crying as he grabs the gun on the ground. "How do I even hold this thing? This is nothing like the video game!"

"Shoot him Taehyung!" Jeongguk screams as he shoves the knife away, but the man continues to suffocate him. "Hurry!"

Taehyung shuts his eyes as he points the gun out in front of him.

"What? Are you insane? Open your eyes!" Jeongguk scolds, but the trigger has been pulled and the offender collapsed onto the younger male.

"Did I get him?" Taehyung asks as he opens his eyes, seeing the dead man on the side as Jeongguk stood up.

"I thought you said you kill people!"

"Video games Jeongguk! Video games. Like normal people!" Taehyung explains as he wipes his tears away from the shock. "Why was he trying to— ah!"

Taehyung collapsed and gripped his thigh, a bullet wound being the cause of the injury. Jeongguk snatches the gun away from the older as he looks up to shoot the guy, but the man was already spending away in a vehicle.

"Fuck!" He shouts in defeat, before grabbing the crying Taehyung on the ground. His heart sinks as he kneels down. "Taehyung, we have to go."

"It hurts! The people on the movies are liars! This fucking hurts!" Taehyung wails as he grips his leg. "Who the hell are you Jeongguk?!"

Jeongguk bites his lip as he scans the area, picking the older male up in his arms as he runs to his vehicle. "I'll explain later. We need to leave. There may be more people here."

He places Taehyung into the passenger seat of his vehicle until running over to his drivers side, stopping when he spots a note on his window. Grabbing the note, he gets inside his car and speeds away.

"Take me to a hospital!" Taehyung cries out.

"I can't do that," Jeongguk answers as he pulls over to the side of the crowded main roadway, knowing he's free from the enemies reach.

He takes off his plaid jacket and wraps it around Taehyung's leg, tying it off to stop the bleeding. "I'll take you to my friends house. He knows what to do."

"Who are you?" Taehyung questions with dreary eyes, weak due to the large amount of blood loss. Jeongguk doesn't answer as the older goes unconscious. He stares down at the crumpled note, teeth gritting against each other.

Jeongguk only smiles at the warning. "Come and get me, bitch."
