They all waited in the hospital waiting room while a doctor assessed Betty. "God I feel so sorry for Betty, and none of us noticed!" Jughead said, not lifting his head to look at anyone. "I know dude, what's she going to do when she gets out of here? Can she go home?" Archie asked. "Wait you guys don't know?" Veronica said. "Don't know what?" Kevin asked. "Betty's parents left her for a month to go to a marriage counsellor in New York, they left 2 days ago and Betty's staying at home by herself" "to hell she is! I'm staying with her now" Jug said. They all sat In silence until a doctor came out, causing all four of them to stand up. "Well she will be fine" the doctor started, to which the others Breathed a sigh of relief. "She needs rest and food and as little stress as possible for the next week while her body gets used to not depending on the pills, she will probably be very emotional and it could take a toll on her mental health, if anything else happens please bring her back." The doctor finished before going out and fetching Betty. Betty came back in and instantly jumped in Jugheads arms. "Come on sunshine let's get you home". Once at home, the five of them ate takeout and watched a movie until Veronica, Archie and Kevin left leaving Betty and jughead snuggled up on the couch. "I love you Betty" jughead said stroking her hair. "I love you too" she whispered. "Come on you need some sleep" he said helping her up and upstairs. Once they were both ready for bed they got into bed and jughead pulled the covers over them and they fell into a deep sleep. The next Morning Betty awoke to a note from jughead saying "morning princess, had to get to school. See you later. Love you.". Betty instantly jumped out of bed threw on some sweats and ran to school. How could he not wake me up ? I can't miss school ? She thoughts. On arriving at school she realised she was supposed to be in chemistry. "Great" She whispered to Herself. The one class she had a breakdown in. The class only had about 25 minutes left and it was the last class of the day but she was determined to sit through it. She opened the door and walked in, as expected Everyone was staring at her and whispering and the teacher gave her a look and continued to write on the board. Jughead got out of his seat and guided her to where she sat with Kevin. "Baby what are you doing here?" He whispered. "You didn't wake me" she said sitting down. "Yeah because you need to rest Betty" Archie said from behind Jug. "Doctors orders" Veronica chipped in. "It's okay I'm fine" she said looking down. Class continued and eventually the bell went and the five made their way to pops. "Thank you" Betty said looking up at her friends. "For what betts?" Jughead said pecking her cheeks. "You didn't have to look out for me yesterday, or today so thank you". "Of course we do we love you!" Kevin said, the others agreeing. "I love you babe" jug whispered to her. She looked up smiling and said "i love you too Juggie". From that point Betty knew she had people who loved her and she'll be alright!
