Motorcycle Ride

"What are we doing tomorrow, Tae?" Jungkook asked. "Motorcycle ride..." Taehyung answered while plucking grass randomly.

"I know how to drive but I don't have one-- oh Yoongi has one." the raven head grinned and turned to look at Taehyung.

"Why do you want to ride a motorcycle, Tae?" Jungkook asked while staring at the brunette's sharp features.

He already noticed and admired the brunette just the first time they met. But unfortunately, Jungkook and Taehyung didn't get along. So they forced themselves to look at each other's imperfections.

It was not like 'how come I never noticed this earlier?'. Jungkook thinks Taehyung is attractive even if they were still rivals. And Taehyung thinks that the raven head is handsome but he will never admit that.

"I don't know... I just think it's cool. Ya' know?" Taehyung giggled stared at the slowly darkening sky.

Jungkook chuckled " It depends on who's driving, I guess." he said and winked at the boy..

"Yeah, I think it'll be cooler because you're the one who's driving." Taehyung turned his head towards the raven head with a fond smile.

Jungkook felt as if he's going to run out of breath by just staring at Taehyung smiling at him. Their friendship was so unexpected but wholesome. Who would thought a simple notebook– a bucket list perhaps, can bring closeness between them?

"Really?" Jungkook chuckled while staring at the brunette with a playful look.

Taehyung just nodded and divert his attention to the now dark sky.

"We should go home now." the brunette mumbled halfheartedly as he didn't want to go home just yet.

"Yup... It's getting dark." Jungkook stood up slowly and dusted off his pants. He held his hands out to help Taehyung get up.

"Same time, same place."

Jungkook stared at the ceiling for an hour now. The brunette never left his mind just after they stargazed.

The raven head will not deny the fact that he likes Taehyung. He likes everything about him. How he randomly become blank or when he blushed but acts like he's mad. Just... everything about him.

Jungkook promised himself to confess just before Taehyung dies.

The raven head really wants Taehyung to live, he wants the brunette to enjoy life more, even if it will cost his own heart.

|--- The Next Day --| Day 11

"Yoongiiii, pleaaaaase–"

"Bro, you're being annoying right now." Yoongi groaned.

"Come on, just for one day." Jungkook whined. The pale boy groaned once again before getting up and grabbing his keys.

They both went out and went to the said motorbike that is currently dusty.

"What the fuck, WHO DREW A PENIS ON MY MOTORBIKE?!" Yoongi yelled in disbelief. Jungkook laughed as he saw some kids running away while giggling.

"Ugh, whatever..." Yoongi rolled his eyes.

"I promise to handle your motorbike with care. Please let me borrow it." Jungkook pouted while Yoongi scoffed.

"Do you even know how to drive?" his best friend frowned as he sipped his hot coffee.

"Of course, Yoongs." the raven head smiled and gave the other a thumbs up.

"If I see any scratches, I'll kill you." Yoongi groaned and fished out a key then gave it to the grinning male in front on him.

"Thanks, Yoong--"

"I'll let you borrow it if you agree on helping me with Jimin." Yoongi smirked.

"Who's Jimin?"

"You know? The one I talked about? Like the cute guy? My new neighbor?" Yoongi said– asked.

"Oh, okay, okay, no worries."

"Be careful, okay? Wear a helmet, too" Taeyeon said while brushing Taehyung's locks out of his eyes with her fingers.

"Okay... " Taehyung said and smiled at her softly. "Thank you for always understanding me, mom. I love you." he said sincerely.

Taeyeon's eyes watered slightly at the boy's words. That simple i love you meant so much to her.

She embraced him and he hugged her back. "I love you, too, bun." Taeyeon said and pecked his forehead.

She needs to find a heart donor just before his time is up.

"Woah... This looks so cool." Taehyung examined the motorbike with wide eyes.

"I know." Jungkook said and chuckled. "Here, wear this." the raven head gave Taehyung a black helmet.

Jungkook wore his helmet and helped Taehyung with his.

"This is so fun!" Taehyung exclaimed as he hugged Jungkook's waist with his chin on the other's shoulder.

Jungkook smiled and focused on the road. "I'm going to show you something." he said and stopped driving. They stopped in front of a forest and Jungkook parked the motorcycle before holding Taehyung's hand.

"Where are we going, Koo?" The brunette's eyes roamed around the aesthetic surrounding, inhaling fresh air.

"Oh, I'm sorry for the nickname.. I didn--"

"It's okay, Tae. It's cute." Jungkook chuckled and walked towards a cliff.

A cliff behind a forest? Wow.

They sat but not on the edge of the cliff. Who knows? It might be weak and can't support their weight.

They can see the sunset very clearly and there's river just below the cliff. Trees and flowers surrounding them peacefully.

The only thing that you'll hear is the chirping of the birds and the rustling of their feet.

"How did you know this place?" Taehyung asked while looking at the soft looking clouds in awe.

Nature never fails to amaze them. It's sad that people are cutting trees but they don't even replant it. What a shame.

"I don't know either. I was so stressed  and just didn't care where I was heading that day." Jungkook shrugged and stared at Taehyung.

"I like the view"

"You do?" Jungkook asked and continued to stare at him.

"Yep..."

"You're my best view." the raven head said while Taehyung blushed madly.

"Taehyungie?" he called out.

The aforesaid male just hummed and avert his attention from the sky to the male sitting beside him.

Jungkook placed his thumb on Taehyung's soft plump lips and rubbing it gently. Eyes filled with admiration.

"I...like you. I don't consider this as love yet since we got along not so long ago but I really like you." Jungkook said, not breaking the eye contact.

Their hearts beating rapidly as they felt a connection.

Jungkook started to lean towards Taehyung who froze with his eyes wide.

Just when their lips are about to lock, Taehyung pulled away with shock.

"N-no..." the brunette's voice cracked as he stared at Jungkook with sadness.

"You c-can't like me, Jungkook. You know that I don't have much time. Today's my e-eleventh day. You shouldn't like me... you shouldn't love m-me." Taehyung's tears started to flow.

"I-I don't want you to get h-hurt." he wiped his tears furiously.

Jungkook sat with a dumbfounded look on his face. He knew Taehyung's going to die, but he didn't knew it was his eleventh day today.

The raven head bit his lips as tears threatened to fall from his eyes.

I forgot that we were timed.

Taehyung launched his body on Jungkook and engulfed him into a tight hug.

Jungkook let his tears out and embraced the brunette and cried on the other's shoulder.

"I don't w-want you to go." the raven head sobbed as he held on to Taehyung like there's not tomorrow.

"I don't want to, either." Jungkook muttered, heart heavy as ever.

"We should head home now... It's getting dark..." Taehyung stood up and reached his hand to help Jungkook up.

"Hey, can I borrow your phone?" The raven-head asked.

"Oh, sure." Taehyung pulled out his phone and handed it over to the other boy.

Jungkook sneakily set an alarm at 12 am for Taehyung's birthday tomorrow just so that he'll be the one who greeted the boy first.
