The spoon stopped right infront of my mouth and I looked at him with a weird look of confusion and shock. Kaden  was apparently feeding me some fried rice and his face showed how embarrassed he was but his eyes showed that he wanted to do it.

So I simply ate without creating any issues.

"I have to attend a meeting in Miami. And I want you to accompany me. "

My eyes went wide and suddenly I got excited. Being a girl who never went anywhere, I was so happy that Kaden was taking me to Miami with him.

So I suddenly jumped out of the bed and stood up at the opposite side of the bed , kaden alarmingly looked at me , my eyes were still wide while my left cheek bulged out with food in my  mouth, I could say that if I wasn't me , I'd laugh at my miserable state.

"When! What! How!"
I asked him excitedly.

"I've delayed it because you are not in the right state. So probably in 10 or 15 days."
He said while he looked at the corners of the room trying to hide the small curve that had lifted up on his lips.

As she started jumping around with giddiness, she didn't notice Kaden noticing her happiness. for him, going to Miami or traveling to any other place was like a daily soap that he got used to.
He felt his heart swell up at her little happiness, he felt that for the first time someone had been genuinely happy because of him, but he knew of the reason why he was taking her with him. Just an hour earlier he got to know that there was someone amongst the mafia who was a mole, and they knew what, where and when Kaden was out and away from the penthouse. He knew that this time if he left her alone, she was definitely getting killed. Kaden had sent kaison back , so as to not put him in more danger furthermore.

"Thank you ! "
She crashed into him , her arms wrapping around his torso and cheeks skin to skin on his chest.

He was surprised, more than that he was confused.

Confused by the fact that someone could get so happily easily, and surprised by the fact that it was neffré and she got happy for something he did.

Now it was her time to be surprised when she felt his warmth engulf her, his muscular arms firmly wrapped around her body and his face rested on her neck . The mild vanilla and coconut scent he loved, he inhaled much. Wanting to get engulfed by this scent of hers. His breathing became hotter and as he realized what he felt, suddenly his heartbeat picked a pace he never felt , a bright hue of red rising up his face. His throat became dry and his breathe fastened. While he felt all these weird feelings all at the same time , he was enjoying it altogether, he felt all angles of her. Her heart beating against his , her breasts pressed up against his solid chest, her sweet scent was making his brain feel like everything was peaceful , but his heart was beating at such a rate, his cheeks blushed at the thought of her knowing he was flustered, he knew he was getting hard but as soon as reality checked in, he immediately pulled away and tried to hide his face by  turning his face left to right. As usual he didn't wear a shirt when he was at home, his grey sweatpants hung low on his hips, the strong frame of this man was Godly, scars decorated his body but he decorated his scars with tattoos of skulls , roses , quotes, guns and bullets. While the dent in his sweat pants was so conspicuous, suddenly I felt that the room got so hot that my neck became wet with sweat. But as soon as I noticed his red face and labored breath and how he tried not to look at me, a smile stretched up on my lips and mischief entered my mind.

The phone was resting on the bedside table , and I rushed to grab it and turned the camera towards Kaden, while he stood there, not noticing the weapon in my hand , he was to flustered to even know. As soon as I clicked the button to record his reaction, the 'ping'  sound snapped him out of his daze and the next thing I did was to make a quick exist outside the room while making sure I was still turning around to film him and his red face.

" neffré get back here! Get back!"
Well this time even the mafia leader couldn't manage to catch me. As I ran out of the room and into the corridor, while laughing like maniac, and I stood for a second to film him . My blood raced to every part of my body as I felt the heat again and as I saw him running towards me with a determine face, I knew it was the queue for me to 'rush'.

I ran as fast as I could while still turning back to record him aswell, as I ran towards the living room connected with the kitchen I ran towards the kitchen isles and stood at the farthest corner . Kaden was quick to ran and he knew If he'd come for me I'd run around the isle and he'd follow like a dog.
So he chose the convincing way:
" neffré give that phone back to me. Stop messing around ! You're already hurt and you need rest! Give it back!"

He extended his hand in hopes that I'd give the phone back to him .

"No would do mister 'Cosa nostra.' "
His face almost showed how astonished he was by me speaking Italian , but his eyes turned darker as his widened eyes drooped slowly and his eyes showed lust.  While at his reaction I just laughed while holding the phone with both of my hands and I recorded him the whole time . I was too engaged in giggling when he suddenly ' pretended ' to run towards me from the left side of the isle in hopes of trying to csch me while I'm off-guard and I got into his traps as he swiftly jumped on the isles and slid across towards me and I had no place to go, so I just ran towards the sofa for protection but suddenly I got torn off from my path and I landed on the leather sofa with a squeak. At the beat , I had closed my eyes momentarily but my eyes struck wide when I heard his luscious and thick voice laughing. He was laughing hard already but he was trying not to crack more.  A smile was a virus and so i had come in contact of it to, I started laughing as well and didn't notice that the phone was lying on the floor just near my head.

"(Laughs*) amoré you've got some old ways to get away (laughs*) don't try it again."
He said while he peered into my eyes and then left and right while shaking his head. His laugh was so rare, it was a melody though, his smile would be
' a sight for my sore eyes'. I'd never know why did I say that but that thought struck my brain at the moment . And I didn't not even know my position until I glanced down at us, he had my hands above my head and his lower body situated between my legs, out chests heaving up and down while we laughed together.
My laughter died down and just a smile erupted my face when I saw him smiling and laughing . It was as if I was watching him in slow motion , my heart flittered at his happiness.  It was as I met the real Kaden right now, this would've been him if he weren't to be a mafia..... this would be him...

My eyes glistened with tears while I still smiled.

'Did I like him?'
I asked myself.

' no but it's evident now , you do.'
My mind and heart spoke to me.

"Neffré why are you crying? Are you hurt ?" .
He quickly sat up while holding me with him.
I straddled him and he held my face while gazing at the rest of my body to make sure I wasn't hurt. Why? Why did he care for Me suddenly? I - I liked it; the way he cared for me , the way he made sure I wasn't hurt. I was growing fond of him, and I liked it.

Amidst him checking on me, I slowly mumbled something that made his eyes shoot up .

"There's so much pain in this world."
And a tear cascaded through my eye.

"What are you talking about?"
He asked while his thumb wiped away that tear , his face showed regret and sadness .

I licked my lips wet and leaned unto his bigger hand caressing my cheek.

"Kaden, you're so sad and I can't help but watch you. I don't know why? I can see you so clearly, your battered memories confront mine and I don't know how- what- and again how can I help you so that you feel better , so that you don't feel sad. Kaden I don't know---"

And I was cut-off when his lips kissed mine.
