When Betty woke up the next morning, she smiled when she remembered where she was. She rolled over and stared a jugheads sleeping face, and grinned at how happy he made her. A few moments later, jughead stirred awake and reached for her. "Morning baby" he grumbled. "Good morning" Betty chirped and jughead opened his eyes looking at her, amused. "In all the time I've known you, you have never been a morning person" he chuckled and Betty playfully rolled her eyes. "I'm just happy" she told him, snuggling into his chest. "I'm glad" he saidC kissing her head. They were both quiet for a while, just taking in the moment they had with each other. "I really like staying here... with you" she mumbled into his chest. "I really like having you here baby" he grinned, pulling her away from him so he could capture her lips with his. "How about I go and make us some breakfast?" He suggested but Betty shook her head. "I'll do it" she smiled, and jumped out of the bed, jughead just sat back with a grin as he watched her leave the bedroom...

"Oh shit!" Jug heard Betty curse and rushed into the kitchen. "Betts? What's wrong?" He stressed as he took in the sight in front of him. "I burnt it" she pouted and gestured to the bacon she was cooking. Jughead looked at the pan, and sure enough there was four strips of bacon, burnt to the crisp. "I'm sorry" Betty said and she looked so sad about burning the food that jug couldn't help but pulled her into his arms. "Don't worry about it betts" he assured her, placing kisses to her head. "I wanted to do something nice for you" she whined. "The thought was nice enough baby, how about we go to pops for breakfast?" He said and Betty nodded. "Okay" she agreed. "Good, let's go and get dressed" he said and lead her back into the bedroom.

When they arrived at pops, they ordered and were sat cuddled up in a booth, both eating pancakes. "This is so good! I've missed pops pancakes!" She sighed happily. "God I love you" jug smiled as he watched her. "I love you too" she beamed. A moment later, the bell above the door rang and Archie walked in. "Hey guys" Archie greeted. "Hey" jug smiled. "Hi arch" Betty waved. "What are you doing here?" She asked. "Just grabbing a milkshake before I head to the community centre" he explained and Betty nodded. "Would you like to join us?" Jug asked but Betty cut him off. "No!" She said, and both boys looked at her curiously. "Sorry" she blushed. "It's just I haven't been able to spend much time for juggie... alone" she explained. "Was last night not enough?" Archie teased and Betty swatted his arm. "Go away, you're so annoying" she groaned as jughead laughed at their antics. "Alright alright I'm going" Archie chuckled. "See you later!" He said to jug and then ruffled bettys hair. "She you little sis!" He grinned as he left. When he was gone, Betty looked at jug who was still laughing. "What?" She giggled and he shook his head. "You two are seriously like brother and sister" he said and she laughed. "Well we practically are" she shrugged and took another bite of her pancakes.

Later that day, jughead was doing some work on his laptop at the kitchen counter, as Betty sat watching movies on the couch, cuddled in his blanket. Betty put the lion king on and lay down to watch it. Jughead was broken out of his work trance when Betty shuffled over to him, still in the blanket and tears in her eyes. "Can I have a hug?" She sniffed and wrapped her arms around his waist before he could react. "What happened honey?" He asked, squeezing her tight. "That movie was so sad" she whispered and jug tried not to laugh at his girlfriend. "The lion king?" He asked and she nodded into his chest. "I'm sorry baby" he said, kissing her neck. "Will you come and cuddle with me?" She asked, pulling away to look at him and kissing his lips. "Of course I can" he smiled, and Betty squealed when he lifted her into his arms and carried her back to the couch. "Now, let's watch a happier movie, okay?" He smirked.
