34.

Jimin sat up abruptly and his eyes shot wide open. It was dark around him and he sighed relieved. What a crazy dream.

He laid back down and then he felt it. A warm breath on his skin making his hairs stick up. He patted the person next to him and this made them scoot closer and wrapped around him tighter.

Jimin's heart raced.

The last thing he recalled was getting fucked up after reading that text on Chanyeol's phone. Bits and pieces came back to him. Crying in front of Vernon and walking up to Yoongi's room.

For a second, he forgot to breathe. The throbbing headache was strong but not as strong as the nervousness shooting in his system. He slowly grabbed his phone and touched the screen.

It was currently six in the morning. He turned the phone towards the person next to him and he saw Yoongi deep asleep. Jimin also noticed that he was shirtless.

He closed his eyes attempting to collect his racing thoughts but it was hard to tell reality from truth. He couldn't tell what was real or not.

The fact that he was in bed with Yoongi shirtless only jumbled his thoughts more. He remembered...kissing him? Jimin started hyperventilating. What the hell was wrong with him? Why did he come look for him?

He started to move his arm and it only made Yoongi grip him tighter. His body was pressed on Jimin's side and suddenly his member twitched in his pants.

What a weird timing for morning wood.

He slowly kept moving his arm to loosen his grip and eventually he was able to set himself free. He quietly got off the bed and used his phone light to gather his belongings.

Jimin was horrified when he saw his shirt and jacket on opposite sides of the room. His boots were under the bed along with one sock. He couldn't find the other one and eventually gave up putting his clothes and shoes back on.

He smelled rancid. His head was throbbing and his body felt sticky. He must've sweat so much throughout the night and he suddenly felt guilty.

Not only for stinking Yoongi's sheets, but because he was sneaking out without saying bye. He needed to know what happened before talking to him.

His mind was circling even though he wasn't as dizzy as last night. The alcohol level must've been coming down to normal now.

Even though he was extremely silent and careful when opening up the door to peek, Chan's eyes immediately went to the door.

Jimin's face turned red as he shamefully stepped out. The lights in the hallway were so bright it made him feel like his eyes would burst any second.

At that moment he wished he could have carved them out. It was better than the stinging sensation that made him feel this way.

He should've known better than to mix beers and tequila shots.

The walk of shame past Chan was horrifying to say the least. Jimin was ten steps away from the elevator when he turned back around.

It just occurred to him that if anyone had answers it was Chan. When he stood in front of him, his face was a fiery red.

Chan slowly looked up and he too looked embarrassed which wasn't a good sign. "Can I help you?" He asked quietly.

"Chan, when is your shift over?"

"Sir, I'll have you know that Yoongi is my patient and I do not get involved in his personal life an-"

"I need to know what happened. You're the only one that can—" Jimin winced, applying pressure to his temples. "Help me. You're the only one that knows what happened."

"Oh that."

Jimin felt himself cringe at him emphasizing that. It wasn't a good sign at all. "Yeah. That." He mumbled.

Chan remained quiet for a moment. He debated it and finally responded knowing he shouldn't get involved, but even if he didn't want to it was too late.

"My shift ends in fifteen minutes. It has to be brief. I've been up all night."

Jimin started panicking because that meant that Taehyung would show up any second. "Okay! I'll be down in the cafeteria." He ran towards the elevator but then changed his mind and took the stairs.

If Taehyung was already heading up, encountering him in the elevator would be inevitable.

Ten excruciating minutes later, he was downstairs in the cafeteria. Jimin was in pretty good shape. He worked out regularly so his stamina was high. The only difference was that this time he had a horrible hangover and the worst headache of his life.

He took a seat on a booth as he blew the plain black coffee to attempt to take a sip. His stomach was a mess. The nausea he had was bad. He didn't think he could eat in days.

He hoped his Uber would be on time because he still had to go pick up his car. As he waited for Chan, he kept thinking of Yoongi and what happened earlier that morning.

A part of him told him he was missing something important. Something that was meaningful. Had they made up? Jimin assumed so since he woke up in bed to him but that didn't explain why he was shirtless.

His face flushed at the thought of stripping down in front of Yoongi. Fuck, what had he done? He was imagining the worst. Did he have drunk sex with Yoongi?

Closing his eyes tightly while murmuring insulting things to himself didn't make him feel any better. It's not that he didn't find Yoongi attractive because that was not the case.

Yoongi was handsome, sweet and fun. However, if they had sexual intercourse it would only confuse Yoongi more especially since they had set boundaries. Hell, Jimin was confused himself.

He could understand why the drunk version of him came to seek for Yoongi. Of course it was because he wanted to make up for the argument but it had also been because he missed him.

Jimin couldn't function without Yoongi in his life. He didn't know how or when, but Yoongi became a necessity for him. Without him, Jimin felt incomplete.

And yet his emotions remained tangled up. His feelings towards Yoongi was something he didn't understand. He couldn't tell if it was friendship or a possible love interest.

"I figured you'd be sick." Chan said.

Jimin opened his eyes and saw a pack of salty crackers and a medication cup with three greenish capsules and a small white one.

"The white is dissolvable." He stated taking a seat.

"Thanks." Jimin murmured nibbling on a cracker before taking the three green capsules and then the white one. He surprisingly didn't need water to swallow them even though his mouth was dry. The coffee was too hot to drink.

"Wow. You're not going to question what I gave you?"

"You're a nurse. I doubt you will try to poison me."

"Fair enough. The green capsules are ibuprofen. White one is Zofran for nausea."

"I appreciate it."

"So how can I help you?"

"I need to know what happened last night."

Chan raised his eyebrows, "So you really don't recall any of it?"

Jimin nodded, "I mean some parts I do but it's hard to tell what's real or not."

"You showed up right before midnight. I could tell you were tipsy, but I guess you were really drunk. Vernon called me to tell me you cried so hard downstairs stating you needed to speak to your boyfriend because he was mad. I gave you some time with him because I felt bad for you. By the time it was close to one in the morning, I walked in and you two were already sleeping. I didn't want to wake Yoongi up so I let it slide."

Jimin's face was a little red from the embarrassment. "Anything else? Do you know what happened while I was in the room?"

Chan's face was the red one now, "I'll rather not go in detail."

"Please! I need to know!" Jimin regretted raising his voice because it made the throbbing temple headache magnify.

"Fine, I walked in and you were getting sucked. Is that what you want to hear?"

Jimin's mouth dropped open and he felt his whole body get hot. He was blushing bad enough it was making him sweat.

"What?"

"Yeah. I walked in and you were leaning over the bed frame and cursing and...."

Chan's words struck something in Jimin.  He felt a wave of relief fall through him. He laughed a little until his headache made him stop. Any movement seemed to intensify the pain.

"Trust me. He was not giving me head. I stubbed my toe on the bed frame while trying to reach for the ceiling light and then..."

Jimin's smile slowly faded. Reality crushed him like a cold bucket of water sending chills down his spine until it settled in his stomach.

"I don't know what's wrong with me."

"Sometimes I get the urge to touch you. To kiss you."

Jimin covered his face with his hands. Everything hit him at once, disrupting his stomach once again. He hadn't been sucked off, far worse he had told Yoongi things he didn't even know he felt.

"From the looks of it something did happen. Better get a good rest before speaking to him." Chan said before excusing himself.

Jimin groaned, gripping his hair until it ached. He had fucked up big time. He couldn't deny the fact that he had an attraction towards Yoongi. He just couldn't get through because he also had feelings towards Chanyeol.

He got a notification that his Uber was outside so he made his way over. Before he could even get on, his phone started ringing.

Panic fell over him seeing Chanyeol's name on the screen. Then he recalled the text message he received. Everything was starting to get really complicated.

"Fuck." He murmured as his finger slid across the screen.

"Hey Jimin. I was worried about you. Sorry to bug you so early I'm out of my morning jog."

"Oh hey Chanyeol. Running so early after drinking last night? I commend you."

Chanyeol laughed on the other end as his heart spiked up. He signaled his Uber driver to hold for a moment. If he felt bad enough he'd end up puking and he didn't want to pay extra for messing up his Uber drivers car.

"Well, I didn't drink nearly as much as you did."

"Oh gosh. Yeah, I figured."

"Hey it's all good. We had to celebrate. Do you want to meet up after your tutoring session?"

"My tuto—oh shit. I forgot—I—goodness." Jimin pressed his hand over his mortified face. All he wanted to do was shower and lay down.

Chanyeol chuckled yet again, "I see you woke up super confused and forgetful this morning."

You have no fucking idea.

"Yeah. I kind of did."

"Tell you what, we can postpone this for a later time once you recuperate from the hangover. We could hang out during fall break. It's coming up."

Jimin bit his lip disappointed but it was for the best. He needed to clear things up with Yoongi before moving forward. The situation would only get worse if he chose to ignore it.

"Yes. Okay. Sounds good."

"See you Monday!"

"Bye Chanyeol. See you then."

Finally, he got in his Uber and gave him the directions towards the place they had dinner at. He closed his eyes when the car started to move.

He was no longer drunk but he still felt like he was spinning.

"Oh hell no. He took your virginity and hasn't contacted you in two days?" Jin screamed with a red face.

"Shhh!" Yoongi said, smacking him on the shoulder. "He didn't take my virginity. We only kissed."

"Uh-Uh. I will fuck him up. I will fuck this mother fucker up. Taking advantage of our friend! Our baby!"

Jeongyeon nodded her head angrily, "Yeah! No one messes with the baby!"

"I'm older than you." Yoongi pointed.

"No, no you are the baby and that's that."

"What is wrong with him? How does he show up and disrupt your life and leave you hanging?" Jin asked.

"It was wrong. What we did...it wasn't right. I shouldn't have allowed him to kiss me because he was drunk. He got carried away."

"You didn't force him to do it. He did it willingly." Jin defensively said.

"Not to mention everything he told you. Haven't you heard that drunk people always tell the truth?" Jeongyeon asked.

Yoongi sighed leaning back on his chair. "It doesn't matter. I shouldn't have allowed him to kiss me. It probably meant something different to him than it did to me."

Jeongyeon and Jin exchanged worried looks as their friend sat there being dreadful. Yoongi was deeply disappointed in himself for once again setting himself up for failure.

He knew where this would go. He knew how it would end so it was pointless to make himself think otherwise.

"You have to text him." Jin suggested.

"He has to respond and if he doesn't we know where he lives." Jeongyeon squinted her eyes angrily.

"You don't know where he lives." Yoongi chuckled, not moving from his spot.

"I can figure it out. I've got my ways."

"Yeah, yeah."

Yoongi kept replaying that night in his head. It was engraved into his psyche to the point that he knew he would never forget it.

Suddenly, he heard whispers coming from his friends so he looked towards their direction. His eyes widened once he saw that they had his phone.

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing! We're simply helping you type a message for whenever you feel ready to—"

"Ahh!" Yoongi snatched the phone from them, his heart stupidly racing at the thought of messaging him. In all reality he didn't even know if he wanted to see him or speak to him.

The whoosh noise caused all of them to look over at his phone which was being held in the air. Yoongi's face drained of blood in pure panic.

"Oh fuck." He mumbled as he slowly brought the phone down and stared at the message.

"Jimin, I haven't heard from you. Do you want to meet up and talk about"

They hadn't even finished typing the message but it was still as nerve-racking as if it were complete. His breath hitched noticing the read 1514 under the unfinished text.

The three dots with the bubble appeared indicating he was typing. Yoongi didn't move his eyes from the bubble. He was glued to the screen though his stomach felt uneasy.

The nausea struck him hard. His mouth started over producing saliva and it was getting hard to swallow it back.

"Yes. I agree. We do need to talk. Can't today. I'll stop by someday next week."

"So? What did he say?" Jin asked.

Yoongi locked his phone back up. His veins suddenly filled with ice. Overpowering the nerves and butterflies.

He hadn't expected such a colorless reply.
