Reggie went to open the door and froze when he saw who was on the other side. The others also froze and turned towards Betty who dropped the plate of food she was holding and walked towards the door; where Veronica stood. "Good morning b I brought breakfast" Veronica beamed and she held up a bad full of expensive French breakfast food. Veronica walked in and placed the bag on the table. The others stayed silent until Betty spoke up. "Get out Veronica" she said calmly. "What?" Veronica asked, pretending as if she didn't know what she had done. "Veronica stop playing what you did was stupid and potentially dangerous for Betty, you completely ruined her trust and respect for you so I would leave and let her have some time" Kevin spoke putting his arm around Betty to comfort her. " what no B it was a joke. We're besties you can't really want me gone" she said. "It wast a funny 'joke'" Jug spoke up, Reggie and Archie agreeing. "Whatever let's move on we're besties" Veronica said reaching over to grab Betty's hands. Betty jumped back away from her and shouted. " Get out! Friends don't do this you could've made me seriously ill!" She screamed and she backed Veronica into the door before opening it and grabbing the bag of food she brought. "AND TAKE YOUR STUPID FOOD AND LEAVE ME ALONE!" She yelled and threw the bag at her and shut the door. "Right well shall we eat?" Betty said to the others before sitting down. The others sat at the table with her. "Are you okay sunshine?" Jug asked placing a hand over hers and rubbing over the back in a comforting gesture. "Yeah" she replied. "Are you sure?" Kevin, Reggie and Archie all said in unison. "Yes I am I promise I mean it hurts and I'm so sad that she did that because I trusted her but i clearly didn't mean as much to her as I thought if she did that and if I'm going to be happy again I need to stop worrying about people who hurt me" she let out. The others smiled at her, as they saw she was being honest and they all ate their breakfast. They spent the morning chilling and Kevin left at lunchtime and Betty said she wanted to get out the apartment so Betty and the boys went for a walk through Central Park. Reggie and Archie left as they had stuff to do about an hour later and Betty and jug walked hand in hand around the park, stealing kisses and talking About everything and anything. They stopped and sat on a bench, Betty in jugheads lap when she turned to him and said "juggie?" She asked. "Yeah?" He replied and kissed her cheek. "I think I'm going to be okay you know" she whispered into his neck. "Of course you are your strong and brave and I love you" Jug said to her, pulling her head up he kissed her with so much love and passion. "I love you too, you make me so happy Jughead Jones and I'm so lucky". "I think you'll find I'm the lucky one baby" he said and they sat people watching enjoying each other's company.
