"HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUGGIE" Betty shouted at jughead who was slowly waking up from his deep sleep and registering what was happening. Today was his birthday, he was back living with his dad and things had been great but he still didn't like his birthday but he saw how happy it made Betty so he was sucking it up for her sake. So that brings him to now it's 7:00 am on a Saturday morning and here's Betty in nothing but ice cream printed pyjama shorts and a yellow vest top with a dressing gown with bunny ears thrown over the top. She has her hair down and no makeup on her face, she looked gorgeous! "Morning gorgeous" he mumbled before she leapt on him giving him a big hug and a kiss. He slowly started to sit up and he looked over at Betty who had something hidden behind her back and she was giggling to herself. "What's that Betts?" Jug said grinning at his beautiful girlfriend. "Happy birthday" she whispered handing him a bag which contained 4 neatly wrapped gifts. "Betts I told you that you didn't have to give me anything" he said while pulling her into a hug. "I know but you give me so much every day it's the least I can do" she said leaning her head on his shoulder. He started opening them; he unwrapped the first three: a vintage book he'd been going on about forever, a new journal and a photo frame with a picture of them at the driving in when they were 7 and then the most recent photo of them at the drive in next to it. " I love them Betts, Thank you" he said placing a kiss on her lips. "Well there's one more" she said smiling brightly and pointing to a rather larger present in the bag. He lifted it out the bag and tore of the paper. Suddenly he stopped. At first he was confused, then shocked , he looked over at Betty who was grinning widely at him, love and affection shining through her eyes. "Betty this is... I don't know what to say!" He whispered. The present in question was a brand new laptop, too expensive for him to ever afford. "Betts. No baby I can't accept this it's too much" he said facing towards her. Betty cupped his face with her hands and simply said "Juggie you deserve so much more on your birthday than this so this is the least I could do, you have so much talent and your not going to be able to use it all on your ancient computer you are using now so now you have this" "no baby I won't ever be able to get you anything like this" Jug replied. "Jug you give me so much all the time, you've helped me see that it's okay to be who i am. Now that is something I can never repay". Jughead took her in his arms and pulled her close kissing her passionately. "I love you Betts" "I love you too Juggie, happy birthday" they stayed in their own little world happily staring into each Others eyes before Betty got up and said "now come on, I think there's a booth and pops with our name on it and a stack of pancakes" she said grabbing his hand. "And then your couch for a movie marathon, I know you don't like to celebrate so this is the next best Thing . As long as your happy it's a birthday well spent" Betty shouted over her shoulder, as she dragged him out the door, grabbing F.P. and making their way to pops in their pyjamas. "Betty Cooper you really are something else" Jughead had the biggest smile on his face staring at the girl he had the pleasure calling his, that was the best birthday present ever!
