The next day, the four roommates were standing in the new gym that now belonged to Archie and Reggie. "This So cool" Betty said, looking around. It was a big space and had two floors. "It needs a lot of work, but i can't believe we actually own it" Archie said. "It's surreal" Reggie added. "So what do you guys want to do with this place?" Jughead asked. "We want to knock down some walls and obviously build a reception, separate from the gym" Reggie explained, gesturing around the building. "We're meeting with a builder later" Archie said. "I'm so happy for you" Betty smiled. "Me too" jughead said. After another tour, and some more talking, jughead had to leave. "I need to go and meet with the publishers" he announced. "Good luck!" The others said, Betty giving him a quick kiss before he left. "I'm going to head home and get some work done" Betty said after jughead left. "I'll see you guys at home" she said to Reggie and Archie and left the gym.

Back at the apartment, betty was working on some college work. However she couldn't shake the sinking feeling in her stomach and the tightening in her chest. She had no idea what had brought on the anxiety and was feeling, but she was feeling it get stronger the longer she worked. By the time the boys came home, Betty was spiralling. "Hey" They all greeted when they Walked in. "Hi" she said, trying to be normal. "So, Jug... tell Betty the good news" Reggie grinned and Betty saw the excitement on her boyfriends face. "IM GETTING PUBLISHED!" He grinned. Betty was happy for him, of course she was. But instead of Congratulating him, she burst into tears, causing the boys to look extremely worried. "Betts?" Jughead asked, confused. "I'm sorry" she sobbed and ran into their room, shutting the door behind her. Jughead didn't think twice before rubbing after her. "Baby? What's wrong?" He asked as he watched her pace up and door, her breathing heavy and tears streaming down her face. "I..i.." she cried. "Okay, Okay" jughead said, snapping into action mode. "Here come and sit down" he said and guided her to sit on the edge of the bed where he crouched in front of her, taking her hands in his. "Breathe With me. In and out, that's it, you're doing great" he encouraged her. When she was calm enough, jughead kissed her hands and said "what's wrong baby?". "I'm sorry juggie" she apologised. "I really proud of you, and I'm sorry that I didn't say that" she sniffed. "It's okay betts, don't worry" he said softly. "What happened betts?" He asked again. "I feel so lost" she cried. "I... Reggie and Archie have just started a business and you're getting published and all of you are finally doing what you want to do and your dreams have come true" she said. "And I ... I feel like I'm just worthless" she told him and jugheads eyes widened. "Betts... you're still in college, you will get your dreams as well" he said to her. "That's the problem! I'm not even good at college! It's so effortless for everyone and I find it hard and stressful" she cried and collapsed onto jughead. "Oh honey... why didn't you say anything?" He asked, rubbing her back. "I didn't want anyone to think I was stupid, it's embarrassing and you guys are all doing so well" she exclaimed. "You're not stupid" jughead started. "You're so talented, and smart and beautiful" he said, trying to reassure her that she was enough.

Later that evening, after celebrating by ordering pizza with the others, Betty and jughead found themselves wrapped in each other's arms in bed. "I really am proud of you juggie" Betty said, looking up at him. "Thank you baby" he smiled and kissed her. "I'm proud of you too, you've come so far in yourself and you're amazing betts, and one day you're going to be a kickass journalist" he grinned and Betty laughed. "I will be won't I?" She beamed and jug nodded,  before pulling her closer to him. "I love you so much" he said. "I love you too jughead Jones" she smiled.
