Betty cooper, the good girl, the teachers pet, the school geek.... the nerd. Jughead Jones, mr popular, king of the Serpents, runs in the 'cool crowd'. Two completely different people, two completely different worlds. Jughead Jones made Betty's life hell. He was her bully. She had never done anything to him, or anyone for that matter but he made her time at school a nightmare.

When Betty woke up one morning, she reluctantly got out of bed and ready for school. She walked downstairs and made herself some cereal and sat at the table. She sighed looking around the Empty house; she had no one. Her sister had run away, her mom was an alcoholic who left and hadn't been back in years and her dad abandoned her so she was all alone. She didn't have many people in her life; her best friends Kevin and Ethel were really the only people she was close with. After her breakfast she realised the time and rushed off to school. When she got there, she went straight to her locker to grab her books for the day. "Hey loser" she heard a voice behind her. She sighed and turned around where she met with jughead and his goons. Jughead, Archie, Cheryl, Toni, Sweetpea and Veronica were all stood behind her. "Oh betty... you're looking a little... large today? Maybe you should skip out on lunch today" Cheryl smirked at her. Betty felt her eyes sting; she struggled with her self esteem and to hear other people comment on it really upset her. "Leave me alone" Betty mumbled and walked away but she felt someone grab her wrist. "You're useless Betty cooper" jug snarled at her and she snatched her wrist away and walked off.

After lunch, where she hid in the blue and gold, she made her way to English. She sat down on her own at a desk and pulled her notebooks out. Betty zoned out for most of the lesson until the teacher was telling them their pairs for the next project. "Jughead Jones and Betty cooper" the teacher announced and Betty wanted to disappear. Jughead looked like she was disgusting and he'd rather be partnered with anyone else. At the end of the lesson Betty rushed to try and get out of class but was stopped but jughead and Archie. "I'll be at your house tomorrow Blondie" jughead said. Archie snorted next to him "ha! Good luck with that one jug" Archie laughed and they walked away.

The next day Betty was anxiously pacing around the house, when suddenly there was a knock on the door. She hesitantly opened the door and there stood jughead. "Come on Blondie I don't have all day" Jug said as he pushed past her. Betty stood there not knowing what to do when jughead spoke up again "hurry up! I don't want to be here so let's get this over with" he said and walked into the kitchen; Betty tried not to let the hurt show on her face and followed him. They worked in pretty much silence until jughead stood up and started walking around. "Where's your family?" He asked. "I don't have any" she said, not looking at him. He looked at her like he wanted to say something but didn't, instead decided to press the issue. "Why not? Did they get fed up of you too?" He laughed and Betty spun around and let the tears she had been holding in, fall down her face. "Get out" she said. Jugheads head snapped up to look at her and surprisingly he looked ashamed. "What?" He said. "GET OUT!" She snapped. "GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT!" She cried and hit his chest repeatedly. Jug just looked shocked. "Betty..." he said as he watched helplessly as she sobbed. She started hyperventilating and before jughead could do anything she fainted. He managed to catch her and scooped her up in his arms...

He took her to her bedroom and placed her on the bed. He sat next to her on the bed and moved the hair from her face. "I'm so sorry Betty" he said feeling guilty. He sat next to her on the bed, while she slept, the whole time he was just reflecting on everything he'd done, he didn't mean to make her life anymore of a nightmare that it already was. After about half an hour she stirred awake. "Hey..." Jug said Softly and Betty sat up quickly, looking around the room in confusion. "Hey. It's okay, you're okay" Jug said. "Jughead? What... what are you doing here?" She asked. "You fainted" he told her and watched and she remembered what happened before she passed out. "I'm so sorry Betty" he said and the raw emotion in his voice made her heart flutter. "I am so so so sorry. Me and my friends have Been so horrible to you and you've been suffering this whole time" he started. "I promise you betty from now on, I'll be better for you, okay? I'm so sorry" he said. "I forgive you Jug" she said and smiled at him; it made his heart saw. "You're so beautiful betty cooper" he whispered.
