Taehyung yawned as he grabbed his phone on his nightstand. He was about to turn the alarm off when he noticed something.

Taehyung smiled before turning the alarm off. His heart beating with happiness and giddiness.

"Hhhmph—" He tried not to scream as he hastily grabbed the nearest pillow he has and covered his face with it.

His feet kicking the air in delight while he rolled over his bed, making weird noises.

Taehyung pulled the pillow away from his face and placed it on his chest with a grin on his face.

"Taehyung? What's wrong?" Taeyeon knocked on the door, catching her son off guard.

Taehyung let out a squeak and covered his mouth. His mother slowly opened the door and peeked her head to his room, "Did something happen?" She asked.

"Nothing..." He said.

"Ooh, wait... It's your birthday today, happy birthday, Taebear!" She smiled and went to hug Taehyung.

Taehyung eagerly returned the hug, happy as fuck, "Thank you, mama." He said, his voice muffled.

"You look really happy, what made you wake up in such a nice mood?" She asked.

"Well, you know Jungkook? The smart kid? Well, while we were hanging out earlier he burrowed my phone but I didn't know why exactly but I didn't mind it too much but apparently, he set an alarm for my birthday. He used that one emoji with a person with a heart on their mouth, mom. How nice is that?" He rambled, his smile never leaving his lips as he told her his mini storytime.

Taeyeon teared up, seeing how happy her son looked after such a long time of not opening up to her made her heart explode with happiness.

If only he could stay longer...
