"So betts, I want you to meet my mother" Jug said as they were lounging on her bed. "Really?" Betty said and sat up. "Yeah" he smiled. Gladys and jellybean had recently moved back into the trailer and Betty had already met jellybean and it warmed jugheads heart to see how well they got along and now he wanted her to meet his mother. "Okay, when?" Betty asked. "How about you come over for dinner tomorrow night?" Jug suggested. "Yeah, sounds good" she agreed and he grinned.

The next day betty was getting ready to go over to jugheads for dinner with his family. She was a little nervous but jughead had reassured her throughout the day that it would all be fine. So when she saw ready to left her house and walked over to sunny side trailer park. "Hey betts!" Jug smiled and pulled her in for a hug and a kiss when he opened the door. "Hey juggie" Betty smiled. "Betty!" Jellybean squealed and hugged Betty. "Hey jellybean" Betty grinned and hugged her back. Next, FP hugged Betty. "How Have you been darling?" He asked. "I've Been good thank you" she said. "Hi! I'm betty" Betty introduced herself to Gladys. "Gladys" gladys said and Betty tried not to let it bother her that she didn't seem that welcoming towards her. "Dinners not done yet so why don't we sit down" Jug said and took Betty's hand and sat them on the couch. Jellybean sat on the other side of Betty and FP and Gladys opposite them. "So Betty..." Gladys started. "Are you like your mother?" She asked and betty was taken back. "Betty is nothing like Alice" FP spoke up, both her and jughead glaring at Gladys. Jughead placed a hand on Betty's thigh, to comfort her. "Fine then... so your dads a serial killer?" Gladys said. "MOM!" GLADYS!" FP and jughead yelled. "Erm.. Yeah..." Betty mumbled. "And what if you turn out like him?" She taunted. "A crazy cooper... you aren't good enough for my son!" Gladys Said. Everyone was silent for a moment and Betty had tears falling down her face before standing up. "Erm.. I'm gonna go" Betty whispered and she rushed out. "What the hell?!" Jughead roared as soon as the door shut Behind Betty. "You have no right to say that! Betty is an amazing girl and you should be happy our son has found someone like her and how much they loved each other" FP yelled. "I'm going to find her!" Jug said and ran out trying to find Betty, the last thing he heard was FP kicking Gladys out.

Jughead was looking for a while until he found her sat at Sweetwater River. Tears streaming down her face and his heart broke seeing her like that. "Hey you" he said softly and sat next to her, his arms coming around her and she collapsed into him. "I'm so sorry baby" he said as he kissed her head. "She's right. I'm not good enough for you" she cried. "What?!" Jug said shocked. "I have so much baggage! Why would you want to be with me" she sobbed. "Oh honey... I love you to much and my mom was wrong, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me" he said. "But.." she started. "No buts. I love you" he said and pulled her up so she could look at him. "Okay?" He said. "Okay.." she sighed. "I love you betts. So so so much" he said kissing her. "I love you too juggie" she said as he pulled her closer and kissed her the top of her head.
