Over the next couple of weeks, Betty was busy with classes while the boys were doing their own things. Betty was on the subway, on her way back from college when she got a text from the roommate group chat:

Archie: me and Reggie have an announcement, hurry up home!!

Betty frowned at her phone, what would they have an announcement about? After a short trip on the subway, she made it home. "Hi" she greeted when she walked through the door. She spotted Reggie and Archie in the living room and then saw jughead in the kitchen. "Hey babe" she smiled. "Hi" he grinned, pecking her lips. "Okay you two come sit" Reggie said and they complied, sitting on the couch, as Archie and Reggie stood in front of them. "Please don't tell me you're moving out" Betty pleaded. "We're not moving out" Archie laughed. "So what's up?" Jughead asked. "Me and Archie, have a new business" Reggie started. "We've brought a gym!" Archie announced. "Wow!" Jughead smiled. "Congrats guys! This is amazing" Betty grinned, hugging both of them. "Thanks guys" they smiled. Archie and Reggie have dreamed of opening a gym. "So you really have a gym? Can we see it?" Betty asked. "We pick the keys up tomorrow, then we can go" Reggie told them. "This is great! We should all go out and celebrate" jughead suggested and the others agreed.

An hour later they were in a bar at the end of their block. "I'm starving!" Jughead said. "That's new" Betty teased and jughead playfully rolled his eyes. "I could eat" Reggie shrugged. "Shall i Just go and order some food for the table?" Jughead asked and the others nodded. Reggie, Archie and Betty were sat at their table when they saw a woman approach jughead. Jughead turned towards her and smiled, talking. "Who's that?" Betty frowned. "I have no idea" Archie said. "They look... cosy" Betty said, not able to keep the jealousy out her voice. "He probably just knows her from college or something" Reggie said, not wanting her to worry, but Betty didn't seem so convinced. "Seriously betts, I'm sure it's fine, jughead loves you" Archie reassured. Betty watched as jugheads order was ready and he hugged the woman goodbye with a grin and made his way back to the table. "Foods here" he beamed, not noticing the tension. "I'm just going to go to the bathroom" Betty said, slipping away. "What's up?" Jughead frowned when she left. "I think she's jealous" Reggie said. "WHAT!? OF WHAT?!" Jug almost screamed. "who was the woman at the bar?" Archie asked. "Ohhh! That's Sarah, I met with her a couple of weeks ago about my manuscript" jughead explained. "I didn't tell anyone in case it didn't work out but she just told me that the publishers liked it and they want me to meet with them" jughead said. "Congrats man!" "Thats great!" The boys Beamed, getting up and hugging. "But maybe you should go and speak to betts..." Reggie suggested. "Right! I'll go and find her" jug said, walking to the bathrooms.

When Betty came out of the bathroom, she saw jughead leaning against the wall. "I love you, you know?" He said, stepping towards her. "I love you so much. Only you" he added, his arms coming around her waist. "You don't need to be jealous betts" he said. "I'm sorry..." she sighed. "It's okay" he assured. "Who was she?" Betty asked. "She works at a publishers, I met with her a few weeks ago about seeing if my manuscript could be published" he told her. "Why didn't you tell me?" She questioned. "I didn't want to tell anyone until I got more confirmation" he exclaimed. "And..." she said. "She wants me to meet with the publishers" he grinned and her face lit up, wrapping her arms around his neck and hugged him tight. "THATS AMAZING! IM SO PROUD OF YOU!" She beamed. "Thank you" he smiled. "I love you" she grinned. "I love you too" she said, pulling her closer and kissing her, hard.

"I can't believe you guys are owning a business and juggie might become a published author" Betty smiled and the four roommates walked home. "I know, it's great" Reggie grinned. When they got back to their apartment, they all went to bed as they were exhausted. "Ready for bed?" Jug smiled when Betty made her way into their room after using the bathroom. "Yep! I'm so tired" she giggled, climbing under the covers and cuddling into jugheads side. "I love you" she smiled. "I love you too" he said. "I'm so proud of you, I know I've already said it but I really am" she said, turning to face him. Jughead was looking at her with love in his eyes. He cupped her cheek and brought his lips to hers. "I couldn't have done it without you betts."
