Betty woke up in the middle of the night. Her anxiety was through the roof after that days ordeals and she couldn't sleep. Instead of waking jughead up she grabbed his hoodie and pulled it on before quietly tip toeing out into the living room. She made some tea and grabbed a book from his bookshelf before heading out to the balcony. With how crazy her life's been with graduation, wedding planning, the bachelorette party and now her crazy "step" sister turning up and causing chaos she needed a few moments to herself.

Jughead stirred in his sleep and moved his hands to pull Betty closer to him but all he was met with was empty sheets. He sat up in a panic not knowing where she was. He pulled on some sweats over his boxers and left the bedroom. He found the teabags out on the kitchen counter so he assumed she'd made tea; which he knew she only did when she was anxious. He looked around and spotted her on the balcony reading one of his books. "Hey baby, you okay?" He asked and he crouched in front of her. "Oh yeah, sorry I just couldn't sleep" she smiled. He stood up and picked her up into his lap and sat them back where she was sitting. "What are you reading?" He asked her. "One of your books, it's a poetry one" she said. "You like poetry?" He asked with a smile. "It calms me" she said. "Read me something" he said with a soft smile and placed a kiss on her temple.

"You may not have been my first love. But you were the love that made all other loves irrelevant."

"Juggie, this book is beautiful" she said with a small smile. "Well it's yours now" he said. "Really?" She asked excitedly and her voice made him light up inside. "Of course. A beautiful book for a beautiful girl" he said and kissed her softly. They sat there for a while just enjoying each other's company and watching as dusk began to break. "Can you believe you'll be my wife in two weeks" he said after a while. "I can't wait" she grinned.

Later that morning, jughead was on his laptop looking at honey moon locations when there was a knock at the door. "Hey Man" sweetpea and fangs said when jug opened the door. "Hey guys what's up?" Jug asked and they all sat on the couch. "Just wanted to see how you and Betty doing after yesterday" fangs said. "She's okay, it was tough last night but she seems better. She's having a nap at the moment" Jug said. "That's good" sweetpea nodded. "Do you two want to stay for lunch? I don't think Betty's up to eating with the serpents today but she'll enjoy your company?" Jug asked and the two other boys agreed. "Okay well you're going to have to help me cook because betts is the chef in this relationship" Jug laughed as they boys went into the kitchen.

They decided on spaghetti and meatballs and they actually seemed to make it edible. As they were dishing it up Betty emerged, dressed in a rabbit onesie and bed hair. "Well hello there sleeping beauty" jug teased and kissed her and wrapped his arms around her. "What's going on here" she said as she pointed to where sweetpea and fangs were placing four bowls on the table. "We made lunch" fangs grinned. They sat at the table and dug in. "This is amazing" Betty praised and the boys all grinned. "So What's our favourite couple doing today?" Fangs asked once they finished eating. "Nothing" Jug said with a shrug. "Movie day!" Betty yelled excitedly and jug groaned "please not another Disney marathon" He said but was still smiling. "Yes! Disney marathon!" She giggled and he pretended to bang his head on the table. "You love meeee let me watch it!" She mock pouted and he smiled and kissed her softly. "Okay then" he smiled.

Later they day Jug came out of the shower and got dressed into some clean sweats. When he went to join Betty on the couch she was eating a big tub ice cream and watching beauty and the beast. "You got enough ice cream there betts?" He joked and put his arm around her. "I'm eating my feelings in ice cream" she said. "I mean I did almost have a breakdown at my bachelorette party so I think this is reasonable" she said holding up her spoon. "Honey, you are okay though aren't you?" He said. "It freaked me out and sent me into a spiral but I'm okay now I promise" she smiled and kissed his cheek . She handed him a spoon and he shared the tub of ice cream. "Okay hit play" she smiled. "Yes my princess" he smirked and played the movie.
