Betty awoke to the smell of pancakes and bacon coming from the living room. After she spoke to her friends and jug last night she instantly felt happier and couldn't wait to get on with the trip. Stepping into the kitchen she was presented with her three favourite people cooking up a storm for breakfast. Jughead turned around finally noticing his girlfriend watching them. " good morning sunshine" he said giving her a peck on the lips. "Good morning" she said smiling. "Want coffee?" Archie asked holding up a freshly brewed pot. "Sure, Thank you!". They all sat and ate breakfast giggling and sharing jokes. The whole table cautiously eyed Betty in case she didn't eat but once she was digging into her pancakes they all sighed in relief and continued their breakfast. After they were all dressed and ready for the day they decided to spend the day at the beach. They splashed around in the sea, played volleyball, couple against couple and had a picnic. When the day was drawing to a close, Betty and jughead were stargazing on the sand. " I love you Betty Cooper" Jug said pulling her into a hug. "I love you too jughead Jones" she smiled up at him. She knew then that this was going to be the best trip ever.
