It has been a week since the doctor have Betty the all clear on her leg and she didn't need her crutches anymore. She had felt so much better now she didn't need to depend on her crutches. It was a Tuesday morning and jug had classes all day while Betty and Archie had after noon classes so they decided to go for a run to pass the time and Betty's missed it. They ran through central park before deciding to get a coffee front the park café. What they didn't expect To find was jughead and a random girl sat in the window. Betty just froze, Jug was sat next to a girl with long brown hair, both laughing and smiling at each other. "Betty let's just go home yeah?" Archie said grabbing her shoulders. Betty was silent the whole way home and once they got back to the apartment she went straight to have a shower, and got ready for class. "Betts? Hey.. stay here don't leave" Archie said As she was about to leave for class. "No, I'll be late" she Said with no emotion on her face. When jug arrived home that evening he found Archie sat at the table but no Betty. "Hey man, where's betts?" He asked as he shrugged his coat off. Archie pulled out his phone and showed jughead his messages.

Betty: hi arch, I'm staying with Kevin tonight... I can't face it.
Archie: if that's what you want betts but please I think you should come home I'm sure it's not what you think!💛
Betty: I can't Archie, I can't put myself through that, it's too much, I'm not ready. I'm sorry.
Archie: love you betty💛

"What the hell happened?!" Jug yelled. "We went running and we saw you and some girl in a café" Archie explained. "She didn't say anything after that and she just left." Archie said. "No! No,no,no! That wasn't what it looked like at all!" Jug said. "Dude who was she?" Archie asked. "Her mum owns an antique store and has a real copy of a book that Betty has been looks for, for ages" Jug said pulling out a book from his bag. "I was going to surprise her" Jug said, looking guilty that he's upset his girlfriend. "Dude she's been through a lot, Okay give her space tonight and explain tomorrow it will be fine!" Archie said. Suddenly their phones buzzed.

Kevin: heads up! Betty's just walked out of mine, she's coming home.

10 minutes later the door opened and in case Betty. Jug rushed over to her and handed her the book. Betty was speechless. "Archie told me what you saw but it's not what you think, I've been trying to get this for you for a long time and I've finally traced it down that girl was just the person who I brought it off, I love you betts" he rushed. "Jug... I'm.. I'm so sorry I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions... I love you.. and thank you.. thank you so much for this book!" She said jumping into his arms and pulling him into a kiss. The couple moved onto the couch cuddling while watching a film... they were always okay, no matter what.
