"She's a patient jughead! Why would you want to date someone who's messed up?!" Jellybean said, in disgust. "Jellybean!" Jughead warmed, looking furiously at his sister. Betty didn't say anything, as soon as Jellybean said those words, Betty felt her heart drop and she wanted to throw up. She knew Jellybean would hate her. "What?! Are you serious right now jughead?" Jellybean said. "I mean what are you even in here for?" Jellybean asked Betty. "I...i was addicted to adderal" Betty whispered, looking down at her feet. "Great!" Jellybean scoffed. "She's a druggy!" She laughed, humourlessly. "I..." Betty started but didn't know what to say, instead she just ran away from the day room, finally letting the tears she was holding fall...

"WHAT THE HELL JELLYBEAN!?" Jughead yelled as he watched Betty run away. "SHES AN ADDICT!" Jellybean yelled back. "YOU CANT BE WITH SOMEONE LIKE THAT! SHES MESSED UP AND SHES PROBABLY USING YOU, SO YOU CAN GET OUT OF THIS PRISON FASTER!" Jelly yelled. "I can't believe you..." jughead said in disbelief, shaking his head. "I invited you here, to meet my girlfriend, not insult her" he started. "Betty is beautiful, smart and amazing, and all you've done is make her feel like shit!" He said, feeling his anger at his sister rise. "Jughead! How could you want someone like her? You never know when she's going to self destruct!" She said, her arms flying around. "What happens when she relapses? How will you two ever have a normal relationship outside of here? I think you just want to fix her..." she started but was cut off by jughead. "NO! YOU'RE WRONG!" He roared. "I LOVE HER!" He screamed. "I love her! And she's so strong, stronger than anyone I've ever known, you have no idea what she's been through, so don't you dare come here and judge her, and label her like you know her!" He yelled. "Because you don't!" He states. "Jug~" jellybean started, wide eyed as she watched her brother yell. "Save it!" He cut her off. "Get out! Go back home... I don't want to see you right now!" He demand, storming out the room, in search for his girlfriend, leaving his sister standing there, shocked and guilty...

Jughead searched all over for Betty, but didn't find her. She wasn't in her room, or his office and Kevin hadn't seen her. As he was about to go and look outside, Reggie stopped him. "Jug! There's someone in reception for you" Reggie told him. "If it's my sister I don't want to see her right now" he scoffed. "It's not, you need to come" Reggie explained, and jughead sighed, as he followed his friend. As he got to reception, he was greeted by two familiar faces; Fred and Mary Andrews. "Jughead!" Fred said when he spotted him. "Mr Andrews? Mrs Andrews? What are you doing here?" Jughead asked, confused. "We got a call off Betty..." Mary exclaimed and jugheads eyes widened in surprise. "She was sobbing and she was having what sounded like a panic attack, we couldn't make out what she was saying but she seemed really distraught" Fred added. "We were worried" Mary said. "Is she okay?" She asked and jughead sighed. "Come with me, we'll talk in my office" jughead said.

Once they were all in his office, jughead explained the situation to Fred and Mary. "I knew you two would start dating, the moment I met you, you two are perfect for each other" Mary said with a small smile. "My sister... she's not normally like that, and I have no idea why she said what she said" jug sighed, rubbing a hand across his face. "Betty was nervous to meet her but I assured her it would be okay" jug said. "I Never ever want to hurt her..." he admitted. "Son... we don't know you that well but we know how much you love Betty, it's obvious. We don't blame you" Fred smiled. "Betty's mother was strict..." Fred started. "I know, bettys told me" jug explained. "Because of how Betty was brought up, she's a people pleaser, she puts others first and doesn't want to be seen anything less than perfect, her mother drilled that into her" Fred continued. "Having your sister say stuff like that, just makes her feel like she's not enough. It's not your fault" Mary smiled, reassuring jughead. Before jughead could respond, Reggie opened the door. "Kevin found Betty, she's in the day room" he said and the others got up and rushed to Betty.

When Betty saw Fred and Mary, she burst into tears and ran over to them, hugging them tightly. "Hey sweetie, it's okay" Fred comforted her. "I'm sorry for worrying you" Betty sniffed, pulling away. "It's okay, we're just glad you're okay" Mary Said, kissing Betty's head. "We've missed you" Fred smiled. "I've missed you too" Betty cried. "You're doing so well Betty, we're so proud" Fred told her. "You are! You'll be home before you know it" Mary said, hugging Betty again. "I think there's someone else who wants a hug..." Fred whispered with a smirk and looked over at jughead who was watching them. Betty nodded and pulled away from Fred and Mary. She locked eyes with jughead and he couldn't tell what she was thinking. But before he could do anything, Betty was flying at him, jumping in his arms as her legs wrapped around his waist and her arms around his neck, crying into his neck. "I'm sorry" she sobbed. "No, no baby... I'm so sorry about jellybean" Jug said, rubbing his hands up and down her back. "It's not your fault, I'm sorry for running off" she apologised. "Don't apologise betts. You're nothing that she said... I love you... so much" he said, pulling her back so he could look at her. "I love you elizabeth cooper" he said and Betty finally smiled. "I love you too jughead Jones" she said, before finally connecting their lips.
