Jughead was sat in pops, with Archie, Veronica, Kevin, fangs, Sweetpea, Cheryl and Toni for their weekly pops catch up. They were waiting for Betty to arrive. "She's never late" Archie frowned. "Should we be worried?" Kevin asked. "She hasn't been answering any of my calls or messages since I left her house this morning" Jug said, concern lacing his features. "I think we wait 10 more minutes and if not we'll go and look for her" Toni spoke up. "I agree, Alice is still at the farm and Betty's in the house all on her own and she probably got caught up doing her homework" Cheryl said. They all sat and made small conversation but they were all worried about their friend. "I'm sorry but I can't sit here! Something doesn't feel right!" Jug said and stood up, leaving the diner; the others following.

"Betts you home?" Jug said when they knocked on the door. As his fist hit the door to knock, the door pushed open. "Jug..." Sweetpea frowned. "Why was the door unlocked?!" Veronica panicked but jughead was already making his way into the house. "Betty?! Betts?!" He yelled. Everyone starting searching all the rooms and Betty wasn't anywhere to be seen. "JUGHEAD!" Fangs yelled. Everyone rushed to where fangs was in Betty's room, holding a piece of paper. "What?! What is it?!" Jughead demanded. "It's a note... from the black hood..." fangs trailed off and Everyone went quiet. "What?!" Jug yelled and snatched the letter reading what was on it:

I have Betty.
She was getting to close to uncovering my true identity
Don't even try to look for her

"Oh my god" Kevin said. "We have to find her!" Archie said. "Okay Okay, so Betty must have some research on the black hood that she was keeping from us because the note said she was getting close..." Jug said, trying to keep as calm as possible while his girlfriend was god knows Where. "Okay let's look for it" Toni said and they all started searching Betty's room for anything that could help them. They were searching for a while until jughead found a box hidden in her wardrobe. "Guys!" He said and put the box on Betty's bed. Inside there were notebooks filled with information and call logs. "He's been calling her..." Kevin said. "She's been going through all this alone?! Why?!' Jug said. "Here read this... it says if she were to tell anyone he'd kill all people she loved" fangs said picking up a note. "So who Is the blackhood?! Betty must have an idea" Archie said. "ermmm here!" Kevin said picking up another notebook. "Oh my god..." he said. "What?!" Everyone demanded. "Betty thinks it's her dad!" Kevin said and everyone gasped. "Oh god.. we have to find her!" Jug yelled. "Here! It says that she had to go to an abandoned house in Fox forest, this is our best shot" Sweetpea said. "Okay let's go! Kevin call your dad and I'll call mine" Jug said.

FP had brought the Serpents and the police were on their way but there was no time to wait as they stood outside the house. "Let's go" jug said and they kicked down the door. They listened and they couldn't hear Anything and then they heard a sound that made jugheads heart stop, a scream... Betty's scream. "BETTY!" He yelled and they followed the sounds of Betty's scream and they made their way to a room and Betty was on the floor, beaten and bloodied with the black hood standing over her. "GET AWAY FROM HER!" Jug screamed and pushed him into the wall, Sweetpea and FP pinning him down and punching him while jughead went to Betty. "Betts?" He said kneeling next to her. "Juggie" she sobbed in relief. "I've got you. I'm here you're safe now" he said as he pulled her into his arms. "Juggie it's my dad" she cried. "I know baby, I know" he said. "Jug get her out of here" FP said and jug nodded, picking her up and carrying her out of the house. "Betty!" Everyone said and ran and wrapped her up in a hug. Just as they were hugging, an ambulance and the police showed up. Sherif Keller rushed intro he house an a Paramedic went over to betty. "Can I look you over?" She said softly and Betty nodded. "Can he come with me?" Betty said and held Jugs hand. "Of course" she smiled and jughead helped Betty onto the ambulance. After Betty was checked over and she was fine, they cleaned her cuts and she was given a blanket as she was shaking from shock. She was sitting on the edge of the ambulance, jugheads arm around her and talking to her friends. "We're so happy you're okay" Kevin smiled. "Cousin, why didn't you tell us about the black hood?" Cheryl asked. "He said he'd hurt you all" Betty cried. "Shh it's okay, it's all over now" Jug said, not wanting her to feel worse. All their heads were turned by sheriff Keller bringing out Hal cooper, without the mask. Hal was just staring daggers at Betty and jughead turned her head so she couldn't look at him. "Look at me betts" he said and she did. "It's all over now" he said and she nodded, and hid her face in his Chest. He kissed her hair and held her tight; he never wanted to let her go again.
