Jughead knew that Betty was insecure about her body; years of Alice cooper grilling her caused that. That's what lead him here, waiting in the blue and gold for his girlfriend to finish cheerleading practice. Normally he'd wait at pops but today they were getting there new uniforms and it always made her feel self conscious.

He was sat waiting on the couch when the door opened and Betty came in holding her bag over her shoulder, a few unshed tears threatening to fall down her face. Jug didn't say anything, he just smiled and hugged her before leading her out the school. "My parents are away, will you stay over?" She asked. "Of course" he said.

Back at Betty's they were sat on her bed and he kept noticing her staring at her bag which had her new cheerleading uniform in. "Betts, why don't you just try it on" he said as he sat behind her and gently rubbed her shoulders and eased the tension she had. "No" she shook her head. "Betts you look gorgeous no matter what, and trust me I saw you when you had the flu" he joked and she giggled and playful hit his shoulder. "Please? Try it on for me" he begged. "Fine" she huffed and went to change in the bathroom.

When she came back his mouth dropped. "Wow" is all he could manage to say. She stood infront of the mirror, looking at it with a frown on her face. Jug came up behind her and held her waist. "This skirt is...." he said before she cut him off "the skirt is short on purpose!". "What? Betts. I was going to say how hot you looked in it" he said with a boyish grin and she blushed. "Really?". He turned her around to face him and leant down to place kisses on her lips. "Really" he smiled. "In fact" he started as he lead her over to the bed. "Let me show you exactly how much I love that skirt" ....
