{takes place after Cheryl and Betty's scene in episode 2}

Archie and Jughead were on Archie's porch talking about Archie and Grundy when they heard the coopers front door slam. "Betty!" The boys shouted. Betty stepped into view and she was shouting at someone who was it? "Betty... and Cheryl?" Archie said to jug. "Your a crazy bitch just like your sister!" Cheryl screamed at Betty before leaving. Betty stood there for a minute letting the tears fall down her cheeks. The boys starting walking towards her knowing that Polly was a touchy subject for Betty, but she ran off before they could talk to her. "Damn it where would she go?" Archie asked concerned for his best friend, they knew how she could get when she's upset. " I think I have an idea follow me!" Jughead said as he took off down the road Betty had ran. Archie and Jughead reached the woods where Jugheads old treehouse was, they used to come here as kids all the time and jug remembered when Betty once said it was her safe place. Archie and jug climbed the ladder and crawled inside to find a curled up Betty in the corner. "Betty? Are you okay?" Archie asked, reaching out to her but she jolted back, she was having a panic attack. " Betts, hey Betts, look at me, come on your okay, your okay" jug said putting his hands on her shoulders; suddenly she jumped into his arms and he pulled her into a right embrace. "Shh Betts you okay, we've got you, shh". After she has calmed down the three of them sat there, Betty in the middle, none of them spoke until Betty said " I'm sorry". The two boys exchanged shocked expressions before Archie replied. "Betty you have nothing to be sorry for now come on tell us what happened". So Betty filled them in about how Cheryl had accused Polly of killing Jason and how Betty had threatened to kill her, she barley got to the end of her story before bursting into tears again. "Betts,hey it's okay you were angry don't beat yourself up about it okay" Jughead said, she nodded and leaned her head on his shoulder and Archie gently rubbed her leg in a comforting gesture and the three of them sat there until Betty's phone was blowing up with messages from her mom asking where she was, so the two boys escorted her home in comfortable silence until she turned and brought them both into a hug and thanking them for everything they'd done that night for her and she went inside.
