The next morning Betty was woken up to knocking on the door. Jughead started to stir next to her so carefully she got out of bed and went to open the door. "Good morning Betty!" Kevin beamed when she opened the door. "Kev? It's 8am why are you here?" She yawned. "My date was fantastic and I'm in a good mood so I thought we could go out for breakfast" he smiled. "And your roommates of course" he added. "Okay. I'll get them up" Betty said. She went back into jugheads room and found him awake. "Did you hear that?" She asked and he nodded. "Yep. Now give me a hug and good morning kiss before we have to get up" he laughed and she climbed onto him and kissed him before he hugged her close. "You go get dresses I'll wake Reggie and Archie up" Jug said as he held his hand out to help her out of bed and with one last kiss he left the room.

Eventually when they were all ready they made their way to a cute little café that did breakfast. Betty and jughead ordered pancakes, Kevin ordered a waffle and Archie and Reggie ordered a full English breakfast. "Thanks Kev this is amazing" Betty smiled. "No problem" Kevin said. "So B I was thinking we could go shopping after this?" Kevin asked. "Sure. Did you guys want to do anything today?" Betty asked looking at her roommates and boyfriend. "No go have fun baby" jughead said. So when they finished breakfast they said goodbye to Archie, Reggie and jughead and went shopping. They spent hours roaming through the shops and they brought a few new items for their wardrobes; but Betty was a bit quiet after a few shops but Kevin didn't press the subject they got a coffee before they said their goodbyes and they went their separate ways.

Betty didn't feel comfortable in her new clothes, she's always had body issues but now she has a boyfriend she's more aware but she didn't want to tell anyone. When she got back to the apartment, the boys were sat at the kitchen counter and Reggie was showing him his new protein shake and making them try it. When they spotted her they all grinned. "Hey babe" "hi betts" "Hey" they all said and she just waved and made her way to her bedroom. As expected jughead knocked and came in. "Are you okay baby?" He asked and sat next to her on the bed. She sighed, she didn't want to lie to him so she came out with it. "I don't feel pretty anymore" she said, letting a few tears slip. "What?" Jughead asked dumbfounded. "I don't know. It's just today trying on all the clothes and I didn't like what i saw when I looked in the mirror, i know it's my depression and anxiety talking But I can't help it" she cried and he wrapped her up in his embrace. "Oh honey. I'm so sorry you have to go through this but I promise you're beautiful" he said and kissed her head. "Do you believe that ?" He asked when he pulled away. "Do you believe me?". She looked at him for a moment before nodding. "Yeah". "Good" he said and kissed her softly. "Come on, get your sweats on and we'll order a pizza and cuddle on the couch while we watch one of Archie's awful movies. How does that sound?" He asked with a grin and she giggled. "That sounds perfect" she said with a smile.

When he got up to leave the room while she got changed she stopped him and held his hand. "I love you juggie" she said. He stood for a second and looked into her eyes wondering when he got so lucky. "I love you too betts" he said and pulled her to him so he could kiss her again.
