The day after, Betty woke up feeling a lot lighter than she had in a few days. She decided she was going to get back on track, and go on a walk to clear her head before starting her day. She shrugged some clothes on and walked downstairs. "Hey arch" she smiled when she saw her best friend sat eating cereal. "Morning, you okay?" He grinned and Betty nodded. "Yeah I'm going to go on a walk" she told him. "Want some company?" He asked. "We could take Vegas?" He added and Betty agreed, not minding the company. Twenty minutes later, Betty and Archie were walking along a clearing near sweet water river, throwing a ball for Vegas. "How are you doing betts? Like really doing?" Archie asked as they sat down on a log. "I'm okay arch, really I just slipped up" she told him, looking out over the water. "I hate that I did it because I knew it was wrong but I can only focus on the future" she added. "I'm really glad you're okay" he said, slinging an arm around her shoulders as she leaned on his arm. "I am, and I'm going to be okay" she smiled.

When they got home, Betty grabbed a quick breakfast before heading back up to her room to finish her college work. She was on her computer for about an hour until her phone rang, she looked over and smiled when she saw jughead was FaceTiming her. "Hey gorgeous" he grinned when she picked up the phone. "Hey juggie" she smiled. "How are you today?" He asked, and Betty could tell he was at work, in his office. "I'm okay" she told him, honestly. "Me and arch took Vegas on a walk this morning and now I'm doing some work" she explained, and turned the camera around to show him her computer. "Well I won't keep you too long then" he smirked. "I just was going to ask if you wanted to stay over tonight? We could order food?" He asked and Betty's face lit up, causing his heart to swell. "I'd love that juggie" she beamed. "Great! I'll pick you up when I'm finished here, I love you" he said. "I Love you too" she smiled and blew him a kiss as she ended the call.

"Your chariot awaits" jug teased as he opened the car door for her to climb in. "Thank you" she giggled. "Have you had a good day?" She asked as he drove off, to his apartment. "I did, thank you" he smiled, lacing their fingers together. "Did you?" He asked and Betty shrugged. "I didn't do much" she told him and jug nodded. "But it wasn't a bad day?" He questioned and she shook her head. "No, it wasn't a bad day" she confirmed and he kissed her hand. "Then that's good" he said. When they pulled up outside his apartment, jughead grabbed bettys bag and slung it over his shoulder and lead her inside. "So what are you feeling for dinner?" He asked her as they were settled on the couch. "Erm, I don't mind" Betty said. "There's nothing you would prefer?" He asked and she shrugged. "I wouldn't mind Italian" she added after a moment of thinking. "If that's what my girl wants then that's what she gets" he smirked and Betty laughed at him. "I'll order, do you want to have a shower or anything?" He asked and she nodded, heading in the direction of the bathroom, when she got there she was stopped dead in her tracks, realising something, and then she was hit with panic...

Jughead ordered the food and then sat back down waiting for Betty to join him. After a while of her being in the bathroom, he realised that he hadn't heard the shower turn on yet. Concerned, he stood up and knocked on the door. "You okay betts?" He asked and waited for her to answer. A moment later a quiet "yeah" came through the door. "Okay, just checking" he said, even though he didn't quite believe her, but he decided to leave it for the time being. Around five minutes after he sat back down, the bathroom door opened and Betty's head peered around it. "Juggie?" She said quietly and he looked up at her. "Erm, please can you come here" she asked, looking down sheepishly. Jughead stood up, confused and walked towards her. "What's up love?" He asked, taking in her slightly shaking hands. "Erm...I..." she stammered. "Hey betts, take a breath baby" he instructed, and helped her breath for a few moments. "Okay, now tell me what's wrong" he asked. "I..I started my period" she admitted with a blush on her face. "It's the first time since I was admitted, the drugs stopped my period" she told him and jug nodded. "Baby, it's okay it's normal" he smiled, taking her hands. "Do you have anything here for it?" He asked and she shook her head. "That's fine, I'm going to run out really quick and grab you some stuff okay?" He exclaimed. "You have a shower and get comfy and by the time I'm back the food might be here" he added and kissed her softly before grabbing his keys and leaving the apartment.

When he returned, Betty was laying on the couch wrapped in the blanket from his bed, the takeout on her lap. "Hey you" he grinned. "Hey" she smiled. "Here" he said, handing her a bag of supplies. "Thank you" she smiled, kissing his cheek as she swept by him to the bathroom. When she came out, she lifted his arm up and snuggled into his side. "You okay?" He asked, capturing her lips with his. "I'm okay, thank you for going out for me" she said, gratefully. "Of course, I love you" he beamed. "I love you too" she smiled, grabbing the food and switching the tv back on, both of them content to sit there for the rest of the evening.
