Budo paced around the waiting room. Oh god I hope she's OK. Also what kind of parents don't come to their daughter's surgery? He thought. Mei was in surgery getting something done to her arm. Budo started stressing and slightly sweating when the doctor walked out. "You family?" He asked. "Boyfriend." Budo said. "Oh well in that case, Mei has just came out of surgery and is fine. She'll be staying in hospital for a few days though. Her condition is stable and you can visit her." He said and pointed to a small room. "OK, thanks doc." Budo said as he walked into the small room. Mei was sitting in the bed, looking at the  TV. He knocked on the wall "Hey, Mei!" Budo said. He slowly walked in as she smiled. He then sat on the bed next to her. "How ya feeling?" He asked her. "Good. Kinda painful..." Mei said. She looked around and asked Budo, "Where are my parents?" Budo looked at her and then got out his phone. "Here, let me call them!" He dialed their number, put it on speakerphone and Mr. Mio picked up. "Budo!?" He said. "Hey, Mr. Mio, just saying that Mei is out of surgery and wants to talk to you! She's next to me." Budo smiled at Mei and she motioned for him to give her the phone. She took off speaker phone and talked to her Dad.
Dad: Mei are you OK? How are you feeling? Have you eaten? Why is Masuta with you!?
Mei: Everything is fine, Dad! Budo's  here, he actually came as soon as he heard I was in surgery and he's been here the whole time! He said he's gonna be here every day until I get well!
Dad: we're coming right now. See you then.
Mei:  OK, Dad! Bye!
Mei hung up then gave the phone to Budo. He smiled as he softly kissed her forehead. "I was literally so worried about you! I was sweating when the doctor came out! At least you're OK. That's all that matters." He said softly. "You worry about me? That's so sweet!" Mei said as she pulled him down by his T-shirt and kissed him. They both blushed.
