The next few months went really well. Betty seemed to be happy and content and getting used to New York life and she only had a few bad days. Her and jughead had become very close and they both developed strong feelings for each other. Jughead had just got home after running errands and he found Betty on the living room floor with notebooks spread out around her and textbooks and she was highlighting sheets of paper. "Hey green eyes" he said walking over to her. She looked up, flashing him a smile that made his heart melt. "Hey Juggie" she replied and went back to working on the papers in front of her. He reached his hands out, indicating for her to grab them, when she did he pulled her up and pulled her into a hug. "What's this for" she smiled up at him. "Betts I want to ask you something" Jug said, getting nervous. " Betty Cooper will you join me tomorrow night... for a date?" Betty looked up at him in surprise, then a massive grin spread across her face and she jumped up, wrapping her arms around his neck and he spun her around. "So I take that as a yes?" He asked laughing. "Yes. Yes. YES" she squealed. He put her back on the ground and admired how adorable she was. Jugheads heart swelled at the The pure happiness on her face, something he hadn't seen in a while. The rest of the day passed quickly with Betty trying to finish the rest of her school work and Jug tidying up the apartment and going out to get groceries. The next day came around and it was Almost time to head out on their date. After getting dressed and ready the pair headed out. "So Betts?" Jug started once they hit the pavement. She looked up at him and he continued. "The winter fair is in town and I thought I would take you but we can change plans if that will be to Much for you?" He question while reaching out to grab her hand, giving it a light squeeze. "Juggie, Thank you for being so sweet but I'll be fine. Id love to go" he smiled and made her promise to tell him if it got to much for her and she wanted to leave. They made their way to the fair and Jug brought their tickets. "So where to first?" Betty asked Jug as the two made their way through the crowds of people and the lights; Jug never letting go of her hand the whole time. "Well I'm Hungry so let's go and find something to eat" he said and he lead her over to a cotton candy stall. Handing the guy some money he brought two sticks and handed one to Betty who instantly got stuck in. Jug watched her, laughing at how damn cute she was. "You are adorable Elizabeth Cooper" he smiled and she stuck her tongue out at him. They spent the rest of the day walking around the fair and playing all the games they had. Before the left jug insisted they went on the Ferris wheel, it took a while but Betty finally gave in and they got in the line for it. Once they were on it, they intertwined their hands and Jug pulled Betty close trying to soothe any nerves she may have. When they reached the top and they could see over the top of the fair and New York. Betty turned to Jug and smiled at him which he returned. "Thank you Juggie, for tonight, and everything and always being their for me" she whispered, not dropping his gaze the entire time. "Always Betts, always". The next thing they knew they were both Leaning in and shared a gentle but passionate kiss. The ride started to move again and they pulled apart grinning to each other; Betty rested her head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around her shoulder while they waited to get off the ride. Once off they started their way back home, stealing little kisses the whole way Back, never letting go of the others hand. When they arrived back home they snuggled on the couch for a while before both heading to their rooms, falling asleep with a massive smile on their face.
