After spending some time with Betty, Fred and Mary had to leave. Jughead had given Betty some time alone with them, and when they had left he found her still in the day room, but she was sat looking out the window. "Hey" he said softly, sitting down next to her. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah... yeah I think so" she said, honestly. "I really am sorry" he apologised, again. "Juggie.." Betty started, taking his hand. "You don't have anything to be sorry for. You didn't do anything" she smiled. "I love you juggie" she told him, scooting closer to him. "I love you too" he smiled. "I sent my sister home" he explained. "You didn't have~" Betty started but jughead cut her off. "Yes I did" he said. "What she did was unacceptable and I won't allow it" he said and Betty nodded. "Can we go and get some dinner?" Betty asked changing the subject. "I'm hungry" she added. "Of course we can, Come on" he smiled, holding a hand out for her.

"I can't believe she said that! What a bitch!" Kevin said, shocked. Betty and Kevin were lounging on Kevin's bed that night, and Betty was filling him in on the day. "I know" Betty sighed. "It's hard to believe that someone like that is related to jughead" Kevin said. "I know!" Betty agreed. "But... how are you holding up?" Kevin asked, turning serious. "I... I'm okay. I know how juggie feels and that's what's important" Betty told him. "Good. I'm proud of you B" Kevin grinned. "Why?" Betty asked, picking at the blanket, that was covering her. "Because when I met you, something like this would have broken you. But you're so much stronger now" he smiled. "You're right" Betty smiled. They spent the next hour talking and Laughing, until there was a knock on the door. "Come In!" Kevin called and the door opened to reveal jughead. "Hey guys" he smiled. "Hi" they smiled, back. "I've come to get betts" he laughed and Kevin groaned. "Sorry Kev, you know the rules" jughead laughed. "Bye Kev, see you tomorrow!" Betty said, hugging kevin before walking over to jughead. "Hey baby" he whispered, pecking her lips. "Hi" she smiled, as they left Kevin's room. "Did you have a good time with Kevin?" He asked and she nodded. "I'm glad" he smiled. Once they got to Betty's room, Betty went straight into her bathroom to get ready for bed and jughead got comfortable on her bed. When Betty walked back in, she brushed her hair before climbing under the covers and snuggling up to jughead. "Goodnight baby" jug said, kissing her head. "Goodnight jug" she smiled before falling fast asleep.

The next day, Betty woke up without jughead as he had to leave. He didn't work the morning shift so she would see him later on in the afternoon. Betty decided to have a lazy morning, she took a shower before going to breakfast, and once she was done she decided to wrap up in her winter coat and take a book out to the river to read. She was still processing the day before; she didn't blame jughead but a part of her was scared that it would be the same once she was out of rehab, that his sisters opinion would cause him to break up with her. Betty spent her time by the river, stressing and panicking about that idea, that she knew she should probably see it jughead was in so they could have a session. When she was inside, she saw jughead talking to another counselor. As she was walking towards him, he turned around and his face lit up when he saw her. Betty's inner turmoil must have been apparent, as jughead frowned and took her hand. "Betts? What's wrong?" He asked. "I...I think.." she started but groaned when she couldn't get her words out. "Can we have a session? I think I need one..." she admitted, quietly, looking down at her hands. "Of course, Come on" jug said and lead her to his office.

"What's going on betts?" Jughead asked when they were in his office. "I just wanted a session because I was stressing myself out earlier when I was having some alone time by the river, which I know isn't good.." she said. "So I wanted to talk about all the thoughts in my head" she told him and he smiled. "I'm really proud of you" he smiled. "You acknowledged you needed to talk and you're doing so. That's a really big step" he explained. "So, what were you worrying about?" He asked. "Us" she said and jughead tried not to look alarmed. "I mean, what if when I'm out of here and we have a real relationship on the outside and your sister doesn't change her perception of me or your friends don't think I'm good enough for you!" She started. "And What if you start to believe them and what if you don't want to be with you anymore..." she rambled, tears in her eyes. "Woah, woah. Baby" jug rushed, crouching in front of her. "I can promise you, that won't happen" he said. "I love you, so much. And nothing and nobody would make me ever stop loving you" he exclaimed. "I know you're scared about what will happen when you leave. But I promise you betts, it's going to be so good" he assured her. "Promise?" She whispered. "I promise" he smiled, resting his forehead on hers. "I love you too" she smiled.
