The next morning, jughead and the doctors were in Betty's hospital room, sorting everything out so that she could be discharged. Betty hadn't wiped the smile off her face the whole morning; not only had she kissed jughead, she was also seeing her family today. "Okay! You're all set" the doctor announced and handed jughead Betty's discharge papers and some more paper work to go in Betty's file. "Thank you" Betty said and hopped off the bed but was still weak and felt dizzy. "Careful..." Jug said as he held her arms. "Yeah. You'll still be feeling weak and dizzy for a while" the doctor informed her and Betty nodded. "Okay, come on betts, let's get you back to your room" Jug smiled and helped to lead her to her room.

"God I've missed my bed!" Betty sighed dramatically, flopping onto the bed and instantly cuddling up into her pink fluffy blanket she'd brought with her. "You're cute" he smiled and she grinned. "Come here" she said and patted the bed next to her. He went over and sat down, kissing her softly. "I really like kissing you" she sighed, against his lips. "I really like kissing you too" he smiled, kissing the tip of her nose. "Are you ready to see your family?" He asked. "Yeah" she said. "I just... I want them to see I'm doing okay, I don't want them to focus on me collapsing" she sighed. "They won't betts, I'll be with you the whole time Okay? And I'll tell them about all your progress" he smiled. "Okay" she nodded. "Okay, I have to go and sort some stuff out but I'll come and get you before everyone arrives okay?" He said, standing up. "Okay" she said. "You get some proper rest okay?" He smiled, trailing a finger across her cheek. "Okay" she smiled. He kissed her one last time before leaving her room. When Jughead left, Betty decided to take a shower and wash off the hospital germs before seeing her family. She got changed and was lounging on her bed before the door swung open and Kevin waltzed in. "You excited for family day?" He said and she nodded. "Yeah. Are you?" She asked and he nodded. "Yeah my dads coming" he said.

"Hey betts, you ready?" Jughead said as he walked into her room, seeing Betty and Kevin lounging on her bed. "Oh hey Kevin" Jug smiled. "Hi" Kevin waved. "I better go and see my dad. See you in a bit B" Kevin said and hugged Betty before leaving. Jughead watched as Betty fiddled with her fingers nervously. "Hey betts? It's going to fine" he smiled, crouching in front of her and holding her hands. "I know I'm just nervous" she sighed. "You'll be okay" he reassured her. "What if I dig my nails in?" She whispered and jughead knew she was scared to go back on her progress; so he shrugged his hoodie off and put it on her. "There. If you feel the need to dig your nails in, just pull the sleeves down and dig into the material" he said. Betty looked at him for a moment before kissing him and hugging him tightly. "Thank you" she said. "Your welcome" be Said and kissed her head. "Now come on, let's go and see your family" he smiled, holding a hand out for her.

"Betty!" Archie grinned when she walked out. Archie rushed over to her and wrapped her up in a hug. "B! I've missed you so much!" Veroncia smiled as she hugged Betty. "I've missed you both too!" Betty said. "Betty!" Fred Said and Betty rushed over and hugged Mary and Fred. "You look really well Betty" Mary smiled. "Thank you" Betty smiled. "Come and sit!" Betty said and lead them to a table where they all sat down and jughead sat next to Betty. "Guys this is jughead. My counsellor and friend" she introduced and everyone said hello. "So how have you been getting on?" Mary asked and Betty looked down so jughead took her hand under the table. "She's been doing really well. She's attended all sessions and has been completing the little tasks I set her" jughead informed them and they nodded, happily. "However there was a small slip up" jughead said cautiously and watched as everyone's fact turned worried. "Betty got permission to use the gym here and she pushed herself a bit too hard and collapsed and she's been in the infirmary for a couple of days" jughead explained. "Oh my god are you okay?" Archie asked. "I'm fine" Betty sighed. "It's all okay now, and Betty knows she can't push her limits like that" jughead said. "She just doesn't want you to think about that and not all the positive progress she's made" jughead added. "Of course not honey, we're so proud of you" Fred smiled and grabbed her hand over the table. "Thank you" Betty said. "So tell me what have I missed back home?" Betty asked.

After catching up with her friends and family, Betty excused herself to go and grab a hot chocolate. "He's cute" she heard veroncia say from behind her. "What?" Betty asked. "Jughead" Veronica smiled. "You two are together aren't you?" Veroncia asked. "How did you know?" Betty said. "anyone can see it B" veroncia laughed. "I'm happy for you, you deserve happiness the most" Veronica said, hugging Betty. "Thank you. I love you V" Betty whispered. "I love you too" veroncia smiled. "We brought you a few books, so you have something to do" veroncia Said when they pulled away. "Really?" Betty grinned as they walked back to the table. "Yes really" Veronica giggled. "Thank you!" Betty said, sitting back down and lacing her and jugheads fingers together.
