"How's Betty doing" Archie asked. Jughead, Archie, Veronica, fangs, Sweetpea, Toni, Kevin and Cheryl were all sat in the student lounge. Betty had taken a few days off school after what happened at prom. "Honestly, I'm not sure" Jug sighed. "She's been staying with me and my dad in her own room but she's just quiet, she only comes down to eat" he said. "Poor B" Veronica said. "What can we do?" Kevin said. "Not being funny Kevin but you, Cheryl and Toni turned your back on her and focused on the farm" jug said. "I know but we're not anymore" Cheryl said. "We just have to give her time" Archie said and before anyone could say anything Betty walked in. Her hair down and leggings and a sweatshirt on. "Baby?" Jug asked, instantly standing up and going over to her. "What are you doing here?" He asked as he sat her down. "I have to come to school" she said. "You're allowed a few days off B" Veronica said. "I know but I'll be fine" she said and jughead didn't push her, instead just put his arm around her and kissed her head.

Betty made it til after first period until she started to get overwhelmed. She was sat in maths and the anxiety in her stomach reached its max. She stood up and rushed out the classroom. Sweetpea and fangs were the only ones in the class with her and went after her, Sweetpea texting jug. "Betty?" Fangs asked gently as he approached Betty. She was staring at the janitors closet that she was trapped in. "Fine" she said and then walked to the blue and gold. She felt the breath leave her when she saw the blue and gold; it hadn't been cleaned up since prom and the aftermath of the black hood was still there. She started to pick up all the mess, tears falling down her face. Sweetpea and fangs watched helplessly and Then jug rushed in, Veronica and Archie behind him. "What happened?" Archie asked and jug knelt next to Betty and grabbed her hands. "She ran out of class then she was staring at the janitors closet now she's here" Sweetpea said. "Hey sweetheart? Can you stand up for me?" Jug asked and Betty looked at him, tears falling and it broke Jugheads heart to see her like this. He helped Betty up and she instantly sobbed into his chest. "Shh I got you baby, you're safe, it's okay" he comforted. "Jug? I think you should take her home" Veronica said and jug agreed "Come on betts" he said gently and lead her outside.

"What happened?" FP said in concern when they walked through the door. "I'll explain in a bit" jug said and took Betty upstairs. He ran Betty a bath and when she was in he went back down to talk to his dad. "I don't know what happened, I left her asleep in bed this morning and then turned up at school and said she was fine" Jug started. "Then fangs and sweetpea said she ran out of class and she was just staring at the closet that Hal trapped her in and then I found her sobbing on the floor of the blue and gold, trying to clean up the mess" jug sighed. "Jug she went through something so traumatic, it will take time but I've spoken to the school and she has authorised leave" FP said and jug nodded "we just need to be there for her" his dad said. Just then Betty Walked down the stairs, in her pyjamas. "Come here you" Jug said and held his arms out for her. "I love you" he whispered when she snuggled into his chest. "I love you too" she said. "I'm going to get you kids some pops I'll be back in a bit" FP announced and kissed Betty's head on the way out.

An hour later, Betty and jughead were curled up on the couch; cuddled up under a blanket , half eaten pops on the table and a movie playing on the TV. "Juggie?" Betty said. "Yeah?" He said. "Thank you for being here with me" she said. He smiled down at her and held her tighter to him. "There's no where else I'd rather be baby" he said softly and kissed her softly. She cuddled closer and then jughead realised that his dad was right; all he needed to do was be there for Betty and support her.
