I have a question, it might seem strange
How are your lungs, are they in pain?

Everytime Jughead passed by my desk in class, my heart would start beating, and I tried to avert my eyes.

But he was so cute, with his stupid beanie and his face- I daydreamed about him constantly, even when he wasn't around, and I thought about him as much as I breathed, which was every passing second.

Sometimes I wonder how it would feel, his hand touching mine.

I wanted to go up to him and ask if he would help me write for the Blue and Gold, but every time I was presented a chance, when he was alone, the very thought of approaching terrified me.

How would he react? Would he agree? And if he did, should I hug him? Smile and nod? And I would start overthinking it, and by the time I had gathered my courage, he was already gone.

But the thumping of my heart didn't stop even when he left.

About the 100th time I started to talk about how gorgeous he was, Veronica got tired of me going on and on. She rolled her eyes, and then right when he passed by, she pushed me into him.

But like the mumbling awkward human I was, all I could do was say sorry and blush.

He shot me a just as awkward but extremely adorable grin.

And then, before I could stop myself,"Do you want to help me write for the Blue and Gold?"

My mind was screaming at myself for being an idiot, and it felt like my heart would fall out of my chest even at his slightest reaction.

He didn't say anything.

But his smile said everything.

Oh, would you be so kind as to fall in love with me?
