Angela Esposito and Ned Leeds were attached to the hip ever since they were in diapers. Their parents were extremely good friends, so it would make sense for their children to be good friends as well. Little did their parents expect the friendship they shared couldn't compare to any other.

Throughout the years they stood by each other's side through thick and thin. Ned was there for Angela when her Nona died. There was even a time in the 2nd grade someone had called him fat, so she punched the kid in the face. To this day she had no regrets.

When Ned met Peter Parker, it was expected that Angela would've been replaced. That wasn't the case though. The duo turned into a trio and it had been that way ever since.

Now in high school, things were different. Maybe too different. You guessed it, Ned was crushing on Angela. It was expected from everyone around them, it just wasn't obvious to Angela though.

Their parents would always joke that they're like an old married couple, but she only saw it as a joke. Ned had felt some sort of way for her since 6th grade. But it took him some time to realize that those feelings were more than just platonic.

He kept those feelings in for quite some time, and maybe those feelings deserved to be said out loud.
