The day of Hals trial was stressful for everyone. Especially Betty. All summer long she'd been putting off having to deal with that fact that her father was a serial killer but now she had to face it in front of the whole town and had to take the stand. She'd been taking adderall and pretending to everyone that she'd been seeing a therapist. So when everyone arrived at the courtroom, Betty sat down next to jughead and Veronica waiting for the days events to play out.

Jughead head noticed how fidgety his girlfriend had been all throughout the trial but he put it down to nerves. Veroncia noticed as well and she kept giving jughead worried glance. When Betty started sweating and wriggling around in her seat, jughead squeezed her hand "are you okay?" He whispered. "Y..Yeah" she mumbled but jughead didn't seem so convinced but child chose not to press her right now. Eventually the court took a break and everyone filed out the room. Before jughead could speak to Betty she was gone. Veroncia met up with Archie and then both of them went over to jughead. "Where's Betty?" Archie asked. "I don't know! She just rushed off" jug said looking around for his blonde beauty. "She was acting really weird in the courtroom, do you think somethings wrong?" Veroncia asked. "I think she's just nervous" jug said. "Guys shes over there" Archie pointed out. And they all saw her sat on the stairs and rushed over. "Hey baby" jug said as he sat next to her and wrapped his arms around her. "Hi" she said. "You doing okay?" Archie said and Betty shrugged. Before anyone could say anything else, they were called back into court. Betty stood up and quickly swallowed a pill and walked into the room. "What did she just take?" Jug asked confused. "I have no idea" veroncia said.

Eventually the time came around for Betty to take the stand. "Elizabeth. Can you confirm that the man over there is your father?" The judge said, pointing at where Hal was sitting in handcuffs with a smirk on his face; it made Betty feel sick. "Y..yes" Betty stumbled over her words. "And is it true that he called you as the black hood over the period of three months asking you to do certain things?" The judge continued. "Yes that's correct" Betty said. Jughead then noticed Betty's face turned pale and she started to shake, other people noticed too. "Miss Cooper are you Okay?" The judge asked concerned and Betty just nodded and stood up Shakily. "C..can... you excuse me..." she stuttered and moved from the stand but she didn't get Anywhere and she collapsed in the middle of the court and started seizing. "Oh my god!" Alice screamed and rushed to get to her daughter. "BETTY!" Jug yelled and rushed to her and held her head still. The room was chaos; Hal was escorted from the room while FP called and ambulance and Archie held veroncia while she cried for her best friend. The serpents were all there, along with Kevin, Cheryl and sheriff Keller. After what felt like years, the paramedics arrived and placed Betty on a stretcher and wheeled her out, Alice in tow. "Boy! Come on we'll meet them at the hospital" FP said, helping jughead up.

When they all arrived at the hospital they saw Alice crying in the waiting room. "There's no information yet" she sniffed. The waiting room was filled with people waiting for Betty. An hour later a Doctor cake out. "Family of Elizabeth Cooper?" He said and everyone stood. "Is she Okay?" Alice said. "She'll he Okay. She's been taking adderall at an excessive rate and it caused her to have a seizure. She needs zero stress in her life if that's possible or this will happen again" the doctor said. "Also. She needs help with her addiction to adderall it's bad for her" he added. "Apart from that, Alice you mentioned she'd been seeing a therapist but she's made him up. I suggest she starts seeing one for real I can refer her" he said. "Thank you" Alice said. "Can we see her?" Jug said, needing to see her. "Yes" he said and told them her room. "How did we not notice?!" Alice said when the doctor walked away. "She's Good at hiding it but we can help her now" Archie said.

Alice saw Betty first and when she came out she let jughead in. The first thing he saw when he walked in was his girlfriend crying in a hospital bed. He rushed over to her and kissed her tears away before lacing their fingers together. "You scared me" he said as Moved her hair from her face. "I'm sorry" she sobbed. "Hey hey... baby don't cry" he comforted. "Why didn't you tell me baby? I could've helped you" he said softly. "I was embarrassed I didn't want to admit I was struggling" she cried. Jug sighed and wrapped his arms around her, hugging her tight. "You never need to feel ashamed with me, i love you betts, that's not going to change" he said. "I love you too" she said. "Juggie?" She said and he looked at her. "I think maybe I want to see a therapist for real" she admitted. "I think that's a good idea and I'm proud of you for asking for help" he said and she smiled. "I'll be with you every step of the way" Jug said and kissed her softly.
