"There's a helicopter waiting for us on the roof of that building!" Sam pointed and I handed Bucky a gun.

"Go with Sam I'll hold 'em off to buy you time." I said and he nodded, I handed him his backpack and he smiled. The guards were all starting to gain consciousness and Bucky knew it too. But before he flew off with Sam he grabbed me and kissed my cheek. "Be careful." He said and then flew off with Sam and I was still blushing like crazy.

I grabbed one of the guards guns and if they fired at me I fired back. I saw Black Panther run after Bucky and Sam so I fired at him, and he turned to me.

"You're gunna wish you hadn't done that."

"Am I?" I answered and he charged at me. He tried clawing me but I was ducking and blocking all his shots.

He was getting frustrated and becoming more sloppy with his work. He eventually scratched me down my back and I let out a cry of pain. He pushed me to the ground and ran after Bucky.

I felt gentle and soft  hands on me, it was Steve. "We need to get you out of here." He said and helped me run to the roof. My back was dripping blood and it hurt like a bitch

Bucky was already fighting Panther and Sam had the chopper close by when we got to the roof

I knew Bucky could handle him so Steve helped me onto the helicopter and then he climbed in.

Sam started to fly and he began firing at Black Panther. "Watch out Sam, don't hit Bucky!" I yelled and he turned the copter and started to fly towards Bucky

He jumped in and we sped off. Tony wasn't even anywhere in sight.

Sam, Steve, Bucky, Wanda, and I were all crammed inside this small helicopter. "What the hell?!" I yelled.

"What's wrong?" Steve asked and I started laughing. "We almost just got arrested!" I said and Bucky put a hand on my back and I cringed from the pain.

"What's wrong?" He mumbled and looked at my back and he gasped. "I'm so sorry, I didn't even know." He said and he pulled his hand off me.

"It's not your fault." I mumbled and looked at his now bloody hand. "She needs medical care or it'll get infected." Steve said and I sighed. I closed my eyes and put my hands to my face

"Tony has some new friends I see." Wanda said and she helped me take off my sweater. "Thanks Wanda." I said and I looked at my bloody sweater.

"They are very serious about this." I said and Bucky handed me a water and I drank it. "Sorry for that scare Bucky." I said and he grabbed my hand.

"I was more scared I got you into some trouble." He was very close to me right now and I felt a little sweaty and nervous. This only happens when he gets close to me, it's a good feeling. "Remember, I promised I'd get you out of anything."

Steve coughed awkwardly and I leaned back. "Did you guys make any progress?" I asked and they all stayed quiet.

"We'll take that as a no." Bucky said and we all sighed. "It's good to see you guys are all safe, but where's Clint?" I asked

"He's making some new friends, finding new recruits for us."

~hours later~

Bucky helped me out of the helicopter and we walked inside the base. Clint is the only one who knows about this place besides Fury. We all walked inside and a nurse walked up to me and Bucky came with me to get the wounds cleaned.

"What happened to you?"

"She was scratched with three metal blades, does it look infected?" Bucky asked and the nurse poured something on it that burned.

"You'll be fine in no time, now what about you, your arm and face is all cut up?" She asked Bucky and he scoffed.

"It's nothing, I'm fine I'm just worried about her."

"Bucky, that could get infected..." I said and he smiled. "Fine." He said and the nurse examined it. I watched her carefully and she cleaned out his wound and he was watching me.

"Do you ever want to get your hair cut?" I asked randomly and he shrugged. "If you want me to, do you like it long?"

"I think it looks good, but I was just wondering because we can get it cut if you don't like it."

"Look, you're the only person I want to impress. If you think I'll look better with it short, I'll get it cut." I was blushing like crazy and looked away.

"You two are such a cute couple." The nurse smiled. She wakes out before either of us could deny it. "I think your hair looks good no matter what. You're gunna be hot still no matter what you do to it." I said and he smiled.

"Let's go eat." He said and held his arm out for me. I locked mine with his and we started walking to get something to eat. "Bucky, can I talk with you?" Steve came out of nowhere and asked.

"Uh, yeah." He said and let go of me. I watched them walk off and I was left alone. I walked alone to the cafeteria and sat by myself. I grabbed some food and started to eat.

Today was a bad day, we've made no progress at all and almost it caught today. I didn't expect everyone to take all he fighting this far.

And we still have Hydra on our backs too. So we need to stop them as well as Tony

"You ditched me?" Bucky said and snapped me out of my thoughts then sat down across from me. "Actually, I think it's the other way around." I said and he took an apple off my plate

"What'd Steve want?" I asked and he grabbed my hand.

"He wants me to go out on a mission with him." He said and I was a little upset, Bucky and I haven't been separated from each other in over 5 weeks.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"He said its private, we leave tonight." He said and I started to cough on my food. "Tonight? How long will you be gone?"

"We don't know."

"Well can you tell me who is gunna be there?".

"It's just one step to helping us stop Hydra, I thought you'd want that."

"I do Bucky, you know that. It's just, never mind."

He didn't say anything else after that and we both parted ways. I was going to say that I just don't want him to leave because I'll miss him to much and worry to much but, I can't say that. It's selfish of me to even think

I spent the rest of the day settling in to our new home and felt sad Bucky was leaving. He was the only person I want to see right now, but at the same time I'm still upset with him for leaving.

I heard a knock on my door and opened it to see Bucky with a bag over his shoulder. "Shouldn't you be on a plane right now?" I asked and he looked down.

"I couldn't go, not without saying goodbye to my best girl."

I blushed and shoved him lightly. "Even when I'm upset with you, you still make me laugh."

"I'll miss you, I'll come back soon and we can hang out." He said and I hugged him. He kissed my cheek and I smiled and we both pulled back and were starring at each other intensely

"This is for good luck." I said and kissed him. He dropped his bag off his shoulder and kissed me back, I put both my hands in his hair as lightly pulled on it. This was the most sensational and magical kiss I've ever gotten

"Do you have to go?" I asked and he kissed me again.

"I'm sorry, but I've wanted to do that since we first met on the shore of the lake I saved you from." He ignored my original question and but I still blushed at his words .

"Bucky, please stay..." I begged and he sighed. "I'll come back, don't worry." He smiled and grabbed my hand. We kissed again and I felt sparks between us, it was passionate and perfect. Now, I really don't want him to leave.

I walked with him to the jet they were flying out on and watched him load on board with Steve and they both waved goodbye to me.
