"V! I can't wear that!" Betty said as she looked at the small black dress that Veronica was holding up. "Why not? You'll look amazing in it B!" Veronica said, already going through Betty's closet looking for matching shoes. "Betty. This is yours and jugheads 3 year anniversary... you need to look the part" Veronica said. "V... jughead doesn't care if I look all done up, I have other dresses in there that are more my style" Betty said; eventually Veronica caved in and let Betty choose her own dress; while she did hair and makeup.

The day of their 3 year anniversary, Betty woke up in her and jugheads apartment, to an empty bed as jughead was at work but he had left a beautiful, big bunch of pink roses, Betty's favourite. He also left a note:

Betts,

Happy anniversary my love. I'm sorry I can't be with you today but I'll be back at 6 to take you to dinner. Have an amazing day you deserve it!

It had made Betty smile for the rest of the day, she went about cleaning the apartment and pampering herself ready for their dinner. She'd called Veronica up to help her chose an outfit, and she had immediately come round; Perks of Veronica and Archie living down the street from them in New York. "I can't believe it's been three years!" Betty said as Veronica curled her hair. "I know it's so exciting!" Veronica said. "Okay and we're done!" Veronica announced. "Thanks V! I love it" Betty smiled. "And this is where I leave you B! Have a great night and call me tomorrow" she said as she kissed her cheek and left the apartment. Betty looked at herself in the mirror. She had a pink floral dress on, her hair lightly curled and natural makeup with a pink lip. It was a typical Betty look and she suddenly stressed that Veronica was right and she needed something more.

"Baby? I'm home!" She heard jughead yell and was immediately broken out of her thoughts. "Coming!" She said and with one last look in the mirror, she sighed and walked out to meet Jug. "Oh my god..." Jug said, jaw dropped when he saw her; Betty blushed. "You look so beautiful" he said, taking a step towards her. "Really?" She said shocked. "Betty..." he said in disbelief and put his hands on her waist. "You're honestly the most beautiful woman I've ever seen" he said seriously. "And I'll keep telling you even if you don't believe me" he smirked when she was about to protest, she blushed again and he laughed. "Happy anniversary juggie" she smiled and he kissed her softly. "Happy anniversary betts".

The dinner was wonderful. They laughed and talked and ate amazing food. Jughead payed the bill even though Betty protested; he shut her up with a kiss. When they were done, they laced their fingers and decided to walk back to their apartment and enjoy the evening. When they got home, they got ready for bed, jughead was in his pyjama pants and no shirt while Betty was in her pyjamas that had bunny's on. "Thank you for an amazing night jug" she said as she brushed her hair in the mirror and he was sat on the bed behind her. "I'm hoping I can make it even better" he said and reached into his drawer. "What do you mean?" She said, still looking at the mirror. "Betts?" He said and she gasped as she turned around to find him kneeling on the floor, a ring in his hand. "Oh my god..." she whispered, her hands on her mouth. "Elizabeth Cooper... you are my first and only love. You are the most amazing, smart, driven, gorgeous woman I have ever met.." he started but was interrupted by Betty. "Juggie! I'm in my pyjamas!" She cried with a smile. "Baby. I'm on a roll here" he laughed. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you... I love every part of you betts, I love you when you laugh and smile, I love waking up to your bed hair every morning, I love you when your stressed and excessively clean the apartment" he smirked and she giggled. "But most importantly I love how kind and compassionate you are and how you have so much love in you... I never believed in soul mates but as soon as I met you betts I knew that you were mine... so Betty cooper... will you marry me?" He asked, looking up at her hopeful. "YES! Yes yes yes yes!" She yelled and tackled him in a hug, causing him to fall with her. He wrapped his arms around her and squeezed her tight. "I love you" she said. "I love you too" he said and kissed her before sitting them up and slipping the ring on her finger. "It's beautiful juggie" she said in awe, looking at the ring. "So are you my love" he said. "I can't believe you proposed while I'm in my pyjamas!" She giggled and hugged him again. "Well it wouldn't be very us to do it in a fancy restaurant" he smirked. "I'm going to be your wife!" She squealed.
