PERSONALITY AND CHARACTER ANALYSIS: Liana Halili has always been sociable, but now, she has her guard up. It is very difficult to befriend her because she has a massive fear of herself and what she might do to others. Her behavior is very self-deprecating, but she is also realistic and good at thinking on her feet. She is very creative and has a talent for sculpting, which plays into her enhanced abilities. She uses her sculpting talent to express her different emotions and finds comfort in silence. She does not seem like a tortured soul because she is always so chipper, but her demeanor can change on a dime. She can be equally cold and stoic. She is unstable and dangerous, but she has good intentions and wants to help people.
CHARACTER ARC: Liana Halili was born an only child in Miami, Florida to a rich family who owned the most successful car dealership chain in the state. She was happy, popular, and had many friends, but her popularity was only due to her financial standing. When she was fifteen years old, a bitter customer tried to rob her family by breaking into her house. She was so scared that her abilities were unintentionally triggered and she turned the robber inside out. Unfortunately, she accidentally killed her parents as well.
Traumatized, Liana blocked out the memory and convinced herself that the robber killed her parents and then killed himself. After her parents' deaths, she was put in a foster home and lost her financial standing, which led to her losing her social standing as well. She had no friends and was completely lonely. She didn't acknowledge what happened to her parents until a year later, when the Re-establishment tried to recruit her. She eventually complied with them and knew nothing more than her home there. Months later, she was taken hostage by the rebels at Omega Point, but one of them set her free. She came back to them, hoping to aid in their fight against the Re-establishment.
Liana never forgave herself for what she did to her family. After the war was won, she left everyone and everything behind. No one ever figured out what happened to her.
