Soulmate au: The ability to hear your soulmate's thoughts when they are experiencing strong emotions.

Jung Hoseok. The kindest, sweetest man you will ever meet, with a personality so bright the sun can't even compare to it. His quirky attitude could cheer up anyone's day but what happens when the sun himself is feeling down and depressed?

"C'mon hobi I know you haven't found your soulmate yet but can it be that bad? You'll find her someday" Jungkook said patting his hyungs back.

"You don't understand kookie! All of you guys can hear your soulmate happy and well but mine, I can hear her voice, her cries every day she's in pain and theres nothing i can do about it" Hoseok replied with glassy eyes.

Jungkook looked around trying to think of a way to cheer up Hoseok and gasped when something caught his eye.

"LOOK HYUNG! There's the other hyungs, after school why don't we all go out for a guys night that might cheer you up" Jungkookie said with his adorable bunny smile.

"Aww thanks kookie, although i might pas-"

"HOSEOK IT WILL BE FUN YOU ARE COMING NO BUTS!" Eomma Jin screamed into Hoseoks ear.

All 6 boys gathered around Hoseok softly punching and tugging on him to convince him join.

"Fine, fine I'll come are you happy now?" Hoseok agreed rolling his eyes in a playful manner.

They all cheered and finished eating their lunches to return to the classroom.

The classroom was bright and loud as always with Taehyung screaming something about gucci and some girl called Jaehee crying about a broken nail.

The lively atmosphere could put a smile on anyones face but one person sat there in silence, tears welling up in his eyes.

Why are you even here?

Those girls are right

No one loves you

Your nothing

Jhope shut his eyes trying to block out the horrible thoughts his soulmate had of herself. He wanted nothing more but to embrace her lovingly in his arms whispering sweet nothings in her ear but instead he was here listening to some stupid teacher struggle to control a class.

"Psssttt Jin, Jinnie, JIN HYUNG LISTEN TO ME PLEASEU!" Jimin screeched getting irritated at the lack of response.

"What is it Jimin? Shouldn't you focus on your work?" Jin finally replied with.

"Oml who cares no one even does anything this lesson there's like no point. Also doesn't Hobi look kinda upset, Its so strange to see him like this. I miss sunshine hyung!" Jimin whined and Jin sighed.

"I hope his soulmate is okay, the sooner they meet the better. I know as soon as they lock eyes hobi will spring up and become his adorable self again so dw Chimchim" Jin explained with a beautiful smile.

"Alright i trust you Jin hyung" Jiminie replied with an cute eye smile.

Time seemed to pass excruciatingly slow for the 7 boys. The bell finally rang signalling the end of school but Jungkook ended up falling asleep meaning Namjoon, unfortunately had to carry him as he refused to get up.

"Hobi, Class is over come on lets go!" Yoongi yelled dragging Hoseok off his chair.

The boys walked to their favourite restaurant and sat down at their usual table.

"Im guessing you boys want the usual, right?" The waitress asked with a kind smile.

"Yes please" They all replied in perfect sync now that Jungkook was awake.

"So Yoongi how's your new song doing?" Namjoon asked causing everyone to get involved in a heated discussion about music, love, passion, etc.

"I can hear my soulmates voice sometimes and she sounds really nice. I usually hear her when she's excited though" Jungkook said after getting onto the topic of soulmates.

"Either my soulmate has a deep voice or im gay" Taehyung blurted out casually causing the entire table to burst out in laughter.

"I dont hear much from my soulmate tbh, maybe she just doesn't feel strong emotions often" Jimin said and Jin patted his back.

"Dw guys one day we will all find our soulmates, and i know once we do we will all be extremely happy but lets not focus on that now. Lets focus on the present" Jin said and everyone round the table agreed.

The food came not long after Jins speech and they all ate like there was no tomorrow.

"I DARE YOU TO COVER YOU WINGS IN EXTRA HOT CHILLI SAUCE" Taehyung screamed causing everyone to look at him.

"Taetae hush your being to loud!!!" Hoseok screeched back becoming more energetic after Jins wonderful speech.

"Hobi i dont think screaming back at him is gonna help" Jungkook said.

"Well no one cares what you think!" Hoseok said sassily doing a dramatic hair flip.

The rest of the night went well with laughs and jokes everywhere, Hoseok was back to him normal self so much that he almost forgot his soulmate's issues.

"Man that was great!" Namjoon said as we exited the restaurant.

"What time is it?" Taehyung asked.

"Six o'clock"

I walked away from the others hearing something that made my heart clench inside.

C'mon (Y/N) stay strong, Your Soulmate is waiting for you! One day I'll hear his beautiful voice in person and all my fears will just wash away.

Tears brimmed in Hoseoks eyes but he quickly wiped them away not wanting to stress the other members.

"Guys Can you hear someone crying?" Yoongi asked alarming everyone.

"Look there!" Taehyung screamed and the boys came face to face with a girl getting pushed around by other girls.

"Look at you, you're nothing but trash remember that!"

I am not trash

"Are are you gonna cry huh?"

No, im done with tears

"I don't think your soulmate will ever love you!"

Shut up! You're wrong, He loves me i heard it myself.

The girls continued spitting out horrible words at the poor girl causing the 7 boys to snap.

They ran up to the bullys ripping them off the girl and looked them dead in the eye.

"IF I EVER SEE YOU GIRLS TOUCH HER EVER AGAIN WE WILL HURT YOU UNDERSTOOD!" Yoongi hissed causing the girls to tremble in fear.

"Y-yes" They stuttered.

"Now apologise" Hoseok  said seriously with a dangerous glint in his eye.

"W-were very s-s-sorry" They squeaked out before running away.

"Hey are you okay?" Jin asked bending down to reach her level.

"Yes, Im okay thank you" She said softly causing Hoseok to snap his head at her.

"Speak again!" Hoseok almost screamed and she looked at him with wide eyes.

"Y-your voice, it's his, YOUR HIM" She screamed running up to hobi and hugging him.

"I can't believe I've finally found you" Hoseok cried into her hair smiling like a mad man. He held her close and cupped her face staring into her beautiful  (e/c) orbs.

"Listen to me okay, whatever those girls or anyone else says to you do not listen. You are beautiful and wonderful and special and i will always love you" Hoeseok whispered in her ear.

"Awww"
"CONGRATULATIONS"
"JHOOOOOOOOPE"
The boys cheered in the background making the new couple laugh.

"Oh yeah i forgot to ask! What's your name cutie?" Hoseok asked with a bright smile showing off his dimples.

"Oh wow your dimples are adorable and my name is (Y/N), Whats yours?"
She replied.

"My name is Jung Hoseok also know as Jhope. Although you can call me your hope!, your angel!, or your sunshine!"
