Adrian
I sigh in annoyance as Luna and Tia engage in another conversation about which Avenger they would date. Could this plane land any faster? I think to myself as I connect my Bluetooth headphones to my phone. The device vibrates in my hand, meaning I have received a notification. I check my phone to see that I have a text from Dakota.
Dakota: are you coming to dinner tonight?
Me: dinner?
Dakota: did dad not tell you? He's having dinner at his house tonight at 7
Me: nah he didn't tell me anything lol
Dakota: where have you been anyway
Me: I was in Chicago on a business trip but I'm on my way back. I'll come to dinner tonight
Dakota: ok see you later ily
I smile and tuck my phone back into my pocket. I look over at the new pair of friends who are still talking loudly.
"I'm serious!" Tia says. "Captain America is the hottest one!"
"That's impossible because Thor exists," Luna retorts, crossing his legs under his but. "I want Thor to impregnate me," he says causing me to glare at him.
"Thor has a big dick."
"I know," Luna giggles. "Thor with the hammer," he winks.
My eyes widen. "Luna!" I snap.
He looks over to me. "Oh...hey babe...I almost forgot you were here.."
"Yeah, whatever," I playfully roll my eyes and wrap my arm around his shoulder, pulling him close to me. Luna takes this as an opportunity to swing his legs across my lap and cuddle into my chest. "What happened to your shoes?" I ask, massaging his small feet that are covered with striped socks.
"I took them off," he points to a pair of white sneakers that were placed neatly under the seat across from us. I grab the television remote and try to turn the channel to something that he would enjoy, eventually stopping on a cooking show I've seen him watch before. I see Tia smile at us before placing all of her focus onto her laptop. "Babe?"
I look down at Luna. "What's up?"
"Can I have some of your pretzels?" he asks, reaching for the bag that was sitting on the stand next to me. I grab them and hold them away from him. "Babe! Give them to me!"
"No," I respond, laughing at his pouts.
"Why not?" he whines.
"Say 'I'm more attractive than Thor'," I chuckle.
"I'm more attractive than Thor," he smirks, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Fine, starve then," I shrug and put the pretzels back down on the stand.
"Okay! Okay! You're more attractive than Thor!" he groans.
"And say I have a bigger dick than Thor."
"B-But that would be lying...you know I don't lie..."
"Say it!" I tickle his feet resulting in a loud squeal to escape from him.
"You have a bigger...thing...than Thor!" He laughs, trying to move away from me.
"Good. Now give me a kiss," I pucker my lips.
Luna leans toward me, getting extremely close to my lips. Suddenly, he smiles and says, "thank you," before sitting back in his seat. I furrow my brows before I notice the bag of pretzels in his hand. He begins giggling until he notices the glare I'm giving him. "Sorry, baby," He leans over and softly pecks my lips.
I grab a blanket and place it over the both of us, causing Luna to cuddle further into me. I dim the lights so it's almost completely dark; the only light sources coming from the television, Tia's laptop, and the blue LED strips that line the edges of the jet. I hear Luna quietly munching on his pretzels as he watches the television. It isn't long before he's fast asleep on my chest, the bag of snacks almost spilling out of his hand.
Before I know it, the jet is coming to a land and I hear the pilot talking on the intercom. Tia begins to pack up her stuff as Luna continues to sleep peacefully. Deciding not to wake him, I gently slip on his shoes before picking him up and carrying him off of the jet. Soon enough, we're entering my car, which I'd left before we traveled. It's a silent car ride to Luna's hotel as he sleeps. He finally wakes up as I'm parking the car. "Adrian..." he whispers, wiping his eyes and yawning.
I rush around and open his door. "Come on, Love. We're at your hotel."
"I'm tired of hotels," he whines as he climbs out of the car. I carry his suitcase as he drags himself all the way up to his hotel room. He groans loudly when he has to search for his key in his wallet. Eventually he finds it and opens the door, allowing us to enter. As I set his suitcase down, Luna looks at me with a pout. "Are you leaving?"
"I have to, baby," I chuckle. "I have dinner with my family and I need to go home to see Riot."
"I don't know how I'm gonna sleep without you now," he mumbles, digging his face into my chest. I wrap my arms around him, pulling him into a gentle hug. "I'm gonna miss you too much..."
"I'm gonna miss you too, love," I sigh, cupping his face with my hands and lifting his chin so he's looking at me. I smile when I see the cute pout on his face. "Stop pouting."
"I'm sad," he whines. "When can I see you again?"
"Uh...I'm not too sure. I have to work all day tomorrow, even though it's a Saturday. And I'm pretty sure I have to babysit my niece and nephew on Sunday."
"So I'm never gonna see you again?"
A laugh escapes my lips. "Don't be dramatic. I'll see you in a few days."
"Fine," he grumbles, crossing his arms over his chest. I lean in and softly kiss his lips. "Bye, daddy."
Almost instantly, I freeze in my place. Did he really just say that? I think as my eyes widen. "You better watch yourself before you end up in an unfortunate situation."
"I was joking!" Luna giggles and wraps his arms around my neck.
"What are you planning on doing for the rest of the night, anyway?"
"I'm probably gonna order a pizza and then watch a movie until my friend gets here."
"He's coming tonight?" I ask, raising my eyebrow. I can sense his excitement as he nods with s bright grin on his face. "I hope you guys have fun."
"We will! And don't worry, you'll get to meet him soon!"
"I hope so," I chuckle and slide my arms around his waist, pressing my lips to his temple. "Bye, baby."

Luna
I pout as I shut the door behind my boyfriend, instantly feeling a new level of loneliness. I was fine being alone before our trip but spending the entire week in his arms left me feeling needy and attached to him. I bring my suitcase into my bedroom and quickly unpack. After changing into a pair of comfortable pajamas, I flick on the television and sigh when I am unable to find a good show to watch. "I miss my boyfriend, I miss my boyfriend," I sing quietly to myself as I decide to do something I haven't done in a while. I head over to the bookshelf and grab one of the many books I'd stocked away for my trip. I look at the cover, shrugging when I realize I'd already read this book. Despite that fact, I take it over to the couch and sit it down before going into the kitchen to make a warm cup of tea. Once I'm settled, I begin to read, getting completely lost in the book.
Eventually, I close the book with a sigh. I guess I was reading for longer than I thought because the sky is dark and the streets are quieter. I look down at my empty mug and bring it into the kitchen to wash it. As I'm washing the mug, I hear a soft knock on the door to my suite. Sadly, I look over to the door. "Are you my boyfriend?" I groan.
"No but I'm much better!" a familiar deep voice responds from the other side. With a gasp, I run over to the door and swing it open, immediately being engulfed in the arms of my best friend. "Luna!" he grins, hugging me tightly.
"Gio!" I screech and pull away. "I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too, Lu. It's been forever," He says as he walks into the suit, rolling his suitcases behind him. "Holy shit...this place is nice.."
"I know. My parents really outdid themselves," I giggle and lead him to the second bedroom which has been vacant since Anna got her own suite. "You can have this room."
"I'm gonna put my pajamas on since it's getting kinda late," he says, yawning.
"Sure!" I smile. "We'll catch up afterward," I head into the kitchen to grab two bottles of water and a bag of chips. As I'm sitting down, Gio exits the bedroom in a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie. He plops down on the couch and grabs the bag of chips from my hands. "How rude!"
"Yeah yeah yeah," he waves me off. "Tell me about this new man in your life."
"Who?" I furrow my brows as I sip my water.
"Don't play dumb!" he smacks me with a pillow. "You know who I'm talking about."
I blush and look down, playing with my fingers. "What would you like to know about him?" I mumble.
"Everything, starting from the beginning."
"Well his name is Adrian...he's an architect..."
"I wanna know the important stuff, Lu! Like how did you guys meet..."
"Oh I suppose you could say we met through my parents. He's the architect they hired to build their new restaurant."
"Does he treat you well?"
"Of course. Adrian is the sweetest man on the planet!" I gush, covering my cheeks to hide my blush.
"You really like this guy, huh?" Gio smiles at me and pokes my stomach. "I've never seen you so happy before. I'm kind of offended to be honest."
"I've never felt this way before, Gio. It's kinda scary..." I admit, folding my legs under me. "He's brought a lot out of me since I've been here. I'm not as quiet and reserved as I was before..my confidence has skyrocketed.."
"Well I need to meet the guy who is changing my best friend," Gio chuckles. "At least before you start dating him."
I clear my throat and nibble on my bottom lip. "About that..."
Gio's eyes widen as he grabs another pillow and begins to hit me with it. "I said you can't date him until after I meet him!"
"I'm sorry!" I laugh loudly as I try to dodge his hits. He finally relaxes and sits back in his seat. "He asked me in such a cute way! I wasn't just going to say no because you wanted to meet him first!"
"Whatever," he rolls his eyes. "I still need to meet him."
"You will, I promise," I say to him as I place a few chips in my mouth. "Anyway, how are you and Laura?"
I notice a small drop in his mood before he clears his throat. He bites his lip and looks down at his lap. "Uh...Luna...Laura and I aren't together anymore..."
I burst into a fit of giggles, holding my stomach. "Seriously, Gio! How are you guys?"
"Luna I'm serious!" he nudged my story. "We broke up."
The smile on my face almost instantly falls as I hear his words. "What? Why? Is everything okay?"
There's a long pause before he answers, leaving me to guess that he's taking it harder than I expected. "Last week, I-I found her cheating on me..." he finally chokes out.
Immediately, I pull him into a gentle hug, softly rubbing his back. "Oh honey...I'm sorry..."
He sighs and pulls away. "It's okay. I'm just trying to figure out what exactly I did wrong.."
"You did nothing wrong, love! She's just a...a...a poop head!" I yell out in anger. "You're amazing, I promise.."
"Thank you, Luna," he chuckles. "Your boyfriend is really lucky to have you in his life."
"I know," I chuckle. "I'm perfect, aren't I?"
"Wow..." Gio lets out a soft laugh. "I guess being with him really did boost your confidence...maybe a little too much.."
"I was kidding!" I smack his arm.
"I know, I know! I'm glad he's made you feel better about yourself, though."
"Yeah, he's great," I sigh with a nod. We talk for a couple more hours until we realize that it has hit odd hours in the morning. After a few more laughs and yawns, we decide to bid each other goodnight. I pull Gio into a tight hug and sloppily kiss his cheek to gross him out before I head to my bedroom. With my eyes almost closing, I climb into my bed and face plant into the pillows. This time, I don't bother to turn on the television and just fall into a deep sleep, getting lost in my dreams.
