"50 50 Chance" Veronica said as they all looked down at the two chalices full of liquid. "It's okay V, whatever happens it will be okay" Betty said. Jughead kept a hand on Betty's back as Veronica took a sip. She was fine. "Oh my god..." Veronica cried as they all realised Betty had to drink the poison. "No! No!" Jug said in anger, he was not going to let his girlfriend die. "It's okay... we... I have to do this" Betty said and she let the tears fall. "I love you all" she said as her shakey hands picked up the chalice; she took a deep breath before she drank and then it was done... the poison was in her system.

"Well done" Penelope said as the entered from behind the four teenagers. Betty was wrapped in jugheads arms, already feeling tired. "You don't have long until it kills her" Penelope smirked. "You can get the antidote as soon as you find it.... good luck and times running out" she laughed and they four teens rushed to save their friend. "How do you feel Betty?" Archie asked. "Erm.. I... sleepy" Betty mumbled and the other three shared concerned glances. "Right we need to complete the next two tasks and save Betty" Jug said and they ran to the next task. When they got there jughead handed Betty to Archie and she collapsed against him. Jug looked at his task and he didn't hesitate to lunge at chic, Betty's life was on the line and nothing was going to stop him was helping her.

The next task was Betty's. "Betts? Are you okay to do it?" Jug asked and Betty nodded. She stumbled over to the box and opened it, finding a gun inside. "Shoot me Elizabeth" Hal said, stepping out and making Betty's head snap up. She shakily held the gun as tears fell from her eyes. "Don't make me do this" she sobbed. "Do it and get the antidote" he started and they all looked to the antidote " Shoot me or I'll kill you and your friends" Hal added. Betty didn't notice Archie moving towards the antidote she just kept her eyes on her father. He started counting down and before Betty thought twice she shot him in the hand, the gun falling as he dropped to the ground in pain. "I'll never be like you dad" she sniffed and tried to keep standing as the poison powered through her body. The next thing they all knew Penelope was there and shooting Hal in the head. "NOOO" Betty screamed and dropped to the floor, her father dead and bleeding out in-front of her. "BETTY" jug and Veronica rushed to her as she sobbed. Jug tried to talk to her but realised she'd gone limp; she was unconscious. "No no! Betts stay with me baby!" He cried. "Archie grab it!" Veronica pointed at the antidote and he did and jughead picked Betty up, carrying her as they all ran away from Penelope and her Gargoyles.

They ran through the forest until they saw the Serpents and poisons pull up. "No Time to fight! Drive to the hospital!" Jug yelled as they jumped in the back of the truck. Toni nodded as she put her foot down and drove. "Is she Okay?" Cheryl asked looking at her cousin. "She's been poisoned" Archie said as he opened the antidote and jughead opened Betty's mouth, pouring it in. "God I hope this works" Jug cried as he held betty to his chest. When they got the hospital it was all a blur. Betty was whisked away by doctors and the rest of them were sat in the waiting room. FP and Mary arrived and were horrified to hear what they had all been put through. "Betty cooper?" A doctor came out and they all stood up. "Is she Okay?' Jug asked. "Is there a parent or guardian here?" The doctor asked and FP stepped forward. "I'm her guardian" he said and the doctor nodded. "She's lucky. The antidote worked and the poisons out of her system" he started and they all sighed in relief. "It didn't effect any organs and she should make a full recovery" he added. "However she will be tired and nauseous for the next few days" he said. "Can I see her?" Jug asked and the doctor smiled and nodded. Jug rushed off to Betty's room as the doctor spoke to FP and Mary about Betty's condition some more. When he got into her room she was throwing up into a bag and he rushed over and rubbed her back. "I'm so glad you're okay" he said as he kissed her head. "Juggie" she smiled. "Are you done?" He asked and she nodded. He took the bag and threw it away and then helped her take a sip of water. "I thought I'd lost you" he said as he climbed onto the bed next to her and she snuggled into his arms. "You can't get rid of me that easily" she said. "I love you" he said. "I love you too juggie" she said sleepily as she fell asleep in his safe embrace.
