After the events that they went through the next week passed with little drama or incidents until the heating and in Betty's room broke one night at 3:00 am. She didn't have the heart to go and tell jughead when he was sleeping so she bundled up in her sweaters, she even put on a hat and fluffy socks and then grabbed her duvet and went to sleep on the couch. Soon after she realised the Couch wasn't as comfortable as she thought; so she moved the coffee table a slight bit and moved her stuff and slept on the floor between the coach and the coffee table and fell asleep wrapped up in her covers. The next morning was a Saturday and jughead knew Betty had no classes and nothing to do and he thought he would wake up before her to surprise her with breakfast. What he didn't expect to find when walking into the living room was Betty asleep on the floor. Carefully, he went over to her and gently shook her awake, she stirred and blinked her eyes open. "Hey baby, what are you doing?" He asked softly. "Sleeping" she mumbled before turning on her side and closing her eyes. " I can see that" he chuckled "but why aren't you in your room? Is everything okay?". She mumbled into her pillow something about "cold" "broken" "radiator" and he decided to follow it up by checking her room. Once he realised the heat was broken he called someone to come and fix it later that afternoon and went back to Betty. He lifted her up, still in her duvet and placed her gently on the coach. "Betts?" He asked once she had woken up. "Mmm?" She asked. "Why didn't you wake me up? Why didn't you get into bed with me?" He said, moving to sit next to her. "I didn't want to bother you" she whispered, averting her gaze to her hands which were curled to fists. "Hey" he said gently, while taking her hands into his and making her look up at him. "You will never be bothering me, I don't want my girlfriend asleep on the floor while I'm warm in bed okay? I'm always here for you day or night please don't feel like you can come and talk to me" he said. "I wasn't sure if you wanted me in your bed" she said while looking up at him, with big green eyes. "Baby, Of course I do! I would want nothing more" he replied while placing a soft kiss on her mouth. "Now come on let's get you some coffee, you look like you need it" he teased while smirking at her, pulling her up on her feet. She playfully slapped him and followed him to the kitchen.
