"What happened out there today Ky?" Bucky asked after twenty minutes of silence.

This wasn't awkward, we were spaced out pretty far and we both had enough blanket. The clock read 12:38am and we were both wide awake.

"I have no idea." I honestly answered.

"So many bad things happened." He said and I reached over and grabbed his hand. "I know Bucky."

"And I just wish none of this happened. I want to be happy Ky, I hate this." I rolled over to Bucky and wanted to cry.

And I did.

"Why are you crying? Did I say something?" He asked and I sat up.

"No, no," I said in between breaths.

"Then why are you crying Ky?" He asked and put his metal hand on my back. "You just, deserve to be happy. I. I... I want you to be happy and live in the perfect world Buck. You deserve so much better than what you've gotten lately." I cried and he sat up and hugged me.

"That's the sweetest thing anyone's said to me."

"I'm serous. I wish you never went through this."

"Yeah, but then I never would've met you..." He said and I blushed. Thank goodness the lights were off or I'd be as red as a tomato.

"That's the sweetest thing anyone's ever said to me." I said and he leaned back on the head board. He wiped the tears off my cheeks. "Really? I thought boys would always be all over you. You're so beautiful." He said and I playfully punched him.

I looked down and could feel the best on my cheeks. "Bucky....you're making me blush."

"Yeah, I can tell. You're practically glowing right now." He said and laughed. "You're such a flirt, and after all we went through today" I said and we laid back down and went back to our places.

We weren't touching at all right now, and I fell asleep with a smile on my face thanks to Bucky Barnes.

~one hour later, 1:50am~

"Please, don't..." I heard someone mumble. I opened my eyes to see Bucky sweating and shaking a little. "Begging won't make me change my mind. You're dead." He breathed and whispered.

"imi pare atat de rau" he mumbled in Romanian. Which means 'I'm so sorry.' I shook him awake and he opened his eyes right away.

"You were having a nightmare..."

"Did I wake you?" He asked. "That's not important." I said and he sat up. "Are you alright?" I asked and he nodded.

"It's nothing." He said. "Bucky, if it was that bad, it had to have been something." I said and he sighed. "It was just one of my missions. It was a family of someone who worked at Shield, it just reminds me of what I've done."

"I'm sorry." I whispered and hugged him. He and I both leaned back down but we held onto each other.

He and I were spooning and it didn't feel wrong. I think that's the fastest I've ever fallen asleep.

~morning~

I woke up with a cool weight on my waist, I opened my eyes to see Bucky's metal arm on my waist, and he was asleep beside me.

I turned over and he pulled me closer to him. "Good morning" he mumbled with a morning voice. "Morning." I said and he let me go.

I looked at him and he smiled. "Have any more nightmares?" I asked and he shook his head no. "That's really good." I smiled and he did to.

"That's the first night, in forever I think, where I didn't have a nightmare."

Someone knocked on our door and I quickly got out of bed, so no one knew Bucky and I were cuddling. I opened the door to see Steve standing there looking anxious. "Can I talk with you?" He asked and looked at me. "Yeah, come in." I said and he looked at Bucky.

"Alone." He whispered.

I walked into the hallway with him and he hugged me quickly. "What's this all about?" I asked and he let go.

"We are heading out, the rest of us. You and Bucky need to stay here. The government has issued an immediate arrest for Bucky." He said and I sighed.

"So, why are you leaving us?"

"Bucky is safe with you, you have the cleanest record of us all. So if somehow the police arrest you... They can't hold anything against you. And I cant help if I'm stuck here." Steve said

"So you are all just leaving?"

"For a few weeks, yes. We are gunna find out as much as we can about what's going on. Please don't argue, you're the only one I trust with Bucky, and he trusts you..."

"Alright Steve, but please don't get hurt, and come back to us." I said and hugged him, he kissed my forehead and I squeezed on a little tighter to him.

"You got it, now you take care of Bucky for me." He said and I nodded. "We're leaving now, good luck, we put weapons under the sink in the kitchen in case, now I'm gunna say bye to Bucky, you mind giving us a moment?" He asked and I nodded.

I walked downstairs and everyone was dressed and all talking in the living room. "Uh, so you're all leaving?"

"Yup" Wanda said and she walked over to me. I hugged her and wanted to go with her. "You're like my sister Wanda, be safe."

"You too, I love you" she said and I let go. "It's been a fun two years with you kid, I'll miss ya." Sam smiled and hugged me.

"Good luck." I said and hugged Clint.

"You be careful with Bucky, if he tries to hurt you, I will come back here, and personally kick his ass." Clint said and we heard a cough. I turned behind me and Steve and Bucky were there. I hope they didn't hear that

"Well, goodbye, and good luck." Bucky said and they all smiled and left.

What happens now?...
