18.

Jin looked at his schedule as he finished signing into his program. When he saw the first name on his schedule his eyes nearly popped out of his socket.

Kim Namjoon.

He looked around to his other coworkers wondering if they had seen him quietly freak out, but luckily they were all in their own stuff.

There was no way that it was the same Kim Namjoon. He didn't even know where he worked or what he did for a living. There was no fu—

In a matter of seconds, his name turned pink meaning he was checked in. He took a deep breath and got up from his chair approaching the front desk.

"Hyuna please tell me—"

Before he could finish his sentence, the breath was knocked out of him. Namjoon, freakishly lanky Namjoon, stood in front of her window with a bright smile on his face.

"Hi Jin!"

Jin's eye twitched as he forced a smile digging his fingernails in his palm. "Hi. Looks like you're ready for a cleaning! Why don't you come back?" He asked.

"I haven't printed his ticket yet."

"Don't worry, just bring it to me when you have it." He murmured as he rushed to open the door.

Namjoon came back and Jin pointed to his room. Once he made it inside, he observed the unfamiliar surroundings.

Jin had some drawings on his wall which he assumed were from Hoseok based on his drawing style. He also noted a picture of him with three sugar gliders.

Namjoon smiled at the cuteness, but was soon startled by Jin closing the door behind quite harshly. He didn't have to see him to know that he was livid.

"Are you following me around?"

"Me? No. I just needed a dental cleaning."

He shook his head, his eye twitching getting worse. It happened when he got overly anxious and stressed. To be honest he was afraid one day his eyes would pop out from the extreme stress.

"I'm not here to pussyfoot around bitch. Tell me what the fuck is up."

"Pussyfoot?" Namjoon asked, bewildered at his foul language.

"Yes I will fuck—"

A knock on the door interrupted them. Jin opened the door and changed his expression with the lady that was handing him the ticket.

"Thank you Hyuna!"

As soon as he closed the door his expression hardened once again. Namjoon could really tell he didn't like him one bit.

"You should really get that eye twitching checked out. It hasn't stopped." Namjoon tried to touch his face.

Jin quickly stepped back, "Why're you here?" He wondered self consciously, pressing his fingers against his eye for a few seconds.

Namjoon brought his hand down to remove his jacket. He still wore a long coat even though it was the middle of April.

He had a light blue shirt underneath his dark blue thin sweater with a brown tie peeking through. Jin scanned further down and noticed his brown pants and white vans.

Fuck, he was so nerdy.

"I'm here to get a cleaning, but I also hoped to get a word with you." He said putting his coat and brown satchel down on an extra chair.

He sat on the bed and looked up at the ceiling, noticing that Jin had put a picture of a duck there. He grinned, "Nice touch."

"Don't compliment my duck." Jin angrily said. Why was this man so unfazed by his clear resentment towards him?

"You like Hoseok and I like him too. That's the real reason I'm here. Every time I try to talk to you, you shut me away by cursing or screaming. I can tell you're scared because I'm competing with you."

Jin scoffed, "Competition? Please."

"I am. You're scared I'm going to take Hoseok away from you, but you do realize he isn't yours right?"

Jin's anger boiled through his veins. The eye twitching was out of control now. "He's not yours either." He snapped back.

"Of course he isn't. We've talked about this Jin. People aren't property. Hoseok belongs to no one but himself."

"Okay so you're here to teach me your kindergarten shit?"

"No, I'm here because I want to ask Hoseok out. I want to tell you straight to your face my intentions with him. I don't want to blindside you because I can tell that what you feel for him is strong."

"You—you can't ask him out!" He shrieked. Was he actually scared of Namjoon?

"Yes I can. I like him a lot. I want to keep getting to know him."

"How can you confess that to him when you haven't even known him for two whole months?"

"Because I know what I feel. What's the worst thing he could say? We would remain friends regardless. I have to at least try. I suggest you do the same. Waiting around hasn't done you any good now has it?"

Jin's heart sank to his stomach. If only he had asked him out on Valentine's Day like he had planned. If only he hadn't waited so long then maybe they'd be in a relationship right now and he wouldn't have to worry about new threats.

He snapped back to reality at the touch of Namjoon's warm hand. Though it was big and veiny, his skin was soft as cotton.

"We will do it together and let him decide. No matter what, we can remain friends like mature adults."

Jin quickly snatched his hand away from him, "We're not friends."

"I've touched you more than I've ever touched my friends. We've spent quite a long time together trying to win Hoseok's heart. I can't be that annoying that you don't want a friendship with me. After all, am I not the one encouraging you to confess to him after all this time?"

Jin remained silent for a few seconds as he looked at Namjoon's face. Sure Namjoon was a lot of things. Annoying, overbearing, over touchy, but he was also honest. He always was.

"Lay back please. We will start your cleaning." He said putting on his mask and gloves.

Namjoon did as he was told. Jin slowly brought the table back so he was lower. "I'm just warning you he will end up picking me. He would never choose a person that has dog hair on them."

He laughed, "I also groom pets as a side job. Teaching is my passion but it's not paid well. By the way I wouldn't be so sure that he will pick you."

Jin smiled mischievously, suddenly feeling thrilled by the competition. "We will see about that."

"Yoongi?" His mom asked through the phone.

"Yes?" He asked, turning his attention back to her.

"I said how are Jimin and you doing?" She asked. Yoongi zoned back out recalling the awful nightmare he had earlier that morning.

Apparently swimming with Jimin had raised some concerns about himself and he couldn't understand why. He had never cared about his appearance but then again he had never had a reason to care.

"Come on. Take off your clothes for me." Jimin said.

"You wouldn't like it." Yoongi whispered embarrassedly.

"Of course I will. I promise."

"Hello? Honey, are you okay?"

"I'm sorry mom. Yeah, I'm fine. I had a rough night last night."

"Is everything okay? I will head over—"

"You don't have to come. I'm fine. It wasn't medical related. I just had a hard time falling asleep." It was difficult to fall asleep again after a bad nightmare.

"Is it Jimin?" She asked, a bit worried. She knew Yoongi was a strong man, but heartbreak was a bitch.

"No, of course it's not him. Jimin is perfect. He's amazing and I really like him."

His mom smiled big and wide, "I'm so happy for you. He's a good man."

"Yeah." Yoongi responded with a smile.

While he kept talking to his mom, Jeongyeon was making her way to the elevator to get to Yoongi's floor. Taehyung and Jungkook sat next to each other working.

Taehyung occasionally looked over at Jungkook, still weirded out by the fact that he was a totally different person outside of work.

"So we have this Thursday off. Are you trying to make it happen?" He asked casually.

"Make what happen?" Taehyung shrieked.

"Go on a date. It doesn't have to be fancy. We can hang out at my place or yours. Watch a show. A movie. A tv commercial. I'm okay with anything really."

Taehyung turned his attention back to his computer before he started blushing. "I have to check my calendar to see what plans I have."

"Okay. I'm looking forward to your response which I'm sure is going to be yes." He responded confidentially.

"How do you do it? To be so confident?" Taehyung wondered because typically Jungkook would be the shy and quiet one.

He smirked, "I looked at myself in the mirror."

Taehyung raised his eyebrows and Jungkook laughed, "Kidding."

"Hello gorgeous men! I'm here to see my bubba." Jeongyeon  interrupted  their conversation.

"Can I see your screening pass?" Taehyung asked, clearing his throat. Why was his heart beating so erratically?

"Sure thing." She grinned.

"Okay. You can go ahead."

"Thank you gorgeous." She winked and headed towards the room.

Luckily, Jungkook got up next to check on Hoseok. Taehyung finally relaxed suddenly feeling like he could breathe again.

"Fear not! I am back!"

"Oh! Mom. I gotta go. Jeongyeon is here."

"Hi ma—!"

Before she could get her word out Yoongi hung up. "Hey, that was rude. You didn't let me finish." She pouted.

"We can call her in a bit. I have another emergency."

"Okay, but first I brought subway! Also, socks!"

"Cool sandwiches. Oh fuck socks too? Thanks! I'm truly running out of them." Now listen here." He began taking out his laptop.

"It's not sandwiches. It's pizza. Yes, I know you're running low on them. Freaking pervert."

"Why didn't you just go to a pizza place?"

"I wanted to be different—you're not even listening. What is making you so jittery?" She questioned as she put the bag down.

She picked up a soggy yellow thing and dropped it in horror once she thought about what it could be. "Is this a condom?"

"A what? Oh no. Who's the pervert now? It was a balloon giraffe."

"Gross. Throw it away. It looks like a soggy bag for dicks."

"Jimin made it for me. It's for memories. Come here."

"Mmm. Collecting weird shit for memories. Sounds like you're in—"

"Help me." He said, turning the laptop towards her.

She sat next to him and stared at the instagram page. "Help you with what? Make an account?"

"Yes! I wanted Jin to be here too but he had to work."

"Okay. I've got you." She grinned, placing her fingers on the keyboard. "Name, Big dick daddy Yoongi, last name Pretty balls Min, age twenty-four fucks, sex about to have it for the first time—"

"Jeongyeon! Are you seriously putting that in?"

She laughed, "Of course not. I'm teasing! Now we just have to enter your email so go on."

Yoongi typed it in and then looked back at her when it asked for a username. "What should it be?"

"Daddy Yoongi 69."

He frowned, "Nice try but that's not happening. I want something that doesn't give away that it's me."

"Mmmm...daddy 69. Just drop your name."

"No, no, that's so...no."

"Fine, how about ilovedicksboobsandteddybears07?"

Jeongyeon was waiting for Yoongi to flip out but he grinned, "Yes! I love that! See that's low key."

She furrowed her eyebrows with a laugh, "I was just trying to be funn—oh okay you've already submitted it."

"I think it blends right in."

"Yeah. It's different for sure. Who are we stalking?"

"Stalking? Why do you assume that I would ever...ahh fuck it. I'm trying to stalk Jimin's love interest."

The look on Jeongyeon's face was quickly recognized by Yoongi. "It's okay. I'm just curious to see that's all."

"Jimin, I don't think that's a good idea. You have feelings for Jimin and I think it'll break your heart."

"I don't have feelings for Jimin. It's a small celebrity crush type of thing. Come on, I just want to know what this dude looks like. I'll be okay."

Jeongyeon sighed. Even if she didn't help him he'd do it on his own. If he had called her it was because he wanted support.

"For starters, finding people on instagram can be tricky. Not everyone uses their given name. It's going to be hard to narrow it down just by his first name. Let's look Jimin up."

"What? No! What if it notifies him that I was looking?"

"Relax. That does not happen and even if it did your username will not give you away."

"What if he doesn't use his name either?" He asked, peeking towards the computer while literally almost laying on her.

"From the looks of it, he uses his name." She smiled quickly looking at Jimin's picture. She clicked on his profile and luckily it wasn't private.

"Woah. He's a pretty mother fucker." Jeongyeon murmured star trucked.

"Fuck yeah he is." Yoongi grinned in delight. It had to be a crime to be that breathtaking.

"But he's my fake boyfriend okay? Mine."

"Ahh geez. That's not fair, you want them all! You want Taehyung, Jungkook, and even Chan."

"Don't you bring Chan into this. He's a cute innocent baby!"

"Well you know what they say about cute innocent men—"

"Shouldn't we get back to the stalking?"

"Oh yeah. Right. If his love interest has an account then Jimin has to follow him. What's his name?" She asked as she clicked on his friends list.

"Chanyeol."

"Chanyeol." She repeated typing his name.

Yoongi held his breath, hoping he wouldn't have a profile. Did he really want to see what this man looked like?

"Ahh ha. There he is."

Yoongi couldn't hold his breath any longer so he let go, but once Chanyeol's profile popped up he felt the need to hold his breath once more.

Tall, muscular, pretty.

The memory of his nightmare came to mind once again as he looked at the pretty man behind the screen.

"What's the matter?"

"N—nothing." Jimin responded with a smile.

"You don't like my body do you?"

Jimin's smile faded, "I'm sorry. I thought seeing you would change my mind but...."

"He's not that pretty." Jeongyeon said.

Once he turned to look at her, he noticed how she was completely infatuated with him. "Yeah? Tell that to the drool on the side of your lip."

"I'm not drooling!"

"Well, now that I know what he looks like I'm over it. They would make a lovely couple. Perfect people belong with each other." He said closing his laptop.

Jeongyeon could sense that seeing Chanyeol had upset him like she expected. She put her arm around him for support.

"You're perfect too. You're very handsome and an incredible person! There's no need to compare yourself to him. How about we eat the pizza huh? It's probably cold by now."

"Sure that's fine. Thank you." He smiled.

As she got up to unpack the food, he looked at his shut laptop once again. He knew he wasn't ugly and that to be terminally sick he looked okay.

So why was he suddenly jealous of a guy he had never even met before?
