"Good morning" everyone says as Betty entered the kitchen the next morning. She smiled and took a seat next to Jug who gave her a kiss and handed her a plate with pancakes on. "So you ready to go home darling?" FP asked Betty. "Yeah, I can't wait to see everyone and to go back to school" Betty said happily. Everyone else looked to each other unsure. "Ermm betts, you're going back to school?" Sweetpea said, asking the question everyone was thinking. "Well yeah, why?" Betty said confused. "Babe, you've been through a lot, and I know you keep saying you're okay but maybe you should make that decision when we get home" Jug said. Betty agreed and the rest of breakfast continued in light hearted conversation.

When the time came to finally go back home everyone put their bags into the cars. "Here I'll get it babe" Jug said and picked up Betty's bags for her. "Thanks juggie" Betty said and got into the car. Jughead, Betty, FP, Sweetpea, fangs and Toni were in one car and Kevin, Archie and Veronica were in another. When Betty was in the car they left, with FP driving. Betty was cuddled up into jugheads side while everyone else around then engaged in conversation. After about an hour of driving Betty started to get a little nauseous. She sat up and her face was pale. "Betty? You okay?" Jug asked when he took in his girlfriends appearance. "I feel a bit sick" Betty said. "Don't worry I'll be fine" she added. "No, dad can you pull over please" Jug asked FP, when FP pulled over jughead opened the door and helped Betty out. He stood rubbing her back. "You going to be sick?" He asked. "No I just feel sick, I'm not going to be sick" she said. "Okay look at me, breath in and out with me and you should feel better okay?" He said and she nodded. They stood inhaling and exhaling then he wrapped his arms around her and they enjoyed each other's presence for a while before he asked "Are you going to be okay to carry on or do you need a few more minutes?". "I'm good now, thank you" she said and he kissed her before they both got back into the car to continue home.

When they arrived home the whole bar was there to greet them and tell them how much they missed them. The serpents took especially to making sure their very favourite blonde cheerleader was okay and showered her in love and concern. After they filled the serpents in on everything that had happened since they were in New York Betty was starting to yawn. "Okay I think that's enough for tonight come one princess let's get you to bed before you start drooling on my shoulder" jug joked and they bid goodnight before the couple made their way to the apartment. "God I've missed having our own space" Betty said when they opened the door. "Mmm me too" jug said kissing her softly. "I'm going to have a shower I feel gross" Betty said heading to the bathroom. "Join me" she said as she got to the door. He didn't need to be told twice.
