The next day, the centre was having their routine checks of their bedrooms to make sure nobody has anything in their rooms that they aren't supposed to. "Do you think anyone will have anything in their rooms?" Kevin asked at breakfast. "Normally a few people do" reggie explained. "Well I'm not one of them" Betty smiled. "Me neither" Kevin added. "Good!" Jughead laughed. "Are you two doing any of the checks?" Betty asked jughead and Reggie. "No but we will come with you when you have yours because we're your counsellors" Reggie told her and Betty nodded. They continued eating until Kevin groaned. "Uh oh... look who's glaring at us" he said, looking to another table. Betty turned to see what he was talking about and saw Ethel staring at her with a nasty look. Betty gulped and turned back to her breakfast. "Hey" jug said softly, taking her hand. "She's not going to do anything, ignore her" he smiled, trying to reassure her. "Jugs right and If she does cause any problems, we'll sort it out" Reggie added and Betty sighed, nodding. "It will be okay" jug smiled and kissed her temple.

Betty was in the day room reading when Ethel walked in and sat down next to her. "So you're dating your counsellor?" She asked With a snarl. "Yes..." Betty sighed, not looking up from her book. "Hmmm I bet he took pity on you" Ethel said. "I mean, why else would he go out with you?" She asked. "Okay Ethel..." Betty sighed, snapping her book shut. "I've had enough of you, leave me alone. Leave Kevin alone and leave jughead alone" she said, standing up and towering over Ethel. "I get that you're bored and probably insecure, that's why you feel the need to attack me, but back off... I'm warning you" Betty snarled before turning to leave. As she turned around and saw jughead, Reggie and Kevin stood there. "Everything Okay?" Jug asked, hesitantly, looking over to where Ethel was. "Yeah, she shouldn't be a problem anymore" Betty said and pecked his lips. "Anyway, it's yours and Kevin's room Check" Reggie Said and they all left the day room.

They did Kevin's room first with the inspectors, and his room was clean so they moved onto Betty's. Kevin and Betty stood and waited outside her room as the others went in to search her room. "I can't believe Ethel was still giving you trouble" Kevin said. "I know, but I told her to back off so hopefully she will listen" betty exclaimed. After a few more minutes of waiting Betty was getting inpatient. "What's taking them so long?" She whined. Just then, the door opened and jughead walked out. "Erm.. Betty, can you come and look at this please?" He said and Betty frowned as her and Kevin followed him into her room. "What is it?" She asked and Reggie and the inspector stepped aside to show a pill bottle sat on her dresser. "Is this yours?" The inspector Questioned. "NO!" Betty yelled, her eyes wide. "Betts?" Jug asked and her eyes snapped to his. "ITS NOT MINE!" She demanded. "I believe Betty, she wouldn't do that" Kevin spoke up. "Also, if it was Mine I wouldn't be stupid enough to leave it out for someone to find when I knew we were having room checks!" She hissed. "She has a point" Reggie said. "So who's is it?" The inspector asked. "I don't know..." Betty sighed, tears falling down her face. "Hey.." jug said and pulled her into his arms. "It's not mine juggie" she cried and he rubbed his hands up and down her back. "I know hun" he comforted, kissing her head. "Baby, has anyone else been in your room today?" Jug asked and Betty shook her head. "I've been in the day rooms Since breakfast" she explained. "There's cameras in the hallway, we could check the footage?" Reggie suggested and jughead nodded. "Lets go to my office" jug said. Once they were all in his office, jughead pulled up the security footage and they all huddled around to watch it. It showed Betty leaving her room that morning for breakfast, and then Betty didn't return. They skipped it on and then they saw someone look around and sneak into Betty's room, with a pill bottle in their hand. "Who is that?" The inspector asked, the others we're just quiet as they watched the screen. The person was in the room for a few moments before coming back out and that's when they saw their face... Ethel.

"THAT BITCH!" Betty yelled and went to storm out the room but jughead put his arms around her waist and pulled her into his chest. "Shh calm down baby.." he said, as her chest heaved in anger. "I can't believe her!" She hissed. "I can, she's a nasty person" Kevin Said, angry that she'd done and could've got Betty in serious trouble. "Betts, calm down. We have proof and we'll deal With this" jughead told her. "Miss Cooper, I'm sorry this happened but I promise I'll report Ethel to the board and have this incident sorted out, we take this very seriously" the inspector said and Betty nodded. "I'll be in touch" he said before leaving jugheads office. "Come on Kevin, let's leave Betty and jug" Reggie said and they also left. "How are you feeling?" Jughead asked her as they sat on the couch. "I can't believe she'd do that, what have I ever done to her?" Betty whispered. "Nothing" jug said, pulling her closer to him. "Don't worry about it baby, we'll sort it out" he promised.
